2011 CADILLAC CTS –V COUPE RECARO SEATS

Bidding on a one of kind, thunder gray Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. This car was special ordered with every option available including panoramic roof RECARO SEATS and all other bells and whistles. Upon purchase from factory it came with 556 horsepower the engine has been slightly modified and horsepower has been increased to 637. Manufacture warranty has not been affected by modification so will still fall under original manufacture warranty. Upgrades included: a cold air intake, a Corsa Exhaust…make the car sound identical to a Ferrari, Headers, Red Brembo Brake Calipers, which were installed by the dealership. Also, front hood scoop has a Carbon Fiber Vinyl Wrap, as well as Rear Trunk Deck, both of which can be easily removed. Car is a 10 out of 10 and has 8,859 miles, and was only serviced by the dealer for oil changes. Car is in Excellent Condition inside…please see multiple photos. I have the original windows sticker which is over $72,000 dollars and all upgrades where in excess of $13,000 dollars. This car was used as a third vehicle, it was hardly ever driven. It is kept in a Climate Control Garage, and was usually only driven at night. It was hardly ever in the sunlight or affected by sunlight. It is an Automatic Transmission but does come with a paddle shift on the steering wheel. There has been no paint work, no accidents or any damage to vehicle ever. I am the original owner.

South Dakota dealer filled to brim with classic cars

Other than the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Mount Rushmore, South Dakota isn't generally a hot topic, but that just means that cool stuff can hide in the open waiting to be discovered. Case in point: the classic car dealer Frankman Motor Company that operates three locations in Sioux Falls, SD.
Unearthed by the folks at Bring a Trailer, Frankman is a treasure trove of vintage, American iron. Their collection is full of the type of vehicles your irresponsible but cool uncle would show up with when you were a kid. Even better, these cars are priced at a level a working man can afford.
If you are lusting about a cruiser then Frankman has a 1956 Cadillac Deville Hard Top Sedan (pictured right) with 82,896 miles for $12,975. It's painted a color called Cascade Grey, but looks more like a pastel purple in pictures. While it needs some repairs to the accessories, the Caddy runs and drives, which is all you really need.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

A decade or so after Ford tried to swipe some US-market sales from European luxury marques by selling the German-built Ford Scorpio with Merkur badging, General Motors opted to sell the German-built Opel Omega luxury sedan as a Cadillac. The Catera was a reasonably nimble rear-wheel-drive sedan with a 200-horse DOHC V6 engine, and its badge-engineered nature made it a much less costly gamble than, say, the Cadillac Allante, which had its bodies built in Italy and flown to Michigan for assembly. Unfortunately, it had no manual transmission option, and Americans who remembered the miserable US-market Opels of the 1970s were put off by the Catera's Opelness. Its $29,995 list price was quite a bit cheaper than that of the (slightly less powerful) $39,800 BMW 528i and a bit less than the (slightly more powerful) $33,585 Acura 3.2 TL's cost, but the Catera didn't sell in large numbers. This one made it to a respectable mileage figure, and the nice interior shows that it was well-cared-for during its 18 years on the road. The ads for the Catera featured a cartoon duck named Ziggy. Fast, fun, fiendishly flexible! By 2000, Cadillac had ditched the duck and was touting the Catera's value. Related Video:
