For auction is my garage kept 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 106940 miles. I have owned the vehicle for 3 years now and have been driving it regularly on sunny days while improving it. The maroon paint is in very nice shape and there is no major dents or damage to the exterior. There are a few door dings that were on it from before my owning it but none are too bad. The interior is in excellent shape with all the leather looking great and no tears anywhere. There is a couple small tears in the fabric on the drivers side windshield pillar but that is about it. The rear tires are practically new, the fronts are worn but still some miles left on them. Since my owning it I have been slowly making it a better vehicle as it was from upstate New York. I believe it was a daily driver so there is some rust underneath. I have replaced the stock air intake with a cold air one for slightly better performance but I still have the stock one and it will be sold with the car. I replaced the rear bumper with a non-rusty one but it does have two small dents on it on the left side (tough to see them in the pics). When I installed the rear bumper I purchased (215.00!) the new plastic trim that goes around it so its perfect. The stainless trim around the car is all in very nice shape with really no bad dings on it. The vinyl top looks a little dry and old but not too bad. The engine compartment had some rust under the battery tray so I installed a piece of sheetmetal under it and sprayed rust converter under there. The car drives great and feels quite strong, the transmission shifts fine also. I have changed the front brake pads and rear drum shoes within the past 500 miles and also replaced the brake lines as the originals were rusty. There is a new battery, new sway bar links and also I just had the front seat backs re-stitched as they were starting to look a little loose. The car is my sunny day driver and is exceptionally clean inside and out. The frame rails underneath have 2 small spots where it was rusting a little, I also sprayed rust converter along the whole length of the rails after thoroughly flushing them clean. The A/C blows warm not sure what it needs to blow cold but the heat works fine. All power options work as they should with no issues. My reserve for the car is very low and I welcome anyone that would like to come see the vehicle in person. Thank you very much for looking, please call or text with any questions, 5706903159, Mark.

Cadillac ELR next EV to get Plugless Power wireless charging tech
Mon, Jul 28 2014Evatran has been testing its Plugless Power wireless charging systems for electric vehicles in the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf for years now and made the tech commercially available early this year. With the growth of the EV market, Evatran is getting ready to expand as well. The company announced today that it will add three premium EVs to the Plugless Power system by the end of the year, with the first (and so far only) named model being the Cadillac ELR. We expect it was not difficult for Evatran to adapt the Plugless Power system to the ELR, since the vehicle's powertrain is so similar to the one in the Volt. The main problem we see is that Cadillac has only sold 390 ELRs (as of the end of June), so this first Plugless Power expansion isn't exactly going to ignite sales, even if every ELR owner opts for the cool tech. If one of the next two announcement is for the Tesla Model S, though, then you're talking numbers. Speaking of the future, what models do you think will be next? The Plugless Power L2 wireless systems were recently declared safe by the Intertek and start at $2,470, not including installation or government incentives. All the online/smartphone connectivity features that work with the car when it's got a cord stuck in it work with the L2 system, Evatran says. Orders start today, and the ELR package will be available September 1. There's more, including a local news report on the technology, below. WSLS 10 NBC in Roanoke/Lynchburg Va Wireless Vehicle Charging available to Cadillac ELR owners starting September 1st The Cadillac ELR Joins the Growing List of Compatible Electric Vehicle ("EV") Models from Evatran, the World Leader in High-Power Wireless Charging RICHMOND, VA July 28, 2014 – In an exciting statement today, Evatran Group, Inc. ("Evatran"), announced that its PLUGLESS wireless charging technology would soon be available on the Cadillac ELR. Evatran, the first Company in the world to make wireless charging available to individual EV drivers, currently has systems that are compatible with the Nissan LEAF and Chevrolet Volt. The Cadillac ELR is the first model to be announced in what is intended to be three new premium model announcements by the end of 2014. Evatran will begin accepting advanced orders today for deliveries as soon as September 1st. "The launch of the Cadillac ELR system is an important milestone for us," commented Rebecca Hough, Evatran CEO and Co-Founder.
2015 Cadillac ATS-V gunning for the BMW M3
Mon, 03 Jun 2013Spy photographers have spotted something interesting. Cadillac engineers have taken to public streets with the upcoming ATS-V and a playmate: the current BMW M3 Sedan. The prototype seen here wears a more aggressive front fascia, flared fenders and beefy brakes. Quad exhaust tips and what looks to be a small lip spoiler on the trunk deck sum up the most obvious visual changes over the standard ATS outside. Word has it the ATS-V will bow with the same twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 available in the nose of the XTS. In that application, the engine is good for a stout 410 horsepower, which should be more than enough to hustle the sedan around a track.
Other details are still murky, however. First and foremost: will GM offer the ATS-V with an honest manual transmission, like it does with its big brother, the CTS-V? Something tells us we won't have long to wait to find out - the machine will likely bow next year as a 2015 model. Until then, dig in on our newest bevy of spy photos.
First-edition Detroit muscle raises millions for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Mon, Jan 19 2015Amidst all the classic metal crossing the auction block each year in Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit automakers have a tradition of donating the first examples of their most enticing new muscle cars, with the proceeds of their sales going towards worthwhile charities. This year, Barrett-Jackson handled three noteworthy examples. The highest price among them was the first Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang with the VIN #001, which raised $1 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. General Motors donated the first new Chevy Corvette Z06 Convertible, the first retail example of the droptop supercar garnering $800,000 for the United Way. Along with the Z06, GM also donated the first new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan, which brought in $170,000 for Detroit's College for Creative Studies. Although these were the headline Motown muscle machines furnished by the automakers themselves, they weren't the only vehicles auctioned off for worthy causes. A 1950 GM Futurliner bus donated by collector Ron Pratte led the charge when it brought in $4.65 million for the Armed Forces Foundation. Other lots included a custom Jeep Wrangler donated by SEMA ($85k), a new M5 donated by BMW ($800k), a '79 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst ($140k), '39 Cadillac LaSalle C-Hawk ($410k), Jeff Gordon's 1999 NASCAR-spec Chevy Monte Carlo ($500k) and a Victory Cross Country 8-Ball motorcycle ($180k). All told, the charity lots raised over $8.7 million for local and national charities.
