1967 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4dr Hardtop, with cruise, not many made. 7.0L 429 . MOTOR IS STUCK. have been putting marvel mystery oil and a 50/50 mix of atf and acetone throughout all cylinders. also have been squirting pb blaster in the top dead cylinder, it is the one with some rust as far as I can tell.. I have not pulled heads or intake..i have pulled the valve covers and poored mystery oil over the valve train and only 1 can of seafoam down the carb, all this has been sitting for a few months now, I am sure this motor would run with a little work.. I am selling this because I do not have the time or the space to work on this properly and hate to see it rot away it is a beautiful car. Interior is in awesome shape. dash and steering wheel are cracked, one hole in carpet, seats are 100% complete, with some of the piping a bit wore. the headliner is in amazing shape. has tilt/telescoping column. haven't found many with factory cruise. the body is really straight, the rear quarters are rusted thru but in a nice flat spot, the passenger front fender has some lower rust in a flat spot, there is a small amount of rust around the rear window, the trunk and floors are 100% solid. the rear splash pan has a slight tweak in it but should be easily fixable. the front crest V on the hood is broke in half and the mirror has been broke off.. the driver side rear quarter has a large graduale fixable dent. The car has been sitting in Kadoka SD for over 20 years. I have owned it for 5 months.. It was a pipe dream and I just can work on this car..my loss is your gain here.. car is worth much much more than the $500 im starting the auction at... I have been 100% honest about the condition from what I have found out about this car, if you have any more questions please feel free to ask me.. thanks this sale is PICK UP ONLY>>> I may be able to meet you within a few 100 miles of pierre SD. if you are willing to pay for some gas... thanks again

Former Cadillac boss Butler takes Ford tech job
Tue, 07 Jan 2014When Don Butler made the surprising decision to leave his post as Cadillac's VP of global strategic development, it was a surprise. Citing a desire to "recalibrate, reassess my priorities" in that August announcement, it wasn't entirely clear where Butler - a virtual General Motors lifer after spending nearly 30 years with the company - would end up. Turns out he took a trip to Dearborn.
Butler has taken a position in the newly created position of Executive Director of Connected Vehicles and Services at Ford, where he'll be responsible for the Blue Oval's global connectivity strategy. "Not only does Don understand the connected car landscape, but probably just as important, he understands customer expectations," said Raj Nair, who, as Group Vice President of Global Product Development, is Butler's new boss. "Having a leader with technology experience both inside and outside the industry is a rare combination - we're excited to have Don join our team."
As Ford has received its fair share of flak for the sometimes recalcitrant MyFord Touch infotainment system and its Sync voice-controls, it appears that Butler has his work cut out for him.
2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 AWD
Wed, 27 Feb 2013All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
Cadillac teases camo'd ELR ahead of Detroit debut
Tue, 08 Jan 2013With the 2014 Cadillac ELR being introduced next week at the Detroit Auto Show, General Motors has revealed another picture of its luxury range extended electric vehicle. Last month, we saw a dark, teaser photo showing some of the body detail for the electric coupe, but this recent photo shows the Cadillac in full camouflage testing in California back in September.
If this car looks familiar, it's because our spy shooters got a jump on GM by catching the car in action and providing pictures from all angles. There are still no official details for the ELR yet aside from the fact that it will share the Voltec system with the Chevrolet Volt, but we'll finally see the car unveiled in Detroit a week from today.
