Up for sale is this super clean 2007 Cadillac SRX 4. This vehicle is a great vehicle and is fully loaded with every option available. This vehicle was involved in fresh water flood and is being sold with a New York salvage certificate. We are not sure why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage title because this vehicle is PERFECT!
This SRX is very clean and has a Pearl White exterior with Black leather interior accented by real wood trimming.  The leather seats are in great condition and they are also heated and fully powered with lumbar functions. This SRX just turned 118k miles (which is extremely low for this engine) and it runs and drives fantastically. All these miles are highway miles and it shows. The drive is so smooth, its like floating on a cloud. Every feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat in this car is as hot as you could want it to be. This vehicle is ready for its new owner and needs nothing at all done to it.
This SRX 4 is loaded up with every possible option. It has full leather interior with heated seats, lumbar seats that blow up with air, AWD option package, navigation system, power glass Panoramic roof, rear parking sensors, 20 inch wheel and suspension package (expensive option), power rear hatch, power adjustable pedals, DVD player, xenon headlights, on board computer, upgraded bose sound system, remote keyless entry with alarm, traction control, tiptronic transmission, and all the power features you could possibly think of.
This Cadillac comes with the original Cadillac key and remote fob. We also have the all the floor mats, and the complete jack and spare tire set.
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. The car good tires all around with plenty on tread remaining. We have driven it 1000 miles and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors, and good windshield wiper blades.
The exterior of the vehicle is clean. The paint is nice and glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. The paint shines like glass and you can see your reflection in it. The body is in above average condition and there is no real blemishes to point out on this vehicle at all. The car shows extremely well, especially for its age. I would say this vehicle is mint, with the exceptoion of a small ding on the corner of the rear fender. Its very small and does no take away from the look at all. This is the SRX to get!
The interior of the vehicle is also super clean. The seats have no major wear and the leather is very firm and supple. The dash and door panels are also very nice and clean.  All the wood trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The interior is perfect condition in my opinion. This is probably one of the SRX4's that you will find on eBay. They dont get much better than this.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage certificate. It is the buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks and good luck bidding!

Weekly Recap: Lincoln Continental serves up the style, Cadillac CT6 delivers the substance in New York

Sat, Apr 4 2015

Lincoln and Cadillac grabbed the spotlight this week at the New York Auto Show in a dramatic fashion that evoked the brands' glory days. America's two luxury carmakers went toe-to-toe with their glittering reveals and plans for ambitious expansion. Both were selling their technology, style and the promise of a better future. Cadillac vs. Lincoln. At the Javits Center, 2015 seemed a lot like 1956. Neither company was interested in drawing comparisons with the other, which is fair, and accurate. They're in vastly different places in terms of sales and the pace of their turnarounds, but they hope to reach the same eventual destination at the pinnacle of the luxury-car world. Lincoln used the element of surprise to great effect with the Continental concept. A production version is still at least a year away, and the company was vague on details. Officially, we don't even know if it is front- or rear-wheel drive, though speculation abounds. Who cares? The seats can be adjusted 30 ways! The Continental also showed off a bold chrome grille that will be the new face of Lincoln. The blue bomber also rolled on blinged-out 21-inch polished aluminum wheels, used a 3.0-liter EcoBoost engine and had huge LED head lights with "laser-assisted" high beams. All of this resulted in almost blinding attention. The concept drew rave reviews, stirred controversy with Bentley designers who argued Lincoln ripped them off, and most importantly, pointed a way forward for the newly determined brand that hopes to compete with Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Cadillac and Lexus. View 32 Photos Meanwhile, Cadillac showed the CT6, a finished product that will top its range and is loaded with the best and latest technologies General Motors has at its disposal. With production starting late this year, Cadillac had more specifics at the ready. Engines? Cadillac has a couple V6s and a turbo four for sure. It's working on a hybrid, and has considered a V-Series variant. It's based on a new rear-wheel-drive, aluminum-intensive chassis called Omega, features an advanced collision-mitigation system with automatic braking and has a cabin that's laden with "leathers, exotic woods and carbon fiber." It will be assembled at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck factory and goes on sale next year. At this point, Cadillac is more than willing to talk about every except for the price. The devil was not in the details for Cadillac, as evidenced by the CT6. But it wasn't for Lincoln either.

Fixated By Europeans, GM Ensures The Third Time Is A Charm
Few things are better for consumers than competition raising the bar. And no campaign seems fiercer than the one currently underway in the midsize sport-sedan segment now that Cadillac has introduced its all-new 2014 CTS to go head-to-head against the benchmark Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
While the CTS has been on the market for slightly more than a decade, up until this third-generation, Cadillac hasn't truly had the proper high-performance rear-wheel-drive architecture to build a genuine world-class fighter, both inside and out. And now that the American automaker has successfully mirrored Audi, BMW and Mercedes in overall vehicle size, engine output and cabin appointments, the first shots have been fired.

GM lays off 450 at Lansing Grand River Assembly

Mon, Dec 8 2014

General Motors will lay off 450 employees at its Lansing Grand River factory, The Detroit News reports, which is 100 more than the company said it'd be letting go last month. Lansing Grand River Assembly currently builds the Cadillac ATS and CTS, both of which have suffered sluggish sales, with the smaller sedan down 20 percent through last month and the larger model down 2.3 percent, The Detroit News reports. "We are adjusting plant production capacity to better align with market demand. Beginning in January 2015, the plant will operate on a single shift," a GM statement read, before explaining that not all the laid off Grand River employees will be jobless. Of the employees that have been laid off to make room for the single work shift, around 200 will transfer to the Lansing Delta Township factory, home of the Lambda-platform crossovers, GM's statement confirmed. The News expects this one-shift arrangement to continue until at least late next year, when the Alpha-platform Chevy Camaro transitions from General Motors' Oshawa, Ontario factory to Lansing. Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen said at last month's LA Auto Show, "It may not necessarily be permanent, a time may come when we've gained momentum and we can reinstate it. But for now, the adjustment to production capacity is in alignment with our plans for 2015."
