Cadillac Eldorado Covertable 1973 Solid Arizona Car No Reserve !!!!!!! on 2040-cars

This Is a solid Arizona car with just a little surface rust. The frame is solid but the floor boards have a few pin holes. The car is in need of a total restoration. The convertible top needs replacing and the frame is broke. I believe you can order the parts that the top frame needs. The top motor works. The rear seat has been recovered but the front seats need recovering, Covers included. The motor and transmission are strong. The tires are very good and it has aluminum wheels. I was told that they are a rare factory option when I purchased the car. I tried to google pictures of other wheels like these from the factory but I could not find any. So I can't confirm that the wheels are from the factory. I have all four wheels but the spare Is currently on the left front. When I registered the car last year it had an Arizona title from the early 80's. I purchased the car from a collector who says he had it in storage for a few years. He never applied for a New York title. It currently has a clear New York Title. I believe it has most of the chrome trim, It was off the car when I purchased it. It has a new battery that is not currently installed. When I went to reinstall it I could not open the hood, it is stuck closed so I have not started it yet this year. When It was parked last year it ran and drove good, so I would expect the same when the battery is reinstalled. This was going to be a father and son project but I just don't have the time for it. Cadillac considering more engines, Vsport model for Escalade
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Want to roll in the latest Cadillac Escalade? You can get it with a 6.2-liter V8... or a 6.2-liter V8. Cadillac only offers the one engine option. But that may soon change.
According to the latest from Automotive News, Cadillac is contemplating a couple of new powertrain options for its blingin' big ute. The report suggests a twin-turbo V6 and a V6 turbodiesel could be offered, and that Cadillac could create a Vsport version of the Escalade like it offers on the new CTS sedan.
The more diverse engine offerings would help attract buyers from the new Lincoln Navigator, its prime competitor, which switched from a 5.4-liter V8 this year to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. The turbo V6 engines (both gasoline and diesel) would also help Cadillac market the Escalade overseas - particularly in Europe, where higher fuel prices preclude the prospect of driving a big V8 SUV for many buyers. Escalade sales have dropped from 35-40k units in the mid-2000s to around 12,000 the past couple of years.
2015 Cadillac Escalade configurator lets you bling it your way
Fri, 21 Mar 2014It's Friday, so there must be a new configurator to play with. While last week we showed you how to build your own McLaren 650S, today's ride is a bit more common. It's the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, a vehicle that you've been able to colorize since the end of last year, and which is sure to be an increasingly common sight on US roads in the coming months.
For those that have played with the build-your-Caddy tool, there's not much new here, aside from the vehicle being configured. The Escalade is available in three trims and two wheelbases, with prices spanning from the SWB, two-wheel-drive Standard, which starts at $72,690, on to the all-wheel-drive, long-wheelbase ESV Premium, which kicks off at $86,790. The options list, meanwhile, isn't hugely extensive. A rear-seat entertainment system and power-retractable side-steps (only available on the Premium trim) are the two notable options, while customers will have their choice of six exterior paints and two to three interior schemes, depending on the trim level.

2015 Cadillac Escalade on sale in April priced at $71,695*
Thu, 23 Jan 2014With the fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade set to go on sale in April, Cadillac has released the pricing data for its fullsize luxury SUV. While there's no retail configurator yet, the data posted on AOL Autos - and confirmed by Cadillac - shows that the 2015 Escalade will have a starting price of $71,695 (*not including $995 for destination).
This new starting price is about $8,000 more than the outgoing model, but Cadillac is quick to point out that the latest 'Slade is packed with more standard equipment in the new base Standard trim that actually puts it more on par with the midlevel Premium trim on the 2014 model (currently priced at $73,245). These new standard features include Magnetic Ride Control, LED headlights and taillights and 20-inch wheels.
Stepping up to the 2015 Escalade Luxury, the price increases to $75,695 and includes added equipment like 22-inch wheels, head-up display, power fold-and-tumble second-row seats and safety systems such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning. The top-rung 2015 Escalade Premium will start at $80,195 adding features such as a rear-seat entertainment system, illuminated exterior door handles and the Driver Assist Package consisting of front and rear automatic braking and adaptive cruise control.
