This auction is for a wild custom candy green 2006 Cadillac STS with every option you could get on it! This car started out with the blackberry color from the factory. We decided we did not want it to look like every other STS out there, so we took it all apart and gave it this custom candy green paint job. It is sort of close to the gotta have it green on the new ford mustangs. All the jambs and inside corners of the car are painted so whenever you open something you will see the green color all around, just like factory. This color looks outrageous in the sun, the pictures do not do it justice. When had it parked outside and people would pull there car over just to stop and look at it. The engine cover and brake calipers were also sprayed green to match. Besides the awesome paint on this car it is also the V8 all wheel drive luxury performance edition. That gets you a 320HP V8, All Wheel Drive, performance brakes and cooling along with magnetic ride control sport suspension. The same is used on the new Corvettes and Camaros. We also added the 18" Cadillac accessory wheels to give it the right look. This STS used to live in Arizona so there is no rust anywhere on this car. I have always run synthetics in this car. Its runs and drives fantastic and is super fast, you would never tell that it has 91000 miles on it.. This Cadillac also has Borla exhaust and it sounds mean. We also have a clean carfax on this car so no issues there. The windows are tinted with a 20% film so they are dark enough for the daytime but you can still see good at night. There is also the custom upper and lower chrome grills which accent the wheels and parts we painted silver on the car to give it a nice balance of a second color. This STS stickered for over $60000 in 2006. So here is your chance to get a custom Cadillac that you can rest assured everybody will take notice of.

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.

2015 Cadillac Escalade is exactly what you expect [w/video]

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Leading up to the debut of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, we were told that the new luxo-SUV would be "much less ostentatious" and that we could expect greater differentiation from its Chevy Tahoe/Suburban and GMC Yukon siblings. And while those things may be true to some extent, after digesting the full raft of Escalade information and photography, we can say that this new 2015 model is exactly what we were expecting all along.
No, there isn't a single part of the new Escalade package makes us go "wow" or "ooh," but it still looks like a solid, nicely updated offering that will surely attract the same sort of baller status when it hits the road. For starters, the new front end has been completely redesigned, where cleaner, tauter lines work with the full-LED headlamps and running lamps to create a face that, while familiar, falls right in line with the rest of Cadillac's lineup. Around the sides, the shape is exactly the same as the rest of the SUV's platform mates, with better-fitting body panels and a handsome, upright design. Of course, 20-inch wheels are standard, and hifalutin' 22-inch rollers are available (in chrome, we assume). Things get really interesting around back, where full-LED taillamps extend from the bumper all the way up to the top of the tailgate, and - like the Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon - the rear window wiper has been integrated into the top of the hatch for a cleaner look. It all looks pretty modern and good, but doesn't really tone down the otherwise flashiness of the Escalade package.
Like its predecessor, the new Escalade will be available in standard- and extended-wheelbase formats (bring on the EXT!). Only one engine is available: GM's 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, good for 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Both two- and four-wheel drive configurations will be offered, and the new Escalade should be a bit better to drive than the previous model, with a new coil-over front suspension and five-link rear setup, a wider track, variable-assist electric power steering and Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control system with Tour and Sport modes.
