You are watching an auction for my 2010 Cadillac Catera Touring Sedan with 26,379 original miles.and three years or 50,000 mile left on Factory warranty bumper to bumper. This car is immaculate clean, always garage, and cover, all maintenance records and work done by Cavender Cadillac in San Antonio,Texas. I bought this car in 2010 but seldom used it.(Too  much work no time to drive)  This car come with a GM Protection plan extended Factory Protection with part and labor including electronics, even if failure is cause normal ware. for 73,700 with $100.00 deductible and $50.00 transfer fee. There are three years and  about 50,000 miles left on this factory warranty.
Three Mode 6 speed Trasnmission.
2010 Cadillac CTS with the 3.0L DI V6 and 6-speed automatic.  This is a very efficient engine, producing 270 hp from only 3L of displacement.  It uses the very latest engine technologies, including direct injection and variable valve timing to achieve this high output level.  270 hp is very comparable to the outputs from high performance V8s a decade ago.

The 6-speed automatic in the CTS  offers 3 modes of operation.  First is “just put it in Drive and go”.  This is normal, quiet, smooth mode. Next is fully manual mode which allows one to select gears and shift the car like a clutch-less manual.  This gives you the greatest level of control.  In this mode or in Sport Mode the dash changes to indicate the current gear that the automatic is in.  That alone is worth sliding the selector to the right, because it gives you much more insight into how well the transmission manages things.  Seeing a Cadillac make a quick shift from 6th to 2nd and lunge forward is very inspiring.

Serious buyer only please. Payment by certified Cashier' check and must clear bank before car transfers. If bank finance my local bank will deal with you bank to transfer title. Valid State driver license is required (a copy will be made) before test driving /showing the car. Show by appointment due to my work schedule . Thanks a million.

Cadillac ad boss is happy controversial Poolside TV ad created debate

Thu, Mar 6 2014

Remember Cadillac's controversial commercial for it ELR plug-in hybrid? Did you find it provocative? If so, that's a good thing according to the brand's advertising director, Craig Bierley. First aired during NBC's coverage of the Olympic opening ceremony, the minute-long spot returned to the tele again this weekend, bookending the Academy Awards on ABC. Titled Poolside, the bit was meant as "brand provocation" and whether you enjoyed it or not – sentiment is said to run 3:1 on the pro side – we can probably all agree it fulfilled its role as such. If you were one of those who felt the ad erred on the side of nationalistic consumerism (or what have you), your anger might be somewhat assuaged after reading this article from Advertising Age in which Bierley addresses most of what he believes are misconceptions about the message. For one, the spot isn't aimed at the One Percent, just those who make $200,000 a year. Or, as Craig Bierley, Cadillac's advertising director, calls them, "people who haven't been given anything." Bierley told Advertising Age that the spot doesn't celebrate workaholicsm, instead, "We're not making a statement saying, 'We want people to work hard.' What we're saying is that hard work has its payoffs.'" While our commentors seemed mostly to enjoy discussing the value proposition that is (or is not, depending on your point of view) the Cadillac ELR, the majority appeared to enjoy the commercial. If you were one of those offended, however, let us know if your opinion has changed upon reading Cadillac's defense. If you don't remember what all the fuss was about, scroll below to take another dip in Poolside.

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.

Cadillac Elmiraj Concept slinks in Leno's Garage

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Jay Leno's Garage has moved to Pebble Beach for the week. This time around, the affable comedian is taking a look at the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept that debuted during the Monterey car week, and is talking to General Motors vice president of global design, Ed Welburn.
There's plenty of reminiscing about what concept cars were like when these two were kids, before a fairly deep dive into the striking Elmiraj Concept itself. Welburn shares a few anecdotes about the design process behind the two-door concept, including how his designers changed his mind on the grille design.
After bringing up the Cimarron, Leno makes a solid point that the Elmiraj would be a solid production car that could even spawn a four-door variant. We couldn't agree more. Take a look below for the full video from Jay Leno's Garage.
