2000 Cadillac Eldorado Esc Coupe 2-door 4.6l on 2040-cars

US $7,750.00
Year:2000 Mileage:92000
Location:

Lincoln, California, United States

Lincoln, California, United States

This must be one of the nicest 2000 Eldorado ESC on EBay. It is a beautiful Pearl White with Tan Leather interior. It is from the last generation Eldorado which Cadillac built that ended in 2002.

It has never given me any trouble always preforming as it should. All gauges, switches and electronic features work as they should. The speedomoter is just about to roll over to 92,000 miles. We do drive it daily so miles will  vary from that stated.

The body and paint are gorgeous with on dents, scratches or blemishes, The paint shines like new, in fact people are often surprised when they hear it is a 14 year old car. Most think it is brand new.

The interior is very nice showing very little wear and has all the creature comforts. The leather in the Cadillac is so comfortable you don't want to get out when you arrive at your destination. It is nearly impossible to hear the 4.6 liter Nortstar 275HP v/8 engine while driving. In fact the car is so quiet you can actually listen to the beautiful music coming from the sound system and even hear passengers in the back seats speak with out having to raise their voices.

The ride quality is also very impressive. It is not to stiff like the European cars yet it has great contact with the road so the driver always feels in total control. The ride and drive quality is so great you can drive all day and feel nice and rested when you get to your destination.

Did I mention it has 275 hp? With this much power you might not call it a mussel car but it gets out and goes with the best of the luxury brands. To make it even better it has averaged  22mpgs combined in town and highway and I have gotten 30mpgs on the highway. This may change according to driving style.

It is equipped with P/S, P/B auto Trans, Air (dualZone) Power heated seats (driver /passenger) Am/FM Stero w/cassett, Tinted Glass(all Windows), 2 position memory, climate control Dual Zone), OnStar Capable, electronically adjustable rear view mirrors, Power disc brakes (new front pads) electric closing trunk and a on board computer system that monitors all the vital engine info and warns you when their is a potential problem.

It also has several after market features that have enhanced the appearance of the car. It has Chrome/over Aluminum Wheels with Vogue Tires (cost $3,600.00), Billet Aluminum Grille (cost$550.00), Rear Trunk Spoiler(cost $1,100.00) Tinted Side, Door and Rear Window (cost 775.00) and special Tail Lights (cost $675.00). With all the extras I believe this is the best Priced Eldorado on EBay

I have felt comfortable driving this car anywhere and so should you .  Bid with confidence.

Cadillac ad boss is happy controversial Poolside TV ad created debate

Thu, Mar 6 2014

Remember Cadillac's controversial commercial for it ELR plug-in hybrid? Did you find it provocative? If so, that's a good thing according to the brand's advertising director, Craig Bierley. First aired during NBC's coverage of the Olympic opening ceremony, the minute-long spot returned to the tele again this weekend, bookending the Academy Awards on ABC. Titled Poolside, the bit was meant as "brand provocation" and whether you enjoyed it or not – sentiment is said to run 3:1 on the pro side – we can probably all agree it fulfilled its role as such. If you were one of those who felt the ad erred on the side of nationalistic consumerism (or what have you), your anger might be somewhat assuaged after reading this article from Advertising Age in which Bierley addresses most of what he believes are misconceptions about the message. For one, the spot isn't aimed at the One Percent, just those who make $200,000 a year. Or, as Craig Bierley, Cadillac's advertising director, calls them, "people who haven't been given anything." Bierley told Advertising Age that the spot doesn't celebrate workaholicsm, instead, "We're not making a statement saying, 'We want people to work hard.' What we're saying is that hard work has its payoffs.'" While our commentors seemed mostly to enjoy discussing the value proposition that is (or is not, depending on your point of view) the Cadillac ELR, the majority appeared to enjoy the commercial. If you were one of those offended, however, let us know if your opinion has changed upon reading Cadillac's defense. If you don't remember what all the fuss was about, scroll below to take another dip in Poolside.

Autoweek divulges details on Presidential limo

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

Ever since the latest presidential limousine, also known as The Beast, debuted in 2009, we've wondered what's underneath that black Cadillac body. We already know a few details, like the fact it isn't a Cadillac at all, but a very heavy duty truck chassis from General Motors with a body that resembles a super-sized Caddy. Autoweek, however, has managed to extract new details from veteran Secret Service agents about the closely guarded presidential limo. Their methods, of course, are classified.
Designed to be a rolling office, bunker and escape pod all in one, the current presidential limo is far different from previous presidential state cars, which were heavily modified production vehicles. As we would expect, The Beast uses thick, military-grade body armor (eight inches on the doors), an armored fuel tank, special run-flat tires with Kevlar lining, an encrypted satellite phone, a fully sealed cabin with its own oxygen supply and a trunk full of weapons and medical equipment that includes a supply of the President's blood type (in case the car gets cut off from the ambulance that's always present in the President's motorcade).
The Beast also comes with a Halon fire-suppression system, night vision and is powered by a V8 engine, which we already knew runs on gas and not diesel, that returns an EPA-unfriendly estimated 3.7 miles per gallon. The Secret Service operates a fleet of 12 limos and each Beast costs $1.5 million. Lastly, AW estimates that the 18-foot-long state car weighs 15,000 pounds, and each Secret Service agent that drives the car must be specially trained to maneuver such a massive vehicle.

Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
