1957 Cadillac Sedan Deville, All Original Other Than Chrome 17"s, #'s Matching on 2040-cars
Malvern, Arkansas, United States
Very Rare 1957 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, Red/White exterior paint, red and white leather interior, 300 horsepower 365 Caddy V8, True Hardtop, HydraMatic transmission, aftermarket 17" chrome wheels and performance radials, ice-cold A/C
All original other than wheels and tires. Original paint, engine, tranny, and interior. Had a few chrome and trim pieces touched up over the years. Paint is excellent for the age with great color and depth. Has got some small bubbles, chips and cracks, but is FAR above average for a 57 year old car. Southern car, very clean underside. Door jambs and floor pans are great. Interior is great, overall the leather, carpets, etc are in very good condition. Interior controls all work as they should, other than the odometer, which hasn't functioned in a couple years. Air is ice-cold, power windows work, etc. Motor fires and runs excellent, very strong. Car drives excellent, can still run it down the road as fast as you want to go and feel safe doing it. This car draws attention everywhere it goes, never gets driven that someone doesn't come up and ask about it or take a look. Between the chrome, the fins, and the beautiful color combination, everyone loves it instantly. Selling it for a friend, who's owned it approximately 11 years. In that time, has proven very reliable. Can drive it anywhere today, and is a great road-trip vehicle. Has been well cared-for and will make a great car for it's next owner. Again, listing for a friend (the owner). Please call him with any questions at 501-six o seven-2388 Larry |

2018 Lincoln Navigator vs luxury SUV rivals: How it compares on paper
Wed, Nov 8 2017The all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator is an impressive, luxury-lined beast. However, while its Black Label interior stood out most during our first drive of the new Navigator, it also seemed pretty clear that much of this full-size SUV was superior to the competition in a number of fundamental ways. Its Raptor-sourced 3.5-liter V6 had class-leading power for one, and its third-row seat seemed as spacious and comfortable as its rivals' are cramped and barely usable. To search for your next new vehicle, try Autoblog' s Car Finder. Yet, I wanted to take a closer look at how the Navigator fully compares on paper to its competitors - especially the Cadillac Escalade with which it most directly competes. The below spreadsheet should tell the whole story, but as you can see, there's an awful lot of class-leading green highlighter in the Navigator's column. The cargo volume and third-row legroom numbers are particularly telling, with the latter actually going up to 42.3 inches when you slide the second-row fully forward. Now, a few things to note about the above spreadsheet. The GLS-Class is also available as the GLS 550, which boasts a 4.7-liter V8 that just comes up short to the Navigator with 449 horsepower but has to deal with only 5,578 pounds. Its $94,950 price tag is comparable to the Navigator Black Label. Much of the LX 570's information is also applicable to the Toyota Land Cruiser, which, badge aside, could certainly be considered a member of this segment given its feature content and still-hefty price tag. It has better ground clearance and approach/departure angles than its Lexus sibling, along with an as-indicated lower price. Much of the Escalade's information also applies to the GMC Yukon Denali, while the Infiniti QX80 is applicable to the Nissan Armada. 2015 Cadillac ATS sedan gets early reveal in making-of video
Mon, 30 Jun 2014Cadillac is apparently preparing to roll out a minor facelift for the ATS sedan - which we know not because General Motors has already revealed it or because we're looking at it in a fresh batch of spy shots (though we've seen that too), but because a behind-the-scenes video from the filming of its commercial has leaked out online. Which may be bad news for Cadillac, and even worse news for the film production company, but good news for us, because we get to see it ahead of schedule.
The revised sports sedan seems to be sporting a new front bumper and less egg-cratey grille with Caddy's new wreath-less badge at its center, all apparently put in place to bring the sedan more in line with the new ATS coupe.
We're sure Cadillac will be revealing the updated 2015 ATS sedan shortly, but you can scope it out right now in the video below. By way of comparison, we've included an image gallery of the current ATS, released back in 2013, as well.
2017 Cadillac XT5 will debut in Dubai
Tue, Sep 8 2015Cadillac confirmed the 2017 XT5 crossover – the replacement for the SRX – will officially debut at the Dubai Motor Show in November. The XT5 will then make its first North American appearance at the Los Angeles Auto Show later that month. The current SRX is a hugely important vehicle for Cadillac – it's still the company's best-selling product worldwide. But it's pretty old now, having launched in 2009 as a 2010 model. The XT5 will bolster all of the good things about the SRX while finally bringing that product up to date. Above, you can see a spy shot of what looks to be the new XT5, caught during a photo shoot. "The XT5 will be the cornerstone of a series of crossovers bearing the 'XT' designation," Cadillac said in a statement. We've long known that Cadillac wants to add a CUV between the XT5 and its flagship Escalade. But we think there's also room for something smaller – a proper fighter to the expanding entry-level luxury crossover segment that includes the Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW X1, upcoming Infiniti QX30, and more. We'll have more information on the 2017 XT5 this week. In addition to the auto show news, Cadillac confirmed it will have a few photos and details to share in the coming days. Stay tuned.
