THIS IS THE MOST SOLID AND ORIGINAL 1956 CADILLAC I HAVE EVER SEEN. THIS CAR STILL WEARS IT'S ORIGINAL PAINT EVERYWHERE!! ONLY THE HOOD HAS BEEN PRIMED TO KEEP IT RUST FREE. THE PAINT IS THIN EVERYWHERE ON TOP OF CAR. THERE IS LIGHT SURFACE RUST ON ROOF THAT WILL SAND OUT.
THE ENGINE RUNS A LITTLE RUFF AND NEEDS THE CARB CLEANED AND REBUILT. I ALREADY DID CLEAN THE FUEL TANK AND FUEL PUMP. I DROVE THE CAR IN MY DRIVE WAY ONLY.
THE BODY NEEDS ONLY BOTTOM QUARTERS AND LEFT ROCKER REPAIR. VERY EASY FIX! FRONT LEFT FLOOR HAS A SMALL 1 INCH HOLE. EVERYTHING ELSE IS NOT RUSTED TROUGH.
DOORS, HOOD, TRUNK LID, FRONT FENDERS TRUNK FLOOR ARE VERY NICE AND RUST FREE! CHROME ON FRONT BUMPER IS NICE ANOUGH FOR A DRIVER, REAR NEEDS RECHROME.
THE ENGINE COMPARTIMENT IS VERY NICE AND CLEAN FOR THE AGE OF THE CAR! ALMOST UNBELIEVABLE! ALL YOU SEE ON THE PICTURES IS ORIGINAL PAINT BUT THE HOOD!
LEFT DOOR WINDOW IS BROKEN BUT IT IS FLAT WINDOWS YOU CAN HAVE CUT NEW ANYWHERE THESE DAYS, INCLUDED IS A NICE DASH PAD IN THE TRUNK OF THE CAR WITH WINDOW HANDLES AND SOME SPARE PARTS.

2015 Cadillac Escalade on sale in April priced at $71,695*
Thu, 23 Jan 2014With the fourth-generation Cadillac Escalade set to go on sale in April, Cadillac has released the pricing data for its fullsize luxury SUV. While there's no retail configurator yet, the data posted on AOL Autos - and confirmed by Cadillac - shows that the 2015 Escalade will have a starting price of $71,695 (*not including $995 for destination).
This new starting price is about $8,000 more than the outgoing model, but Cadillac is quick to point out that the latest 'Slade is packed with more standard equipment in the new base Standard trim that actually puts it more on par with the midlevel Premium trim on the 2014 model (currently priced at $73,245). These new standard features include Magnetic Ride Control, LED headlights and taillights and 20-inch wheels.
Stepping up to the 2015 Escalade Luxury, the price increases to $75,695 and includes added equipment like 22-inch wheels, head-up display, power fold-and-tumble second-row seats and safety systems such as forward collision warning and lane departure warning. The top-rung 2015 Escalade Premium will start at $80,195 adding features such as a rear-seat entertainment system, illuminated exterior door handles and the Driver Assist Package consisting of front and rear automatic braking and adaptive cruise control.

Fri, Sep 4 2015Our favorite (and only) Autoblog-alum-turned-Motor Trend staffer is back with another Head to Head video, this time pitting the Cadillac ATS-V with the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. This performance machine shootout is ostensibly a way to figure out which of these new super sedans will earn the right to go toe-to-toe with the undisputed champion of its segment, the BMW M3. In reality, it's just a really good excuse to put three of the hottest sedans on the market on video at the same time... and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. Jonny Lieberman spends time in each of the two new challengers on the road, picking apart their powertrains, chassis and driving dynamics on the kinds of twisty roads drivers of these cars will relish. Then, he hands the keys off to Randy Pobst, who sort of acts as an unmasked version of a certain tame racing driver, except that he talks and has a personality. 0-60 and quarter-mile times are equated, braking performance is measured and scores are tallied before the two sport sedans end up at Willow Springs raceway. Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.
