This vehicle is not mint but it is very clean, it is not original as it just had a brand new repaint to address the sun fade of the last 29 years.

This was the last year for this very unique and sought after body style. Please view the pictures and take into consideration that there are some very minor areas where the paint is not perfect. These areas are where the paint meets the chrome accents.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to these vehicles. With that in mind most buyers would consider this an exceptional vehicle for its age. I have a perfect ebay score and want to keep it that way. So please look at the picture in there enlarged fromat and call and ask if you have a question. I can be reached from 10 am until 6 pm Monday through Saturday at 843-407-4018, my name is Vince.

Today you will have a rare opportunity to purchase one of the cleanest 1985 Cadillac Sevilles left that are not priced in the $10,000 plus range. This is a southern vehicle that has spent it's entire life in Georgia and South Carolina. Being from the South it has never seen salt nor had any rust issues.

It has brand new firemist paint as close to the original colormatch of Desert Frost.  It complements it's near mint tufted Sandalwood Heather cloth interior. When you combine this with the full brown canvas roof... this is one of the nicest color combinations I have ever seen.

This Seville is loaded with options... it's original sticker price was $24,077.56
The following options included:
1.Recliner power passenger seat with 6 way power passenger seat adjustment...$277.20 option in 1985
2.Full Brown Cabriolet Roof... $835.80 option in 1985
3.Rear defogger with heated mirrors... $184.80 option in 1985
4.Illuminated entry system... $67.20 option in 1985
5.Electric power rear view mirror's in chrome... $84.84 option in 1985
6.Illuminated vanity mirrors driver and passenger... $117.70 option in 1985
7.Leather trimmed steering whee...l $88.20 option in 1985
8.Tilt and telescopic steering wheel... $163.80 option in 1985
9.Locking wire wheels... $336.00 option in 1985
10.Headlamp control guidematic... $79.80 in 1985
11.Twilight sentinel... $71.40 option in 1985
12.Heavy duty battery... $33.60 option in 1985
13.Radio with AM/FM stereo signal seek and scan with digital display and cassette... $251.16 option in 1985
14.Digital instrument cluster... $199.92 option in 1985
15.Cruise control... $163.80 option in 1985

Again this is not a mint Seville but the nicest dailey cruisier you will find for in this price range.

Payment in full is expected within three days of end of auction. We only accept cash in person or bank wire transfer.

We have an excellent shipper who runs the I-95 route from Miami to New York for between $400 to $450.

Cadillac drops the base engine in the 2017 ATS

Tue, Jun 28 2016

Cadillac, in an effort to boost sales of the slow moving ATS, is making some changes to the 2017 model. Most notably, the luxury manufacturer is dropping the base 2.5-liter normally-aspirated four-cylinder engine from the lineup, leaving the 272 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four as the base engine. The base 2.0-liter ATS will start at $35,590, $1,380 more than the 2016 model, though that's partially offset by more standard equipment. The base model now comes standard with Cadillac's controversial CUE infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen display, a Bose surround-sound speaker system, and a backup camera. Despite the bump in price for the base model, all other ATS trim levels will see prices reduced between $650 and $1,100, depending on the model. The ATS was designed to be Cadillac's answer to the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Though the ATS was originally released at a time where the Germans were slightly off their game, it's never quite matched up in terms of performance or customer perception posting disappointing sales figures compared to the competition. Cadillac has had problems getting customers into cars, and few ATS customers are converts from luxury competition. In order to offload inventory and lure in new customers, the company has previously been forced to offer big lease deals. Many of these customers have come over from more mainstream brands like Chevrolet and Ford. ATS sales have fallen 23 percent through May versus 2015. The car's market share has fallen every year since 2013, currently occupying just 4.5 percent of the compact luxury market. Unless Cadillac can offer some truly amazing deals, we don't expect many shoppers to buy American over the strong German competition. Related video: Cadillac Luxury Sedan

Cadillac will kill the plug-in ELR

Tue, Feb 2 2016

Johan de Nysschen, president of General Motors' Cadillac division, says Caddy's ELR extended-range plug-in won't have any future generations, Automotive News (subs. req.) says. The publication previously reported that the car would be around for another couple of years, but even that's questionable, and the model could be yanked even sooner. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell confirmed that there won't be a second-generation ELR. "Subsequent generations of the car will not be developed," he wrote in an e-mail to Autoblog. "It's available currently as a 2016 model, and there's no change to that status." The model debuted in late 2013 and used a version of the powertrain in the Chevrolet Volt. The main problem, of course, was that the car had a $76,000 price tag that proved too much for most automobile buyers to stomach. Last year, GM sold 1,024 ELRs, down 22 percent from 2014's totals. By comparison, the Chevy Volt moved more than 15,000 units, and that itself was still down 18 percent from year-earlier figures. The merciful end to the ELR shouldn't be much of a surprise, as Cadillac Chief Marketing Officer Uwe Ellinghaus went on the record in December of essentially calling the model a dud. It's a far cry from the excitement, though, that the concept model of what was then called the Converj was unveiled to the public at the Detroit Auto Show in 2009. For those feeling misty-eyed or nostalgic, though, check here for Autoblog's First Drive impressions of the extended-range plug-in. All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
