Where it was passed down to a nephew and moved to Hillsborough, California in the San Francisco bay area. This Cadillac is a true California Survivor with what are described as 65,000 original miles. The car has been garaged and maintained all of it's life. The Seville is a very special Cadillac and was the most expensive Cadillac of the time. Not only is this a beautiful survivor it is a rare one with a white exterior and a black interior, also sporting the rare white Landau top. Everything about this car is original and just like it was back in 1976. It even has an official original Metal Del Monte Resident Grille badge, only residents where able to obtain. The top has no rips in it and is in nice original shape. All the emblems are there and the Cadillac emblem in the front paint detail is crisp and original no fading. Cadillac XT4 crossover reveals its lighting
Tue, Jan 30 2018The upcoming Cadillac XT4 compact crossover has once again been spotted, this time with less camouflage and an update to its lighting. Specifically, the little crossover is sporting production lighting front and rear, and it's sure to make the luxury SUV one of the boldest-looking Cadillacs. Part of the reason for this comes from the taillights. As we suspected from the last set of spy shots, the XT4 will have highly distinctive lights that run the full height of the C-pillar. Though it's a similar design to that of the Escalade, it's made more interesting by the significant forward rake of the rear pillar. Not only that, but that pillar is quite thick, too. The look is actually reminiscent of the old CTS wagon. Moving around the side, the reduced camouflage reveals that the doors and quarter panels are fairly conservative and lacking in many creases or bulges. We can make out the edges of what will likely be black plastic fender flares and rocker panel cladding. Finally reaching the front, we see that the headlights are similar to those of many current Cadillacs, including the recently refreshed XTS sedan. The main part of the lamp starts high up and is slightly horizontal like the Escala concept, but they extend over the fenders and a strip of LEDs descends down the front. A previous report noted the XT4 will be built in Kansas on the Chevy Malibu platform. That means it will be a front-drive-based vehicle likely offering both front- and all-wheel-drive. Under the hood will probably be at least one turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a second, more powerful upgrade option a possibility. We expect to see the fully revealed model to show up by the end of 2018. Cadillac CT6 to be lighter than CTS, get PHEV model
Mon, 06 Oct 2014Cadillac is suddenly one of the most talked about automakers in the US with Johan de Nysschen taking control. The brand claims that it eventually wants to become, once again, the standard of the world. One of the first vehicles to actually prove whether that's possible is its upcoming CT6 flagship sedan. We still don't know what the production version looks like undisguised, but other important details are falling into place. The latest big news sheds some light on the Caddy's powertrain and some estimates of its weight and size.
General Motors product chief Mark Reuss dropped the details at the automaker's Global Business Conference. According to The Detroit News, he revealed that the CT6 would use a twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a plug-in hybrid would be an additional option. He reportedly claimed it would be the most "powerful six-cylinder gas engine in the segment" and said the hybrid could get around 70 miles per gallon.
Reuss also revealed that the CT6 would be about 53 pounds lighter than the current CTS, despite being about 8 inches longer, according to The Detroit News. If that's the case, the new flagship is about 203.5-inches long, which is 1.5-inches more than the XTS.

There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant.
