RARE 1969 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD  BROUHAM, REAL CLASSIC VINTAGE RIDE, 44,000 UNMOLESTED MILES.

Low Reserve for Fast Sale...........

If you're looking for a great running older car, and an easy restoration, this is it. 472ci V8 engine. Two owner car with previous owner for over 43 years. They had several cars and trucks, this was the weekend ride.  All in original condition, nothing changed up or molested.
This was a recent buy for me. After  pick up, drove home over 100 miles with no issues what so ever.  Transmission  smooth, no leaks or over heating. I got the car with plans on easy interior restoration, then drive daily and work on the rest as I went along. However, things changed quickly (financial) and need to recoup costs and regroup. So, off she goes. Hopefully to someone who can easily restore and bring back as she should be. Who knows, add a rockin' sound system and a chandelier and it can be just like Snoop Dogs 69 "Brown Sugar". Ha.....

Over all, for a car that's 45 years, she's in great shape. Before I drove home, I installed new battery, (850cca), updated alternator with regulator and brake booster with new master brake cylinder.
Outside of an oil change and gas, that's all I've had to do to start driving. (-note, I bench bled the master, but could not bleed complete system, and probably should be done before putting into daily service).
This is a southern car and shows well. No rust on body panels, doors or hood. All solid floors and trunk. No welding of  floor pans to replace. Interior doors and jams rust free. Good solid car. The only area I've scene any rust at all is an area on trunk lid. Small strip that should be spotted in pics and easily fixed. Interior door  panels will need restore or replaced, all due to summer sun and heat. Door handles there and working. Tires have good tread and look like a recent add, however, are still older. I've tried to give the best description on the pros and cons of the car, but if I've forgot any, I'll try to add later.

If you'd like to see the car before bidding, call for directions. Located in Maryville, TN. About 15 minutes south of Knoxville Airport. (McGee Tyson).
Also listed locally, so may end early. But if bidding is ongoing, I'll leave auction going.

You can reach me between 10 AM and 10 PM at  865-640-6543, on road a lot, so if no answer, leave message and call Will be returned. Good luck bidding, you'll enjoy this car, easy restore.

Take care, Will.

Cadillac confirms new flagship to be built in Detroit next year

Fri, 19 Sep 2014

"The objective for this upcoming model is to lift the Cadillac range by entering the elite class of top-level luxury cars." - Johan de Nysschen
Cadillac confirmed Friday morning it will build its new flagship sedan, expected to be called the LTS, starting in late in 2015 in Detroit.

2015 Cadillac Escalade

Mon, 07 Apr 2014

Cadillac has been an interesting story in the auto industry over the past several years. Its comeback bid may be well over a decade old, but it's only recently that the Wreath and Crest has transformed from the auto industry's retirement home into its hot new thing. Today's Cadillac is a powerful marque working to instill passionate design, sound driving dynamics and cutting-edge technology into each model it builds, with vehicles like the ATS and redesigned CTS leading the charge.
Now, its latest model has arrived. This fourth-generation Escalade is among the most important new Cadillacs since the division's renaissance kicked into high gear. It's the brand's de facto flagship, and the first vehicle many young people think of when hearing the name "Cadillac." In the past, the Escalade was the chosen vehicle of the rich, flashy and famous. It's suffered over the past few years, though, particularly as new and more luxurious competitors have come to the fore.
With this latest redesign, General Motors is aiming to retake the spotlight as purveyors of the market's premier luxury SUV. To find out if it's been successful, I ventured down to the South Carolina Lowcountry to test the all-new 2015 Escalade.

No, Eminem is not giving away the Cadillac Ciel concept, Facebookers

Thu, Dec 4 2014

Damn it, Facebook people, stop being so gullible. When you see something on social media that requires you to share or like a status or page in exchange for a chance at winning something, it's almost always a hoax. This goes for iPads, or Bill Gates giving away cash or, yes, an Eminem fan page giving away a Cadillac Ciel. Now, normally we'd simply ignore this utter hogwash, but it's getting some traction on Facebook and, annoyingly, is beginning to clog our newsfeed. Ignoring the fact that the Ciel is a pure concept car that likely can't even be registered for regular use, there are more than a few things that should give this nonsense away as a hoax. First, Eminem has only ever gotten in bed with one automaker – Chrysler. It seems unlikely that he'd defect simply to give away a car on Facebook. Secondly, the page that is putting on the giveaway isn't even a verified page – Eminem's real Facebook fan page has 97 million likes, this one has 622,000. Third, a quick look at the caption for the Ciel's photo, shown above, reveals the sort of grammatical mess that no serious contest would allow. Take a look (sic implied throughout): "Only 24 Days Until Christmas, Can you Imagine yourself driving this Car? I'm about to make that happen, Its Official, I Will be giving away this 2014 Cadillac Ciel to one random lucky fan, all you gotta do is follow these three easy steps, Step 1) Share this photo, Step 2) Like my page, Slim Shady Step 3) Like this photo, Winner Will be picked On December 5th 4 Days Away, Good luck to Everyone!!" We reached out to Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell just for fun. Apparently, this photo and schtick pops up every few months with virtually the same text, only to vanish at the end of the "giveaway." You're as shocked as we are, right? So, once again folks, just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's true. If your friends, family and acquaintances are blowing up your Facebook feed and social network channels with this nonsense, be sure to set 'em straight with a link to this story – we're sure the real Slim Shady will appreciate it.
