Description

Up for sale is a gorgeous 2007 Cadillac CTS sedan equipped with a strong 2.8L V6 engine and Automatic transmission with manual shift option. This Cadillac has just 81k original miles on the clock and it runs and drives GREAT! We have recently purchased the car from an insurance company. It was announced as a front end damage, but the only problems we noticed were cracked oil pan and a small dent in the engine cradle that doesn't affect vehicle driving or performance in any way (see pictures). There was NO damage to the body, engine block or transmission and all airbags were intact! NO water damage either!

We have professionally replaced the oil pan. We have also detailed the interior and installed a brand new battery. The car runs and drives GREAT with no problems. Engine, transmission and all electrical components including power seat, radio, blower motor, power windows etc. work fine. The interior is very clean with no rips or odors of any kind. This is a NON-smoker vehicle. All tires are still in good shape.

This Cadillac CTS is loaded with a gorgeous Black Leather interior, Dual Climate Control, Power Seat, Power Windows, locks and mirrors, Cruise Control, OnStar/Bluetooth, Side Airbags, Fog Lights, Factory Alloy Wheels, CD and much more! The car comes with NY salvage certificate. You should be able to register it in any state after you pass the inspection. Please inquire about a salvage vehicle registration process at your local DMV to avoid potential problems. We can pass NY salvage inspection for you and get a rebuilt title, please inquire about the details if interested.

This Cadillac runs and drives great, engine and transmission work 100%. There are NO leaks or noises of any kind, NO warning lights on the dash, NO stories! If you've been looking for a clean and reliable ride that won't break your bank - this is it! We try to describe our cars as accurately as possible, but please remember they are used cars and therefore are not perfect. GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

Is this the 2014-15 Cadillac Escalade?

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

Following the introduction of the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, we're expecting General Motors won't wait too much longer to show off the next-generation fullsize SUVs that share this platform - including the Cadillac Escalade. It's still not clear if the next Escalade will debut for the 2014 or 2015 model years, but Carscoops has what it claims to an exclusive first look of the new Cadillac, revealing a portion of the headlight, front fascia and wheel.
Judging from this small picture, it looks like the Escalade could incorporate styling cues that we've seen on new Cadillac models like the ELR and the 2014 CTS, but that article says that other design details could include tall, vertical taillights similar to the CTS Wagon, staggered-width wheels and a narrower daylight opening for the side windows. The last time we saw the fourth-generation 'Slade back in October in spy shots, the heavy camouflage prevented us from getting an idea of the luxury SUV's appearance, but this image and description gives us something to look forward to. Head on over to Carscoops for more potential information as well as a full rendering from back in January.

Cadillac's de Nysschen takes aim at Porsche 911, Cayenne

Mon, Nov 24 2014

Johan de Nysschen has big plans for Cadillac. He's moved the brand from Detroit to New York, revamped its model nomenclature, and planning a raft of new models for the near future – including a $250,000 luxury sedan to take on the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. But the veteran executive of luxury automakers has some more performance-oriented machinery in mind, too. Speaking with Car and Driver at the Los Angeles Auto Show last week, de Nysschen suggested Cadillac could be ready to launch a flagship sports car sometime in the next decade. The halo model would take aim at the Porsche 911 and do for Cadillac what Audi did with the R8, Mercedes is doing with the AMG GT and Acura once did (and is aiming to do again) with the NSX. Just what form it would take remains a big unknown, but de Nysschen indicated that the brand would need to be built up further before the sports car would be launched, lest it emerge too detached from Cadillac's image. The last time Cadillac delved into that territory was with the Corvette-based XLR, of which it sold only 15,000 or so examples – far below initial targets. The 911 rival isn't the only performance model de Nysschen has in mind, however. He plans to further expand the V series into a more substantial sub-brand to include a crossover to take on the likes of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, BMW X5 M and all those many AMG-tuned Mercedes utilities. The idea of an entry-level model to slot in below the ATS was mooted as well. A range of diesel engines are slated to help Cadillac break into overseas markets in similar fashion to how Maserati has expanded its market reach with oil-burning versions of the Ghibli and Quattroporte. And we wouldn't be surprised to see Cadillac get in on a new flagship SUV being launched by Opel in Europe, either.
