2-month old 7-year guarantee AC/Delco Battery.
I have the old dull looking wheels if the buyer wants them. I replaced them with the chrome wheels with gold emblems.
The previous owner put premium Michelin tires on it when I bought it. I drove the car 200 miles home, then put the Vogue tires on. So, if'n you would like the near new tires I took off you can have them.
I am giving two additional new Vogue tires with the car that match the Vogues on the car. These have the 1-1/4" whitewall which are just about impossible to find now without being almost used up.
These have the Vogue YELLOW rings on them. Vogue says "Gold" but they are really "Yellow". Gold sounds classier than yellow. If anyone is into Vogue tires and wants to know how to keep the Yellow like new, email me.
New top in box. I don't need a new top but I bought it at an auto swap meet for next to nothing, bought it for just in case. But just-in-case never happened, so it's still in the original carton.
The CD does not work, but there is a new 10-disc CD changer in the trunk. Recently installed trunk pull down motor and antenae motor.
Dash pad and Windblocker included. 1/4" chrome trim accents the major horizontal lines.
The hardtop is being sold seperately, I'll give the buyer an offer they cannot refuse. I had it sold but came the shipping problem.
The A/C has just been converted to the new R134 system and charged. THAT ain't cheap. Most Allantes still have the old impossible to charge R12 system.
Has the Boze premium Symphony sound system. But lets face it, if it were possible to put the whole symphony in the car, being a convertible, it wouldn't sound any better than the cheapest Walmart radio. Unless your a kid and want to put the top down, turn the power up and entertain (P-Off) the neighborhood.
Chrome covered lower rocker panels. You won't see another Allante with this feature.
The console (see pic) was stepped on and pushed in by my dog. Nothing, except 2 clips were broken. They look like a 10-cent item, but knowing Cadillac they probable want fifty bucks each.
The left side taillight lense is cracked. I replaced it 2 years ago but now it is broken again. Seems like these lenses are a target. THIS crack is an acceptable crack.
Since January I have had to park outside. So it comes with an almost new full cover plus another still in the carton. What you see is my Quickie cover (2 vinyl table cloth covers put together) for no-rain nights.
I have another CD player but didn't put it in. I decided to put in the 10-disc CD changer instead. So comes with CD changer, not installed. It is still in the box so I don't know if it works, I assume it does.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. GM winding down Chevrolet brand in Europe
Thu, 05 Dec 2013If you've taken even a cursory look at GM's European strategy and wondered how it can target the market there with both Chevrolet and Opel/Vauxhall, you're not alone. In fact General Motors itself has found it difficult to justify the two-pronged approach. That's why it's essentially pulling Chevy from the European marketplace.
Instead of trying to ply European buyers with what are mostly former Daewoo products rebadged as Chevys, GM will now let Opel (or Vauxhall in the UK) represent its mass-market aspirations. Chevrolet will keep its presence in Russia and other former Soviet markets, and will continue selling certain niche products in Eastern and Western Europe. The Corvette, for example, has long been sold in Europe through Cadillac dealerships, which for its part is currently "finalizing plans for expanding in the European market".
While the shift in strategy is expected to help GM get a stronger foothold in the European market in the long run, in the short term the restructuring will cost it dearly: between $700 million and $1 billion, according to its own estimates, split between the last quarter of this year and the first half of the next. GM will likely build PHEV batteries in China soon
Wed, Jul 27 2016It's a big week for batteries. Friday, Tesla will hold a big event at its Gigafactory in Reno, NV. But even in Michigan, there are things happening on the electrified automotive front. This was proven when GM invited journalists to its Brownstown Battery Assembly Plant today, highlighting the six different battery packs it makes for nine vehicles around the world (plus a tenth, coming to Asia, that has not yet been announced). During our tour, we learned a few interesting tidbits that we thought readers would like to hear: The Cadillac CT6 plug-in hybrid launches in China this fall before coming to the US next year. GM builds the battery packs in Michigan and ships them to China for final assembly in the PHEV. For now, this is all fine for GM to qualify for China's incentives for building green cars in the country. But, as Bill Wallace, GM's director of global battery systems, told AutoblogGreen, this could change thanks to the country's 'Made in China 2025' plan. The situation is "evolving," he said, and it's a safe assumption that GM will need to build packs in China some day. For the CT6 PHEVs that will be sold in the US, the batteries will make a round trip, since GM will only build the plug-in version in China. As for the range of the CT6 PHEV, that hasn't been announced, but since China offers incentives for vehicles that get at least 50 kilometers (31 miles), that's a likely target (the US range (UPDATE: GM did announce an expected range for the CT6 PHEV in the US at the LA Auto Show last fall, saying it would "travel approximately 30 miles on a full electric charge"). The battery pack in the CT6 is also a clunky box-type thing, totally unlike the near-elegant T-shape used in the Volt. This despite the fact that the guts of the two packs are similar. Both have 192 li-ion cells and weigh almost the same, but GM tuned the CT6 pack for acceleration instead of range, the way it did with the Volt's pack. Still, the main reason the packs are different is because the CT6 is a rear-wheel drive vehicle, and the tunnel that the Volt's pack uses is occupied by the driveshaft. Despite the highly touted second-gen Chevy Volt going on sale last year, GM still has the capacity to build battery packs for the old, first-gen model. This is because the company is legally required to be able to provide replacement packs for warrantied vehicles (for up to 10 years), and the second-gen packs don't fit into the first-gen vehicles.
