This is Beautiful Senior driven garage kept since new Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Coupe. It has been very well Maintained and has no damage. It has Power Everything including Moon Roof, and all of it works. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles since new and the engine is so smooth and quiet you can barely hear it run. The Transmission shifts as it did when new with ease and glides down the highway. It has had a ton of maintenance done to it this year which I have receipt for. It has 4 brand new ( less than 500 Miles on them) all season radial tires. Brakes were checked when they were installed and they are great! It has a new ac/delco Battery, new Alternator, new air conditioning compressor (A/C BLOWS ICE COLD), radiator hoses and belts. It has a new fuel pump, gas filter, idle control module, ECM UNIT and fuel control module. It has had after-market replacement shocks less than 5000 miles ago(electronic load leveler system disconnected) . It has a new power antenna with an AIWA Stereo head unit with cd player and theft removal face plate. Stereo was hooked up to original Bose Speakers and it sounds great. The original working am/fm cassette player is in the trunk.

Car is in great condition it has some wear spots on the landau roof where it is just showing age, not dried out and is fine. All chrome is present, Climate control works fine. The speedometer does not work it stays at 0, the odometer does work as well as the trip set. It gets decent gas mileage and uses regular gas with the 4100 V8 which has been taken care of the right way and oil is always like new. It is a quiet engine with no smoke or noise. If you want the experience of a well cared for eighties Cadillac this is it. It has the Cadillac wire wheels with wheel lock device and has all the original owners and maintenance manuals in the glove. All the power windows, power locks, automatic trunk release and closure, power seats, power mirrors, cruise control, and power moon roof all work! No leaks from the roof, no leaks in the trunk original carpet like new. Seats have no rips or tears or wear, the dash has the usual one crack on the top. I hate selling this car, I love it, but it's an extra car and I need the cash. No Low ballers please. I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywhere and if you want to fly in and drive it home I'll pick you up at the airport. If not I can be around for a shipper to come and get it.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan

Sat, Jul 22 2017

Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. Cadillac ELR update delayed over autonomous drive systems issues

Fri, Nov 28 2014

Rumors had been circulating that the 2016 Cadillac ELR would bow in Los Angeles recently, featuring, in Cadillac's own words, "engineering enhancements." The rumors and that quote are as far as it got – the updated ELR pulled a no-show in LA, and no one outside of the brand appears to know when it will appear. GM Inside News says its sources at Cadillac pinned the ELR's absence on some autonomous driving features not being ready to reveal. According to GMI, Cadillac insiders say the upgraded ELR will be a "highly autonomous vehicle," and the company needs more time to gets its systems polished. The site says "it's not unreasonable to assume that ELR will be [the] vehicle" that gets Cadillac's Super Cruise technology, but that seems a lot more involved than "engineering enhancements," and in September Cadillac said we'd see it sometime in the next two years. It's possible the wait for the 2016 ELR and its secrets might only be a couple of months: the next-generation Chevrolet Volt, which shares a platform with the ELR and whose engineering updates we know quite a bit about, is scheduled to appear at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show in January.

It's going to cost $12 billion to fix Cadillac

Wed, Apr 1 2015

The Cadillac CT6's development predates Johan de Nysschen taking over at Cadillac, but the forthcoming flagship is the luxury brand's first major new product launch since the beginning of his tenure. The vehicle's debut also marks the beginning of a comprehensive $12 billion renewal plan bringing eight new vehicles in the next five years. Now, the former Audi and Infiniti exec is talking about joining Caddy and the company's future. "Cadillac will be a powerhouse global luxury brand that will command the respect of its peers," de Nysschen said about the forecast state of the company in 2020 to Bloomberg. He disclosed that three of those new vehicles under the five-year plan would be crossovers and reiterated that plug-in hybrids are on the way that would take advantage of the Chevrolet Volt's tech advances. De Nysschen also reminisced about joining Cadillac last year. He told Bloomberg that leaving Infiniti wasn't an easy decision, and there were apparently long conversations on the phone with General Motors President Dan Ammann discussing strategy for the luxury brand. De Nysschen was apparently clear that a greater investment and more autonomy from the corporate mother ship were vital. These days, the revitalization of Cadillac is just getting rolling. The company has a swanky New York office with a dedicated team to focus on the future. According to de Nysschen, the brand will grow its staff to around 150 people by the end of the year, compared to over 40 now. The marketing plan is to position the American luxury brand as a more distinctive product versus more common German rivals. It's going to be very interesting to see if this new Caddy can dare greatly enough to accomplish these lofty goals.
