THIS AUCTION IS FOR MY '68 COUPE DEVILLE DROP TOP. THIS CAR HAS A BRAND NEW REBUILT 472 MOTOR. THE STOCK MOTOR WAS USED ON THE REBUILD. IT WAS PROFESSIONALLY REBUILT AND RUNS BEAUTIFULLY.I HAD DISC BRAKES INSTALLED TO REPLACE THE STOCK DRUMS. THIS CAR IS A TRUE JEWEL. IT IS PAINTED A POWDER BLUE AND IT HAS GANGSTER WHITE WALL TIRES. UPHOLSTERY WAS REDONE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. IT HAS FACTORY AIR ALTHOUGH I HAVENT HAD IT CHARGED OR TRIED TO USE IT DUE TO THE CONVERTIBLE. I REPLACED THE STEREO WITH A INDASH DISC /MP3 PLAYER WITH NEW MIDRANGE SPEAKERS IN FRONT AND REAR ALONG WITH DUAL 12" SUBWOOFERS IN THE TRUNK(W/AMP). THE TOP IS FAIR AND SERVES TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE COVER FOR NOW. IT IS AN AWESOME DAILY DRIVER AND CAN BE MADE SHOW WITH LITTLE EFFORT. I DO NOT WISH HELP TO SELL AND NO TIRE KICKERS PLEASE!! Cadillac teases production ELR ahead of Detroit Auto Show
Tue, 18 Dec 2012General Motors has just confirmed that the 2014 Cadillac ELR will make its official debut next month at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. We've already seen the ELR testing earlier this year using the same range-extended electric drive system as the Chevrolet Volt, and based on the shadowy image above, we're happy to see that the coupe's styling has stayed pretty true to 2009 Converj Concept.
The two-door ELR will be built alongside the Volt at GM's Detroit-Hamtramck plant starting later next year. Aside from this info, Cadillac has remained tight-lipped on the specific details of the car. But all that will all change on January 15.

Tue, Mar 22 2016Car Club USA heads to Sonoma, CA where the Gimp Pimp Cadillac and Aqua Volvo will take on all the crazy, sub-$500 competition at the 24 Hours of LeMons endurance race. "Over the last 30 years, car racing has gotten extremely serious and extremely expensive and it just seemed like there was a real need to make it accessible again," said LeMons founder Jay Lamm. The result is a series of endurance races across the US and Australia where all you need to join the fun is a junky car and some basic safety equipment. "It's just fun, compared to pro racing," said Wendy Epstein, driver of a 1979 Volvo 242 in bright "Aqua Volvo" livery. "24 Hours of LeMons is a form of racing that is designed to be cheap and easy, and anybody can do it," said Bill Manfroy, driver of the Gimp Pimp, a 1996 Cadillac SLS with some important modifications. "Part of what makes the Gimp Pimp Cadillac so special is that it does have hand controls, so it gives access to people like me that ordinarily get to race." "Which makes it perfect for LeMons."
