Clean Carfax and Autocheck

The Cadillac has some cosmetic flaws (look at pics) that I do not have time to fix! I already replaced the battery and the overheating issue.

The drivers door and passengers door need to be re-painted and the small glass on passengers door  (look at pic) needs replacing!

The interior of the Cadillac is clean and in great shape with no rips or tears on the leather.
the canvas black roof is in excellent shape with no rips, tears....

The Cadillac is fully loaded all power, doors, windows, locks, mirrors, seats, power steering.... airbags... ice cold ac and heat... anti-lock brakes, abs and traction control, cruise control ... it is missing the radio....

Engine and transmission seem to be working properly, its a 4.6L V8 North star,  and I have driven it on the freeway (as I said before-I fixed the overheating issue) but I am not a mechanic and this is a 16yr old Cadillac with 127k miles so there could be mechanical issues that i am unaware of.... for inspection call me at 323-509-9039

CALIFORNIA TAGS ARE GOOD UNTIL JULY / 2014!!!
I
bought this car from the local impound auction in Los angeles Ca, i do not have the time (as i have several cars) to invest in the car and make it "perfect" and bring out the true beauty of this iconic American vehicle so i want to sell it to someone who can make it the true gem it is!
I have the paperwork to transfer it to the new buyer ( it is clear title when you go register it), I did not register or title it to my name, so there is no registration or smog...

*** any dmv fees, registration fees, taxes and any other fees are responsibility of buyer *** the Vin #  is provided on the listing.

THIS IS A USED VEHICLE AND IS BEING SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS

GM recalling 2013 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX over transmission software

Thu, 21 Mar 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued recalls for the 2013 Buick LaCrosse and 2013 Cadillac SRX due to a problem with the software for the transmission controller. On about 27,000 SRX and LaCrosse models, the transmission could accidentally be shifted to Sport mode, which would reduce the amount of engine braking drivers experience.
NHTSA says this could increase the risk of a crash, but, fortunately, the required fix is simply an update to the software.
While we're on the subject of General Motors vehicle recalls, a small number (48) of compressed natural gas versions of the 2011 Chevrolet Express are also being recalled for a potential risk of fire or explosion. Yikes. Both official recall notices are posted below.

Next Cadillac CTS-V confirmed for Detroit

Tue, Dec 16 2014

As a car enthusiast, you should be excited for the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Hell, we can barely contain ourselves – it's shaping up to be a great show. And this bit of news only heightens our expectations – Cadillac will be bringing its third-generation CTS-V to January's North American International Auto Show. That bit of high-performance news has been confirmed to Autoblog by Cadillac officials. In fact, we've received an official invitation to the brand's press conference, and while the latter is light on information, it does say, "it's time for the V-Series to elevate to the next level." Considering our last experience with the CTS-V, we're not sure what there is left to elevate, although we're hopeful that Caddy will come up with something. What that could be, of course, is very open to speculation. When the last CTS-V debuted in 2009, it arguably outgunned Germanic challengers like the 500-hp BMW M5 and 518-hp Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG for a lot less money, boasting a detuned version of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1's 6.2-liter supercharged V8. Could that trend carry on, with the next CTS-V borrowing the supercharged, 650-hp mill from the new Corvette Z06? If escalation is the name of the game, the Z06 engine would seem to once again allow Caddy battle it out on firm, big-booted footing with BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Of course, all will become clear on the morning of Tuesday, January 13. Like we said, we can hardly wait. Related Video:

2017 Cadillac XT5 shows off its new metal in LA

Thu, Nov 19 2015

Cadillac is in the midst of a comprehensive production overhaul, and few of its new arrivals will be as pivotal as the new XT5. Replacing the old SRX, the XT5 was revealed in the metal here on the floor of the 2015 LA Auto Show. Joining the new CT6 under Caddy's new naming scheme, the XT5 represents GM's assault on German competition like the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes GLC, Japanese rivals like the Lexus RX, Infiniti QX50, and Acura RDX, and its own cross-town nemesis, the Lincoln MKX. And to better fend off their advances, the new XT5 promises marked improvements over its predecessor in every way. The model you see here is, to our eyes, handsomer than the model it replaces, adopting the Art & Science brand's latest design cues. It offers a fresh cabin space loaded with the latest equipment. And it weighs a solid 278 pounds less than the outgoing SRX. Power still comes from a 3.6-liter V6, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel drive. 310 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque keep it going, which ought to help it keep pace with the competition. We're looking forward to seeing how it drives in due course, but in the meantime, you're invited to view our live photos from the floor of the Los Angeles Convention Center in the gallery above.
