2004 Cadillac Srx Suv White Diamond - Loaded - Awd on 2040-cars

US $10,500.00
Year:2004 Mileage:92340
Location:

San Mateo, California, United States

San Mateo, California, United States

We are the original owners, the car report shows 2 owners because we bought the car in a company name and transferred the registration to a personal name...I have the original contract and paperwork to prove this if it should be an issue.

This was the wife's ride...she loved the car.  It's perfect for a soccer Mom... Kids are on their own now and I've already replaced it with a 2014 Cadillac SRX AWD to keep Momma happy...

The only issues I'm aware of is two of the air pressure transmitting devices in the rear tire which transmit the tire pressure to the Driver's Information Center either need "re-addressing (programming) or possible replacement...

Paint is in excellent condition...no dents or scratches...1 very minor ding but you may not find it unless I pointed it out.

The interior is also in excellent condition, no tears or worn areas (this includes the Burled Walnut wood trim)... there is some discoloration (not real bad) of the floor carpeting in a couple places on the rug from spillage of some sort...no stains on the leather.

The car was damaged once while parked in a parking lot which resulted in the drivers taillight and some paint required...this was all fixed and corrected through a professional body shop approved by AAA...I have pictures of the damage if requested...it was not major damage...

A little crazing, not moisture leak, of the plastic on the headlamp cover...see pics.

The car has always been in California.  No undercarriage rust other than normal wear and tear...no rot etc ...see pic...even has the original (still has the red no wear, indicator lines on the tread)...spare lowers by a crank located in a compartment in the cargo area...no crawling underneath if you get a flat tire.

Registration clean and clear and is paid until 2015.

It has the "Panorama" extra large electric moon roof and electric interior cover.  The car is equipped with Privacy Glass.

Separate DVD players in the front and rear...driver cannot view a movie unless the vehicle is in Park.  Rear DVD has two sets of earphones and a remote control...all working and in excellent condition.

This is a low mileage car...only 92,345...

See the Original Window Sticker pictured and see a recent Kelly Blue Book Value.

The car starts, runs, and performs very nice!  If you're in the area, you're welcome to inspect and test drive as long as you have a valid driver's license.

The Cadillac manuals and NAV information provided by the dealer are still in great condition and in the car.

Bid with confidence, this is a real nice, clean, and loaded luxury SUV.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 through PayPal is required with 48 hours of the close of bidding.  The balance of the payment within seven (7) days after close of bidding, and must be in cash or wired to my bank account before I release the vehicle and paperwork.   Cashier's check is only acceptable if produced in my presence at a bank or you must wait until guaranteed, not just cleared by my bank before the car or paperwork is released.

The car is being kept in a warehouse until it's sold.

Because the car is being advertised locally as well as on eBay, I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.

PLEASE ask any questions or concerns before bidding!  I've tried to be accurate and honest with the description, but if I missed something please ASK!

Cadillac ATS-V and Mercedes-AMG C63 S pitted Head to Head

Fri, Sep 4 2015

Our favorite (and only) Autoblog-alum-turned-Motor Trend staffer is back with another Head to Head video, this time pitting the Cadillac ATS-V with the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. This performance machine shootout is ostensibly a way to figure out which of these new super sedans will earn the right to go toe-to-toe with the undisputed champion of its segment, the BMW M3. In reality, it's just a really good excuse to put three of the hottest sedans on the market on video at the same time... and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. Jonny Lieberman spends time in each of the two new challengers on the road, picking apart their powertrains, chassis and driving dynamics on the kinds of twisty roads drivers of these cars will relish. Then, he hands the keys off to Randy Pobst, who sort of acts as an unmasked version of a certain tame racing driver, except that he talks and has a personality. 0-60 and quarter-mile times are equated, braking performance is measured and scores are tallied before the two sport sedans end up at Willow Springs raceway. Interestingly enough, the car that proves (just slightly) faster at the race track isn't the car that wins the comparison. Curious? We're not going to spoil it for you. Check out the video, above. Then, for more action of these two machines, check out the videos just below. NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022

Thu, Mar 17 2016

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and virtually every automaker in the US domestic market have announced a pact to make automatic emergency braking standard by 2022. Here's the full rundown of companies involved: BMW, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo (not to mention the brands that fall under each automaker's respective umbrella). Like we reported yesterday, AEB will be as ubiquitous in the future as traction and stability control are today. But the thing to note here is that this is not a governmental mandate. It's truly an agreement between automakers and the government, a fact that NHTSA claims will lead to widespread adoption three years sooner than a formal rule. That fact in itself should prevent up to 28,000 crashes and 12,000 injuries. The agreement will come into effect in two waves. For the majority of vehicles on the road – those with gross vehicle weights below 8,500 pounds – AEB will need to be standard equipment by September 1, 2022. Vehicles between 8,501 and 10,000 pounds will have an extra three years to offer AEB. "It's an exciting time for vehicle safety. By proactively making emergency braking systems standard equipment on their vehicles, these 20 automakers will help prevent thousands of crashes and save lives," said Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in an official statement. "It's a win for safety and a win for consumers." Read on for the official press release from NHTSA. Automakers making the commitment are Audi, BMW, FCA US LLC, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla Motors Inc., Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo Car USA.

Best and Worst GM Cars

Thu, Apr 7 2022

Oh yes, because we just love receiving angry letters from devoted Pontiac Grand Am enthusiasts, we have decided to go there. Based on a heated group Slack conversation, the topic came up about the best and worst GM cars. First of all time, and then those currently on sale, and then just mostly a rambling discussion of Oldsmobiles our parents and grandparents owned (or engineered). Eventually, three of us made the video above. Like it? Maybe we can make more. Many awesome GM cars are definitely going unmentioned here, so please let us know your bests and worsts in the comments below. Mostly, it's important to note that this post largely exists as a vehicle for delivering the above video that dives far deeper into GM's greatest hits and biggest flops, specifically those from the 1980s and 1990s. What you'll find below is a collection of our editors identifying a best current and best-of-all-time choice, plus a worst current and worst-of-all-time choice. Comprehensive it is not, but again, comments. -Senior Editor James Riswick Best Current GM Vehicle Chevrolet Corvette We were flying by the seats of our pants a bit in this first outing and my notes were similarly extemporaneous. When it came time to tie it all together on camera, I failed spectacularly. Thank the maker for text, because this gives me the opportunity to perhaps slightly better explain my convoluted reasoning. I chose the C8 Corvette because it's simply overwhelmingly good, and it's merely the baseline from which this generation of Corvette will be expanded.  While the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (more on that in a minute) is an amazing snapshot of GM's current performance standing and its little sibling so enraptured me that I went out and bought one, their existence is fleeting. Corvette will live on; forced-induction Cadillac sport sedans, not so much. So while all three are amazing machines when viewed in a vacuum, the Corvette stands above them as both a reflection of GM's current performance credentials and a signpost of what is to come. So, given the choice between the C8 and the 5V-Blackwing right now, I'd choose the C8. In 10 years, when the Blackwing is no longer in production and Corvette is in its 9th generation? Well, that might be a different story. Now, just pretend I said something even remotely that coherent when we get to the part of the video where I try to make an argument for the 5-V Blackwing as best GM car I've ever driven. Or just laugh at me while I ramble incoherently.
