I purchased this from the second owner from what I was told by him is that he purchased the car from his friend the purchased it new and drive it very very little and then after his friend had pass on his wife called him and sold it to him and he and his wife drove it on the weekends and some beach trips. He told me the miles are org I can not verify the miles but it shows to be org 48000 miles my mechanic went thro the car and he service it and tuned it and change all fluids and the trans was slipping so it took it to the trans shop and I have a receipt showing that they rebuilt it the front ujoints and the rubber boots look good. The top works and the a/c is all there I think it needs charging but it take the old a/c charge. This is a head turning car it drives great and looks like a million dollars my kids love it. This car has no warranty other then the trans work that was done The car is being sold as is were is. No returns.The car will need a new dash cover and carpet and the back two side panels are the only thing that really needs to be recovered the interior is 40 years old but it is not rip up it may die and look good and top is slow going up and down. At the end of auction winning bidder must put a $1,000.00 deposit with in 24hrs and it is non-refundable and must pay for the car in full in seven days if not it will be relisted are sold out side of eBay. Cadillac ATS failing to command BMW 3 Series-like pricing as hoped
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The BMW 3 Series has long been the benchmark for small and sporty luxury vehicles, but the Cadillac ATS has come on strong in its short time on the market as a true rival in this segment. As impressive as Cadillac's new compact sedan is, however, Automotive News is reporting that the car is still lagging behind the 3 Series when it comes to actual transaction pricing.
According to the article, the average transaction price for the ATS is $39,459 while the 3 Series is at a much larger $44,764, but, just as importantly, Cadillac has about $500 more in incentives on the ATS compared to BMW. Transaction prices are much closer to cars like the Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4. Of course, this is all with the ATS trying to take on its small,sport sedan rivals with a single bodystyle and limited powertrain options compared to the numerous options available from the German automakers in this class.
This uneven battle won't last long, though, as recent spy shots have revealed that Cadillac is hard at work on a high-performance ATS-V and an ATS Coupe. No official word as to when either of these models will be unveiled, but with auto show season set to kick off, we're expecting sooner rather than later. The best news for the ATS is that the Automotive News says sales of the ATS are on target and that 74 percent of ATS buyers are new to Cadillac - two important factors for the brand as it tries to break into this tough segment.
Corvette's Performance Data Recorder headed to other cars, will Cadillac ATS-V be first?
Fri, 14 Nov 2014For 2015, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray gained a novel piece of high-performance technology: The Performance Data Recorder. This trick system combines video from a front-mounted camera with in-car data and GPS information to help drivers record and study their lap times, complete with data overlays. While it's a clever tool for track days, it's also finding popularity as a built-in dash cam of sorts. To this point, the technology has been a Corvette exclusive, but General Motors' executive vice president of global product development, Mark Reuss, has confirmed to Autoblog that it will soon be available in other vehicles.
At a media luncheon on Thursday, we asked whether GM was keen to expand usage of the technology to other models, and if we could expect to see something soon. Reuss coyly replied, "What's soon?" When we suggested the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V (which is scheduled to debut at next week's LA Auto Show), he replied, "There will be other uses, and it won't be that far away. How's that?"
Certainly not an outright confirmation, but we wouldn't be at all surprised to see the next high-po Cadillac roll under the klieg lights at the Los Angeles Convention Center next Wednesday brandishing more than just 450 horsepower.
