Up for auction I have a Pretty solid 1970 Cadillac Limousine-Limo. It had not run in 8 years. I tuned it up and checked the fluids threw some gas in the carb and it fired right up with no smoke. I had to hot wire the coil when I started it because the key didn't work . They are some of the best engines ever made. I drained the antifreeze out before winter because it was not good enough for my climate. It's not getting gas from the tank. I think it needs a fuel pump. I added gas to the tank and it did not smell bad. The interior is pretty good but I ripped most of the carpet out because it smelled musty. Windshield has a crack. Brakes will need work. Tires are old but hold air. Will have to be towed. Ask questions if needed. Please only bid if you can pay for the car and pay for shipping. Some bubbling down low on a .couple fenders. See pictures. The floors and trunk are solid. Non Payers will be reported to ebay !!! I have the air cleaner that goes with the car.

It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
GM recalls 2014 Cadillac CTS recall
Wed, 02 Jul 2014No, that headline isn't a typo - General Motors has reportedly issued a recall for one of its own recalls. The recall of a recall affects the recall of the 2014 Cadillac CTS, which wasn't supposed to be recalled. Except that the 2014 CTS was supposed to be recalled. Oh no, now we've gone cross-eyed.
Allow us to explain. The redesigned, third-generation CTS Sedan does not feature a faulty ignition switch, while the 2014 CTS Coupe and Wagon, which are based on the second-gen car, do. And as it turns out, there are only 264 of those vehicles included in last week's 8.2-million-unit, ignition-switch recall. Model year 2003 to 2013 CTS Sedans, Coupes and Wagons are still covered.
It's not entirely clear how this, frankly, colossal mistake was made, although we're betting GM is rapidly trying to get to the bottom of this embarrassing issue. Regardless, let's just take what solace we can in there being one less vehicle that GM has recalled this year.
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
