2011 CADILLAC CTS LUXURY EDITION
Purchased from salvage insurance auction. I don't have time to fix this right now. No blown air bags, but light is on. Needs hood, l. headlight, l. fender, front bumper assembly, radiator, condenser, and fans. Left frame rail looks repairable. Emergency person must have cut the battery cables (see picture). I hooked my jumper box to them and got the miles. Car has sunroof, but can't tell about the navigation. Could not start. Wiring to ecm has some damage, ecm looks ok. Don't see any suspension damage. Aluminum engine cradle has a small place where the radiator sits, but is very repairable. I did pull the bumper bar out with my rollback to get a better look at the damage. I am up front and honest when I describe these cars. If this one doesn't sell, I'll fix it myself. Looks like an easy one. All the parts are available aftermarket from Certifit and cheap. I am a Georgia dealer, so if you are a Georgia resident I will have to charge sales tax.
I can assist with loading at my location. I can possibly haul the vehicle to you if you are not a long haul, for a fee.

Cadillac boss: Don't ask why we have so many sedans
Tue, Dec 1 2015Ugh, crossovers. Car-based, high-riding station wagons, for some reason, sell in absurd numbers and make automakers lots and lots of money. That's why automakers with a strong lineup of CUVs are running strong, while sedan-heavy brands are struggling. Cadillac is all too aware of this fact. While the company is preparing to launch the new CT6 luxury sedan, it's also realizing four sedans, a coupe, a crossover, and a $73,000, old-school, body-on-frame SUV does not a healthy lineup make. Worse, though, as Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen rued during the LA Auto Show, is that the new CT6 is joining a segment already oversaturated. While it's a big, expensive vehicle, it's not much bigger or more expensive than the CTS and XTS sedans. "Please don't ask me why we have three cars in the same segment," de Nysschen said, stopping midway through an interview with Automotive News on the CT6's market placement to make the crack. "That's a whole different subject." As for those CUVs, the new XT5 debuted in LA, and it will eventually be joined by another much-needed CUV in 2018, AN reports. Related Video:
Is Cadillac working on an ELR-V? [w/video]
Mon, 12 May 2014Could it be? Could Cadillac be working on an even higher-end version of its ELR plug-in hybrid? Well, General Motors' Executive Vice President Mark Reuss has gone on record as... well, not saying much. The exec was more than a bit coy on video (which you can view below) when asked about the idea of an ELR-V, although he did say that Cadillac was looking at "expanding the tuning envelope" for its plug-in coupe. What that means could be hinted at in these spy photos.
Cadillac is certainly up to something with this little red ELR. As is often the case, it's the car's enhanced brakes that give it away. Bigger binders are a telltale sign of sportier aspirations, and it's safe to say that rule applies with the ELR. The larger rotors and four-piston Brembo calipers are sourced from the Buick Regal GS, which we imagine would be plenty to bring the high-priced hybrid to a halt.
Obscuring those rotors and calipers are larger, double-armed five-spoke wheels. And, according to our spies, hiding behind that camouflage is a new grille. Outside of those two items, though, there's not much aesthetic change.
Cadillac may not build Elmiraj coupe
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Despite the fact that most everyone who has laid eyes on the Cadillac Elmiraj concept coupe loves it, General Motors insiders are still trying to prove the business case to build the car. And it's certainly not a guarantee.
"I want to see this car go into production badly. Very badly," Ed Welburn, GM's Global Head of Design, told Autoblog. But the Cadillac design studio is busier than it's ever been before, and the company is working on prioritizing which cars deserve to get the billion-dollar price tag needed to research and develop a new model.
