2006 V6 Used 3.6l V6 24v Automatic Rwd Sedan Onstar Bose on 2040-cars
Dearborn, Michigan, United States
I have a 2006 Cadillac STS V6 SFI 3.6L CLEAN TITLE, PRIVATE OWNER, NOT A DEALER, in very mint condition, NEVER SEEN SMOKE, with only 90,000 miles. Exterior color is a midnight blue and tan leather interior. Both interior and exterior are in top mint condition, with no damage or tears and cuts, SUPER CLEAN!!! New Tires and Brakes, one month old. The vehicle drives amazingly smooth with NO PROBLEMS at all. This vehicle was well kept and maintained, and was a mother driven vehicle. Some options that come with the vehicle include, power moonroor/sunroof, power windows, power locks and seats, heated seats, push to start button, remote starter, HID headlights and fog lights, Navigation, seat tweeter speakers, polished alloy wheels, parking sensors, keyless entry and much much more options. All speakers and audio work perfect with no problems. The only thing I want to mention, is it has an airbag light, due to a vehicle bump from behind, which hit a sensor. I have replaced the rear bumper and new sensors didn't make that airbag light go away. It doesn't bother me, and people say I have to take it to the dealer to have them reset it. I'll let the new owner deal with that. Other than that, the vehicle is in top condition. Come check it out and see for yourself to believe that this really is the best STS on Ebay. Title is in hand and ready to be shipped with the car.
Please do not bid if you have a feedback of 0, I will have your bid removed unless you contact me with your information. No need to waste my time and other serious bidder's time. Thank you for your understanding, and Goodluck. |

Car subscription services: A slow, expensive start — but the potential is huge
Wed, Dec 26 2018Americans are used to paying for subscriptions — to magazines and cable television, for instance — but experience shows they'll cancel when the price of admission gets too high, or there are more tempting alternatives. Cord cutters ditched nearly 1.5 million pay-TV subscriptions in 2017, according to a survey by Leichtman Research Group. Cable TV started out cheap with basic offerings, and then got expensive. The auto industry's subscription offerings are new, but they're starting out costly, and not price-competitive with traditional leasing. The upside is that they take the hassle out of car ownership for busy people by letting the service take care of maintenance, insurance, licensing and taxes. And they give consumers choice, often allowing relatively painless switches between different cars in the automakers' lineup. Subscription services also point the way toward an ownership-free auto experience, and offer an easy transition to a potential world where ride- and car-sharing will be dominant. Subscriptions are here to stay, but consumers may take a while to "get" them. Lincoln's subscription service for lightly used 2015 to 2017 models, offered through the Ford-owned Canvas beginning this year, got off to a slow start. Many early subscribers canceled. Last month, Cadillac announced it would " temporarily pause" its $1,800-per-month Book subscription service for "adjustments" as of December 1. According to the Wall Street Journal, "Snags with the back-end technology used to support the service made some customer-service functions tedious and time-consuming, adding costs for the company." The challenge for automakers is to come up with a strategy that offers consumers a compelling, affordable option to regular ownership, and one that can also make a profit. I think they'll find that sweet spot, but they're not there yet. Jack Nerad, former executive editorial director at Kelley Blue Book and author of " The Complete Idiot's Guide to Buying or Leasing a Car," points out that "A lot of people expected that subscriptions would be very valuable for people who wanted inexpensive transportation, but the reality is quite the opposite. Subscriptions are offering more choices for the wealthy.

Cadillac logo losing its wreath?
Tue, 23 Jul 2013The easily recognizable Cadillac logo dates back to the company's founding in the early 1900s, but over the last 110 years, there has been an on-again, off-again love affair with the wreath surrounding the crest. Cadillac's current badge design has used the wreath since the 1980s, but Automotive News is reporting that GM's luxury division is planning to ditch the laurel wreath for a cleaner-looking logo.
The new logo could make its debut as early as next month on a new concept car that will be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, although the report also says that it might be until 2015 before it makes its way to a production car. Even then, it doesn't like anything has been finalized yet, as the article also says that plans could still change.
As Cadillac looks to improve its global presence as a luxury automaker, the report says that a simpler logo could make it easier for designers to incorporate the badge onto the car - either in the grille or above the grille (possibly in a fashion similar to Mercedes-Benz). Head on over to the AN article, which shows the Cadillac logo dating back to its earliest design.
