For Sale is a Fully Loaded 2006 Cadillac CTS-V.  This is a rare car as they only produce a limited number every year.  This car is a BEAST, it sounds amazing, its super fast, and really fun to Drive.  All this performance with the ride quality of a cadillac, smooth and quiet.  The pluses are it comes with a top of the line aftermarket warranty from warranty direct which is fully transferable and stays with the VIN of the car for the two years or 100,000 miles.  The warranty is full bumper to bumper powetrain and has $0 deductible.  The only thing it doesnt cover is wear and tear but you are in luck because the tires, battery, clutch, and flywheel has all been replaced as of December 5th 2013.  So you are buying this car with complete peace of mind.  It doesnt make any weird sounds or rattles, and has absolutely no mechanical problems.  It is so fast it does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds and does the 1/4 mile in 13 flat.  The only upgrades are aluminum foot pedals and UUC short shifter.  When i got the car the shifting was loose and obnoxious, but now it is tight and smooth, it was a necessary upgrade.  There are a few minor dings but the paint is in great shape.  If you are a car enthusiast you would know that this is a great car for the money, when you compare similar cars in the same class and price range this car is a steal especially knowing that you have peace of mind that you wont need to replace any parts for a very long time.  This car is perfect, if you want to test drive it or see any videos of it, the way it drives or sounds shoot me an email.  There is no doubt in my mind this car will last well over 200,000 miles.   In terms of the accidents its been in it was only body, and it was all replaced with original parts, one accident i was T-boned at a light so it was just the two driver side doors that was damaged, nothing under the hood.  The second accident was cause when i Valet my car and they didnt put the ebrake on and my car slowly slid back into another car so it ended up with a scratched up bumper, which was repaired and looks brand new.  Nothing major like i said the car is perfect i take pride in everything i own and would not sell a product that wasnt high quality.   Good Luck bidding and remember you dont see theses cars every day for sale as a matter of fact i searched the whole internet and only found 1 for sale in the whole United States. It is listed for $22,934 and it doesnt come with a warranty and brand new wear and tear parts. 2016 Cadillac CTS-V First Drive [w/video]

Fri, Jul 31 2015

A million insects lost their lives today. Boxelder bugs and mayflies making the ultimate sacrifice in Elkhart Lake, their carapaces no buffer against a rocketing rectangle of safety glass. Their bodies gorily streaking into spangles along the diamond-faceted face of the Cadillac CTS-V. Road America is a four-mile ribbon of pavement snaking its way through the emerald center of the country's northern heartland. Since the 1950s it's seen uncountable fields of diverse racing machinery rocket over its hills and around its 14 corners. I would imagine that on those occasions the tramping of onlookers and hubbub of vehicles, both competitive and commonplace, would dissuade a great number of our six-legged friends from making their way onto the track. But today it's just me turning laps. Inconceivably just one journalist, driving the baddest roadgoing Cadillac ever made, on one of the loveliest circuits America has ever carved out. So big-winged bugs made it out to me in a vast array and a tragic sum, and I drilled through them oblivious to anything but one of the greatest days of driving I've ever had. Cadillac has turned its CTS-V from a performance sedan to a monster. For 2016 Cadillac has turned its CTS-V from a performance sedan to a monster worthy of the carnage described above. The words "epic" and "awesome" are hilariously overused on the Internet, but in the case of the CTS-V's 6.2-liter supercharged V8, their literal meanings are fitting. The capacity to produce 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque is astounding. Feeling those outputs come to growling life under my foot arch, uncorks different reactions in my brain as the day wears on: first trepidation, next cautious optimism, finally red-eyed bloodlust. A glance at the power and torque curves will show you that the charged V8 behaves more like a naturally aspirated thing than a turbo'd on/off switch. Peak torque arrives at 3,600 rpm, horsepower at 6,400, giving the engine lovely, linear power delivery. Even with top torque happening near the middle of the tach, there's no small amount of the stuff when the engine first spins up, so launching all 4,145 pounds of Detroit iron still feels exotic. Launching all 4,145 pounds of Detroit iron still feels exotic. On the roads around Wisconsin, using all of the available power is hardly advisable, but I have no trouble driving this fast car slowly (sort of).

Cadillac's Butler announces surprise departure

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Cadillac's vice president of global strategic development, Don Butler, has resigned. Butler has held the position since April, after a term as vice president of US marketing for General Motor's luxury brand.
As the report explains, the timing here is pretty unfortunate for Cadillac. Butler is the third high-profile member of Cadillac's brass to depart in recent months, following the firing of US sales boss Chase Hawkins and the pending departure of Susan Docherty. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told the Detroit paper, "Bob [Ferguson]," global boss for Cadillac, "and other leaders asked him to stay on. Don's here in the office today - and told our team that his decision is purely on a personal level. After three years of putting everything into Cadillac, he is stepping away for some personal time, and to consider new avenues in his life."
Butler says his decision is part of a decision to "recalibrate, reassess my priorities." Whatever the reason, it's an unpleasant surprise for Cadillac, which has been on a surge in 2013, with 30-percent jump in sales on the heels of the hot-selling ATS.

Cadillac launching crossover-heavy product offensive

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Utilizing information provided by Cadillac suppliers, Reuters says that Cadillac is preparing two more crossovers that will bow after its current product initiative is complete. According to the report, a year after the next SRX arrives in 2016, a pair of CUVs will be unveiled that will bracket it in size, and they'll be headed for the US and Chinese markets.
That is years away, though. For now, the company's attentions are on the nearly here CTS and ELR range-extended coupe, the next Escalade SUV (shown above), an ATS coupe, and the range-topper that will sit above the XTS. That, and possibly an even more impressive range-topper that promises to be the mean and majestic super-luxe unicorn Cadillac we've been dreaming about for more than a decade now.
In response to the issue of how German crossovers might be having an impact on Cadillac's future plans, a company source said - rightly, we think - "we don't need to duplicate the Germans." That doesn't mean, however, that it can't wade deeper into a market segment that the Germans are making a ton of money in. In fact, and since everyone is doing it, we'd be surprised if Cadillac didn't, even if it won't happen for another four years.
