ALLANT'E

58,000 Original Miles

This 1990.5 Black Allant'e with Charcoal Interior is absolutely perfect in every way.  I have been dealing exclusively with Allant'es for 14 years and this is a Great Car!  I bought this “Rust Free” California car from a corporate Executive in Escondido, California.  It has 58,000 well-maintained, adult-driven, miles on it.  It has 20” Neeper Chrome Wheels with brand new Falcon low profile tires.  However, should you prefer I will exchange for the 16 inch original silver Allante wheels with brand new Goodyear tires as shown in the pictures.  Mechanically this car is 100% and has plenty of documentation , in a three ring binder, to back it up.  Every single thing works perfectly and the Air Conditioning blows very cold.  The convertible top is in excellent condition.  There is not one door ding on the flawless brand new two-stage paint on this car.  This is a rare color combination as only 392 black Allantes were built in 1990.  I am the president of the Allant'e Club of America and see hundreds of Allantes a year.  This is one of the finest cars, with this few miles that I have ever seen!  It comes with a cup holder that I sell on my website, www.allantestore.com , to fit these cars.  This is one sexy little Allante with its bad boy 20 inch wheels and throaty Borla exhaust.

The discerning buyer knows that the 1990.5 Allantes have the updated convertible top mechanism that ran through the 1993 model year.  This improvement means a much more enjoyable time putting your top up and down.

This car is show ready!

As stated before if you prefer the stock silver Allante wheels with brand new Goodyear tires you can have them instead of the Neeper wheels package.  Just let me know when you buy.

These cars, with their small V-8 engine, get about 18 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the highway.  This car runs great on regular gasoline!

THERE  IS A MATCHING HARDTOP TO THIS CAR WHICH IS AVAILABLE FOR $3,000.00 EXTRA.

Just let me know if you want the Hardtop when you buy the car.

Feel free to call and discuss any of you Allant'e questions and needs.

This 1969 Ford F-100 has a Cadillac CTS-V engine lurking underhood

Fri, Jan 30 2015

Something always feels just a little taboo when someone builds a custom and then slots in a powertrain from a rival automaker. That's exactly the case with this modded 1969 Ford F-100 boasting a highly tuned LSA supercharged V8 like from the second-gen Cadillac CTS-V. However, with a claimed 800 horsepower on tap thanks in part to running an estimated 20 pounds of boost, it's easy to get over any bad feelings. Built by Tommy Pike Customs in South Carolina, the truck tries to keep the exterior looking somewhat stock. Although, the jade green and satin gold paint, Quaker State logo, lowered suspension and black wheels immediately suggest something is up. Once the F-100 starts up with its menacing growl, absolutely any doubts of this beast being unaltered are immediately gone. Not so obvious are some tweaks to actually help put all that power down, including disc brakes and independent suspension setups at the front and rear. The video gives some glimpses at a few of Pike's other creations, but the real star here is definitely his mean, green Ford.

Cadillac Escalade gets $5,000 discount to ward off Lincoln Navigator

Wed, Nov 8 2017

General Motors apparently isn't going to let early good reception for the redesigned Lincoln Navigator steal thunder from its own luxury SUV without a fight. It's offering a $5,000 discount on the purchase or lease of the Cadillac Escalade this month to any buyer who trades in a 1999 or newer Lincoln model, Bloomberg reports. GM spokesman Jim Cain told Bloomberg the incentive is being offered to keep prices competitive for the Escalade. The 2018 Navigator starts at $72,055, compared to $73,995 for the Escalade, but the outgoing version of the Navigator is selling for an average of around $53,000, compared with more than $80,000 on average for the Escalade, he said. The Escalade was the top-selling domestic luxury SUV in October and No. 4 in the segment, according to Motor Intelligence. It far outsold the Navigator, which last saw a refresh in 2015 and a full redesign in 2007. But Ford is hoping to gain back some ground with the new Navigator and updated Expedition, which also trails the Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevy Suburban in its segment. Bloomberg notes that one Morgan Stanley analyst estimates that GM owns a $2 billion annual pretax profit edge in the lucrative luxury sport utility segment. Our recent First Drive review called the new Navigator "far superior to its primary competitor, the Cadillac Escalade."Related Video:

U.S. new-vehicle sales in 2018 rise slightly to 17.27 million [UPDATE]

Thu, Jan 3 2019

DETROIT — Sales of new vehicles in the U.S. rose slightly in 2018, defying predictions and highlighting a strong economy. Automakers reported an increase of 0.3 percent over a year ago to 17.27 million vehicles. The increase came despite rising interest rates, a volatile stock market, and rising car and truck prices that pushed some buyers out of the new-vehicle market. Industry analysts and automakers said strong economic fundamentals pushed up sales and should keep them near historic highs in 2019. "Economic conditions in the U.S. are favorable and should continue to be supportive of vehicle sales at or around their current run rate," Ford Chief Economist Emily Kolinski Morris said after the company and other automakers announced their sales numbers Thursday. That auto sales remain near the 2016 record of 17.55 million is a testimonial to the strength of the economy, said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics. The job market, he said, has created new employment, and wage growth has accelerated. "That's fundamental to selling anything," he said. "If there are lots of jobs and people are getting bigger paychecks, they will buy more." The unemployment rate is 3.7 percent, a 49-year low. The economy is thought to have grown close to 3 percent last year, its best performance in more than a decade. Consumers, the main driver of the economy, are spending freely. The Federal Reserve raised its key interest rate four times in 2018 but is only expected to raise it twice this year. Auto sales also were helped by low gasoline prices and rising home values, Zandi said. It all means that people are likely to keep buying new vehicles this year even as they grow more expensive. The Edmunds.com auto-pricing site estimates that the average new vehicle price hit a record $35,957 in December, about 2 percent higher than the previous year. It will be harder for automakers to keep the sales pace above 17 million because they have been enticing buyers for several years now with low-interest financing and other incentives, Zandi said. He predicts more deals in the coming year as job growth slows and credit tightens for higher-risk buyers. Edmunds, which provides content, including automotive tips and reviews, for distribution by The Associated Press, predicts that sales will drop this year to 16.9 million.
