Springdale, Arkansas, United States
1959 CADILLAC COUPE DE VILLE, A GREAT CAR TO PLAY WITH. I HAVE HAD THIS CAR FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS AND HAVE ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH, I AM DOWM SIZING AND DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR IT. IT HAS NEW TIRES, AND AMERICAN RACING WHEELS, AND WE DID THE BRAKES WITH NEW BOOSTED, REBUILT CARB, WATER PUMP, HOSES, BELTS AND COMPLETE TUNE UP, WE DID A LOT OF WORK ON THIS CAR TO GET IT READY FOR THE ROAD, BUT I HAVE NOT DRIVEN THIS CAR MUCH IN THE LAST 2 YEARS, MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. IT WAS PAINTED A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO WITH SATIN AND FLAT CLEAR COAT, IT ALSO HAS A NEW DASH COVER , AND MOST OF THE INTERIOR WAS REDONE AND WE HAD THE SPEEDO REBUILT AND TURNED THE MILEAGE BACK TO 0, IT SHOWED LIKE 85,000 MILES WHEN THIS WAS DONE BUT THE SPEEDO WAS BROKEN WHEN I GOT THE CAR. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE CALL DON AT 479 236 5558, WE ARE LOCATED IN NORTH WEST ARKANSAS, ABOUT 90 MILES FROM TULSA. OKLAHOMA

Hotter Cadillac ATS-V+ could use LS7 power
Tue, May 26 2015Rumor has it Cadillac is working on an even hotter version of the ATS-V, possibly called ATS-V+. And the latest intel from Motor Trend suggests this new model might have a great, big V8 under the hood. The V8 in question is the high-revving, naturally aspirated 7.0-liter LS7 from the Camaro Z/28. The hand-built engine makes 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque in the Z/28 – a nice increase over the 464 hp and 445 lb-ft in the standard ATS-V, which uses a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6. Motor Trend says the ATS-V+ will come to market with an eight-speed automatic transmission, as well as the seven-speed manual 'box from the Corvette. A dual-clutch transmission will come to market later. Of course, we'll believe it when we see it. But an LS7-powered ATS-V sure sounds like a great package to us. Here's hoping.
Cadillac LTS flagship to bow at NY Auto Show
Wed, 06 Aug 2014There is widespread agreement across the industry that Cadillac needs a proper, rear-drive flagship sedan that completes legitimately with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8 and BMW 7 Series.
Fortunately, the same view is held within the company, and just such a car - possibly dubbed LTS - is under development. According to a high-level source at Cadillac, the new four-door, which is said to incorporate design cues from the marque's celebrated Elmiraj coupe concept, will debut at the New York Auto Show next April.
If the car needs a cheerleader, surely incoming president Johan de Nysschen is just such a person. De Nysschen doesn't arrive at Cadillac until late in the month, but certainly he will want a proper flagship to do battle with his old foes at Mercedes-Benz and BMW and old friends at Audi and Infiniti.
GM laying off 510 amidst slow Cadillac, small car sales
Wed, 12 Nov 2014General Motors is laying off about 510 workers from two factories beginning in January, and it could be months before the automaker needs some of that latent capacity to come back on line. A combination of poor sales and high dealer inventories are prompting the cutbacks, according to Automotive News.
The largest changes come at GM's Lansing Grand River plant, where the Cadillac ATS and CTS are made. An entire shift of about 350 workers is being laid off, but the automaker hopes to find positions for some of them at other nearby factories. The decision leaves just a single shift building vehicles there. According to Automotive News, the move is partially spurred by Johan de Nysschen's plan to make Cadillac a more exclusive brand.
The lost shift will likely return for production of the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro at the plant, according to the report, but GM isn't saying when that will be. A previous announcement from the Canadian Auto Workers union indicated that the Oshawa, Ontario, factory would lose the coupe in late 2015 or early 2016.
