Black Cadillac 2005 V-8 Sts on 2040-cars
Fairfield, Connecticut, United States
|
Up for sale is my personally owned 2005 Cadillac STS with Navigation. I am only selling this vehicle because I have two other cars and have no space to keep this. This car has had routine maintenance and most recently has had a fresh Synthetic Mobil 1 oil change, tune-up, new battry, front brakes, and a brake assist sensor in the last few months. The car has been inspected by NY STATE and has passed all emissions and safety tests as of January 2014 . The car has tremendous 8 cylinder acceleration and great shifting throughout the gears, drives smooth, and quiet on the road. The car leaks nothing and operates through all highway and city driving effortlessly, and with pretty good 27 miles per gallon highway efficiency. The car has perfect glass and is tinted with 30% tint making this one black beauty stealth machine. The grill is also a custom installed grill that was an optional upgrade on the sts. The wheels are free of rash and are beautiful Cadillac Spoke alloys in great condition. Occasionally when parking the steering wheel gets tight and my mechanic stated that there is an intermittent steering stabilatrack module that is intermittently shorting causing that fault which with diagnostics and replacement of the modules can easily be corrected. He has further stated that the rack and the power steering and all other steering controls work as they should and there are no leaks. All the dual climate controls and electronics work as they should including the power windows, door locks, power seats, moon roof, Navigation System, heat and ac, steering activation, on star, Sirius XM radio, and all other electronic accessories and convenience features that make this Xenon head lighted vehicle a Cadillac. The Radio and Navigation unit was also replaced a few months ago and is brand new and works perfectly. The interior is free of any rips and tears and is beautifully appointed in deep dark black leather, and with a good leather conditioner will look brand new. The Tires are decent but I would replace them within 10 thousand miles. After the hard winter storms we have had, the vehicle has sustained ice and debris small ding damage to the hood, rear deck lid, spoiler, and the roof. From about 10 feet away you cannot really tell, but upon closer examination you can see the small dings, which can easily be smoothed out by a good body man, and the rear passenger door has a light hit extending into the rear quarter, again all easily fixed by a good body man, inexpensively. The two rear tail lights have slight cracks in the lenses but this is not necessary to replace as they passed inspection and work perfectly. The rear spoiler has been pitted and is discolored but can be resurfaced quite easily. The paint on a whole and the car look impressive though, and with a little body work, it can be perfect Cadillac. The pictures display a very clean car that needs some body work, runs amazing, and with a little detail will be a pristine black beauty. The car is sold , AS IS and where is with no warranty expressed or implied and any deposits given are NON REFUNDABLE. Happy Bidding |

Fri, Oct 22 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski for a robust week of reviews and news discussion. They start with what they've been driving, and it's a pretty impressive list. The Toyota Tundra and Rivian R1T hold down the truck end of things, with Hyundai Kona N Line and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing making an appearance on the enthusiast side. The updated Polaris Slingshot rounds things out. Next, they pivot to news, where Maverick guarantees a little more truck talk. That's followed by GM's new 1,000-horsepower monument to crate motor displacement, Stellantis searching for battery partners, details of the new Honda Civic Si and Tesla's massive third-quarter performance. Then, they spend a listener's money. Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Hotter Cadillac CT4-V prototype spied testing at GM's Proving Grounds
Thu, Jun 27 2019Cadillac already teased us once with the hotter CT4-V and CT5-V at the Belle Isle Grand Prix, but these photos are still the best look yet at what's next for the Cadillac V-Series. The car we're looking at in heavy camouflage here is a high-performance CT4, but we don't really have a name to call it at this point. Cadillac hasn't said, so it could be anything. We'll just refer to it as the faster V, as it's certainly looking a bit more racy than the warmed-over CT4-V already revealed. While the styling isn't drastically different from the CT4-V already out there, the front intake and openings look deeper and more aggressive. The middle, raised section of the hood is a little taller and the whole front-end design looks a lot like the one teased in Belle Isle. This vehicle even appears to have the same mirror design as the faster V. The side sills, quad exhaust tips and wide rear tires lend this prototype an aggressive look, but we did note that it doesn't have the big ducktail spoiler we saw teased previously. Maybe Cadillac is trying to keep a low profile while testing. A keen eye will notice a wild apparatus attached to the front, which would serve as a great jousting pole if you were into that kind of thing. We don't know exactly when Cadillac plans to introduce the faster V machines, but we wouldn't doubt if it happened before the year was out. The ATS-V and CTS-V didn't look wholly different than the pedestrian versions of those cars, and this prototype indicates Caddy may follow a similar pattern this time around. All will be explained from GM soon, but for now, we wait.
President Trump's new limo spotted testing at high speed
Thu, May 25 2017What you're looking at is no ordinary limo. Look past the swirly camouflage and you'll see what appears to be a Cadillac, but don't let those looks fool you. This is the new Beast, otherwise known as Cadillac One, and codenamed by the Secret Service as Stagecoach. This is the car that will shuttle President Trump to and fro. It's hard to get a sense of scale from these images, but this car is huge. It's very likely built atop a heavy-duty truck platform, which is necessary due to the thick armor-like bodywork that's hermetically sealed to keep POTUS safe and sound. It's hard to tell for certain, but it appears this Beastie is riding on Goodyear Regional RHS II tires, which would otherwise be used on trucks and buses. Translation: this thing is heavy. The Beast is ostensibly badged as a Cadillac, and it wears the latest version of Caddy's corporate grille, badge, and upright headlamps at the front. From the rear, there's a hint of Rolls-Royce Phantom, with rear glass that tapers elegantly into the deck lid. In between is a massive slab-sided passenger compartment that's rumored to seat as many as seven passengers. These shots were snapped at GM's Milford Proving Grounds. It seems The Beast is undergoing some high-speed tests, though high-speed here is relative. Those Goodyears are only rated for 70 miles per hour or so, and we doubt the big 8.1-liter gasoline-fueled V8 engine is geared to push the President much faster than that, anyway.
