2004 Neiman Marcus XLR always garage kept.  Low miles and in excellent condition. All services preformed by Cadillac Dealers.  Family owned since new.  I have both fobs and window sticker.  Great collectors car.

The limited edition 2004 Neiman Marcus Cadillac XLR sold out in just 14 minutes, and now 101 driveways - and drivers - across the country anticipate their arrival. These limited-production luxury roadsters are the first models to roll off a dedicated production line at General Motors' Bowling Green, Ky. assembly facility.

Steve Foley Cadillac, located in Northbrook, IL, today received eight Neiman Marcus Limited Edition XLRs. This is the largest number the limited-edition vehicles sent to a single dealer. Foley Cadillac has flown customers in from as for away as California and Florida for this special, invitation-only presentation of the vehicles.

The limited edition XLR retails for $85,000 and was only available for purchase through the 2003 Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog. When Neiman Marcus opened bidding for this featured item on October 15, 2002 the XLR sold out in 14 minutes, setting a record for any fantasy gift vehicle Neiman Marcus ever showcased in its annual Christmas Book.

Originally unveiled at Pebble Beach in August 2002, the limited edition XLR features an exclusive Ultra Violet exterior hue, two-tone shale and ebony interior, and an engraved, numbered sill plate.

Cadillac produced a total of 101 Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Cadillac XLRs; two were auctioned or raffled off last fall to benefit charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Women's Committee for Hospice Care and 99 were sold through the Neiman Marcus catalog.

2004 model year Cadillac XLRs are now in production on a dedicated assembly line at GM's Bowling Green facility. Shipments to Cadillac dealers began earlier this month.

According to Jay Spenchian, Cadillac marketing director, introduction of the XLR marks an important step in Cadillac's product renaissance. "The fact that this limited edition vehicle sold out in just 14 minutes demonstrates the anticipation for the XLR. This is our flagship vehicle and it highlights the dynamic product changes taking place at Cadillac."

Replete with a bold design, advanced technology and a blend of luxury and performance, the Cadillac XLR, is the freshest face in the class of elite luxury roasters. The MSRP for the Cadillac XLR is $76,200 (including destination charges) and features standard equipment such as power retractable hardtop, Keyless Access with push button start, StabiliTrak, Magnetic Ride Control, adaptive cruise control and much more.

Join Autoblog editors for a full video tour of the 2019 Detroit Auto Show

Thu, Jan 17 2019

The 2019 North American International Auto Show might have been a little more quiet than past years, but there were still some pretty major reveals, including the Toyota Supra, new Ford Explorer, Shelby GT500, Subaru WRX STI S209 and Kia Telluride. We also saw some lovely concepts like the Nissan IMs and Lexus LC Convertible. Senior Editor Alex Kierstein, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Senior Green Editor John Beltz Snyder join me, Associate Editor Reese Counts — with Social Media Manager Michael Dylan Ferrara behind the camera — on a long walk through the show. We discuss cars, poke around the stands, dress a bloody wound and answer your questions in the Facebook comments. For more Detroit coverage, you can check out Autoblog's picks for the best in show, listen to our podcast or look at the best images from all the reveals. Finally, don't forget to watch Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore hand over our 2019 Technology of the Year award. Cadillac won't replace XTS after 2019

Mon, Apr 6 2015

Cadillac wouldn't be Cadillac without a large sedan, but the definition of just which model fits that bill changed last week. Before the New York Auto Show, that role fell to the XTS. After the New York Auto Show, though, the focus shifted to the CT6. So what's to become of the XTS now that the CT6 has emerged? According to the latest intel, it'll live out the rest of its lifecycle until around 2019, but then drive off to its own funeral like so many limousines and hearses that were built off its platform. This was learned based on comments made by Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen at the closed-door unveiling of the CT6 in Manhattan: "Ultimately, a car like XTS when it reaches the end of its lifecycle, will not be replaced." That'll be bad news for the livery business that – in the post-Town Car era – has come to rely on the XTS as the basis for its stretch jobs. "We will not have a car that will lend itself to these kind of modifications and we will probably withdraw from those markets," de Nysschen told GM Inside News. That's not all the new Cadillac boss had to say, though: he also indicated that the replacements for the ATS and CTS will be positioned differently from the current models: "As we move into the future refining our sedan portfolio, there will be no direct successor to the CTS. There will be no direct successor to the ATS. There is no point to renaming those cars because in the future those cars will disappear." Based on Johan's comments and those we've heard until now, we'd expect the replacement for the ATS to move down a size to take on the likes of the Audi A3 and Mercedes CLA, and the CTS' successor to move down half a size class as well to give the new CT6 a bit more breathing room, and possibly an even larger flagship sedan to be positioned above them all. Watch Brad Pitt's Chinese Cadillac XTS commercial

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Once upon a time, in a land not so far from this one, Brad Pitt was the very face anti-consumerism. You see, when he slipped into the role of the elitist-loathing, food-abusing, violence-embracing Tyler Durden from Fight Club, his visage was inextricably married to images of leveling credit card corporations with nothing more than a little human fat and some determination. Of course, that was before Pitt settled into old age with a passel of children at his feet. Now, it seems, he'll shill for something as long as it doesn't damage his reputation in America.
Need proof? Look no further than this Chinese ad for the Cadillac XTS. In it, Pitt contentedly wafts the big front-wheel drive barge around San Francisco against a mildly euphoric soundtrack. You can check out the scene for yourself below, just make sure you have your last meal squarely situated in your stomach before pressing play. We have to wonder if Pitt wakes up in the middle of the night with Chuck Palahniuk's oddly omniscient words echoing in his ears: "Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you."
