Hi Up for grabs is 2001 Cadillac Deville. This car starts, runs and drives. I just put in a brand new battery with 20 months free replacement warranty.(Paid $115). It has fairly new Firestone Tires. It blows very Cold a/c. Heated seats all around. I do not know much about this vehicle as it was received as a form of payment of a debt. It may need a basic tune up as at idle it seems like not running on all cylinders. On the road at higher speeds runs like a champ and is very smooth ride. Sold as is where is. Buyer responsible for shipping. Deposit of $500 thru Paypal (non-refundable) due 24 hrs. after auction end. Additional $150 title reassignment fee due at title transfer. NJ residents to pay 7% sales tax. The title will be stamped as Tax paid. Vehicle must be picked up within 1 week of auction end. Otherwise a storage fee of $10/day applies. I can help with transportation within 100 miles radius of NJ 08844 for additional fee. We can list on central dispatch for attractive shipping rates. Listing costs $50 (central dispatch) but you will get much better price than here on ebay. Example TX to NJ $700-$800. NJ to VA $300-$350. Accepted payment methods: Paypal, bank check, cash. It is advised to come and take a look at this vehicle before placing a bid. Please do not bid unless you are serious about getting this vehicle. photo 488d3c93-eaf6-490c-b6a3-df6e93432282_zps1afd5e80.jpg photo 107_5966_zpse4fa3e96.jpg photo 107_5965_zps66689ed3.jpg photo 107_5964_zps87975712.jpg photo 107_5963_zpsd0936c52.jpg photo 107_5960_zps21fde987.jpg photo 107_5959_zpsfad50e0a.jpg photo 107_5958_zps7491460d.jpg photo 107_5957_zps6af09015.jpg photo 107_5956_zps1772af70.jpg photo 107_5955_zps48823c1a.jpg photo 107_5954_zps518f80e6.jpg photo 107_5953_zps4136f65a.jpg photo 107_5952_zpsc318823e.jpg photo 107_5951_zps3ee7a366.jpg photo 107_5950_zps75fd753a.jpg photo 107_5949_zps8875b0de.jpg photo 107_5948_zps872ce7c1.jpg photo 107_5947_zpsd0987578.jpg photo 107_5946_zps583af45b.jpg photo 107_5945_zpsd50fd46f.jpg photo 107_5944_zpse7b6d655.jpg photo 107_5943_zps8b8d2e63.jpg photo 107_5942_zps6f62d56a.jpg photo 107_5941_zpsbb8e0aa0.jpg photo 107_5939_zps2cc39f36.jpg photo 107_5937_zps066e27cf.jpg photo 107_5936_zps9bb03400.jpg photo 107_5935_zpsffcd6dec.jpg photo 107_5934_zps1a72ca9f.jpg photo 107_5932_zps5c260cf9.jpg photo 107_5933_zpsd9c5800e.jpg photo 488d3c93-eaf6-490c-b6a3-df6e93432282_zps1afd5e80.jpg photo 107_5967_zpsbb41e6af.jpg

De Nysschen says Cadillac will be ready for a $250,000 model in 15 years

Fri, Nov 21 2014

Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen has some very, very lofty goals for the American luxury car manufacturer. That's according to a new report from Reuters, where the former Audi and Infiniti exec says that Cadillac is only 15 years away from selling a $250,000 car. "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac," de Nysschen told Reuters at the LA Auto Show. "Fifteen years from now, it won't be." Now, provided de Nysschen doesn't envision a future of hyper-inflation, where an ATS rings up at $200K and a CTS at $225,000, the idea that Cadillac could sell a car worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars in just 15 short years is the very definition of ambitious. That's doubly true when you realize that, at present, Cadillac's most expensive vehicle is the Escalade ESV Platinum, which costs no more than $97,940, while de Nysschen said the upcoming CT6 sedan will be priced "in the 70s." What do you think? Could a Cadillac that costs well over twice as much as the brand's most expensive current vehicle be a reality in the distant future? Or is de Nysschen aiming too high too soon? Let us know what you think in Comments. News Source: ReutersImage Credit: Jae C. Hong / AP Cadillac Luxury cadillac ct6

A Kentucky man has converted his 1939 Dodge pickup to an electric vehicle. Al Gajda of Lexington built the electric truck, which he now uses as his daily driver. "I take advantage of any excuse to drive it; just banging around town, errands, short runs on the interstate, delivering my granddaughter to school in the morning," he says. It is powered by a lithium-ion phosphate battery, which is mounted in a wooden box on the truck bed, and gets about 100 miles per charge. Read more at the Lexington Herald-Leader. 2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 AWD

All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
