Here is a very Nice 1959 Cadillac Sedan Series 62. This is a clean and solid car from the state of Oklahoma. Original Straight Body And Floors. No Patches anywhere! One excellent professional repaint in the original and Rare factory color combination of Beaumont Beige over Wood Rose Metallic. Very straight and solid body. Everything lines up great. Some of the pictures you can see that the trunk was open a little. I was in a hurry taking pictures because it was cloudy going to rain. Very solid underneath and all original. The interior is all original except for a new carpet and headliner. The dash has couple cracks. Nice steering wheel and original horn ring. No cracks in any of the glass although some have a little fogging. The chrome is nice and all original with typical pitting for its age. It has nice white wall tires. The engine compartment is well detailed. The Trunk has all of its original material and jack assembly. Its loaded with every available option some working and some not. This list of options are, Air Ride complete under the hood but changed to springs, Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Autronic Eye, Power Vent Windows, Power Trunk Release. The Wonder bar radio has the foot control switch on the floor. Other features are Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Antenna, Factory EZ Eye Glass. In all this is a very nice driver with a great paint job and factory color combination that you never see. It definitely draws attention.Its not a totally restored show car. Serious bidders only. Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers

Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.

GM recalling 2013 Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac SRX over transmission software

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued recalls for the 2013 Buick LaCrosse and 2013 Cadillac SRX due to a problem with the software for the transmission controller. On about 27,000 SRX and LaCrosse models, the transmission could accidentally be shifted to Sport mode, which would reduce the amount of engine braking drivers experience.
NHTSA says this could increase the risk of a crash, but, fortunately, the required fix is simply an update to the software.
While we're on the subject of General Motors vehicle recalls, a small number (48) of compressed natural gas versions of the 2011 Chevrolet Express are also being recalled for a potential risk of fire or explosion. Yikes. Both official recall notices are posted below.
