I have my 2005 Stealth Grey 6 speed CTS-V for sale. The car currently has 123,xxx miles on it. I am the third owner and have owned the car since 11/2012. I have put approximately 7,000 miles on the car, since I have owned it. Since I bought the car, I have performed the following mods and maintenance:

- Changed oil every 3,000 miles
- Flushed coolant
- Machined brake rotors
- Buffed headlghts
- Installed Black OEM Cadillac 18x8.5 wheels with Nitto 555 tires (245/45/18 (f), 275/40/18 (r)). The tires have ~50% tread left
- Installed H&R lowering springs (I have the MM spacers for the rear shocks, but they are not installed)

All this work was performed at AMS performance, where I work. I have complete service records from the 2nd owner which show that the following work has been done to the car:

- Replaced water pump
- Replaced motor mounts

The car is in excellent shape the for miles. The exterior is very clean. There are dime sized paint chips on either side of the grill on the vertical face of the hood as well as some small (1/8" or smaller) chips in the bumper and tops of the fenders. There is a scratch on the right rear quarter panel also. Other than that, the car is very clean. There are no door dings at all, and the paint is in great condition. There is some swirl in the paint, but nothing a good polish won't fix. All of the wipers, mirrors, windows, locks, lights, and defrosters work perfectly. The wheels are powdercoated black and have no imperfections.

The interior is also in extremely good shape. All of the lights, gauges, seat adjustments, climate controls and other switches work. Some of the paint has started to rub off of the seat memory and sun roof buttons. This is a very common problem for these cars. All the leather is in near perfect condition. There are no stains or tears. The C pillar covers have broken on both sides and now hang down. This again is a very common problem for these cars. The trunk is spotless and has the factory cargo net, which is very convenient. The factory radio/navigation unit has been replaced with a Panosonic radio/CD/navigation touch screen unit. The navigation is very good and the sound quality is great. The unit has a 6" touch screen that flips down to allow CDs to be installed. The mechanism that flips the screen back up is broken, but the screen easily goes back into place if you help it back up. The passenger side airbag light has been on since I bought the car. I have never looked into the issue.

Mechanically the car is in near perfect shape. The differential doesn't whine at all (big problem on these cars), the g-meter didn't read over 1g in either direction when I purchased the car from the second owner and the front brake calipers are still silver (meaning the car has never been on a road track). The clutch engages without any issues, and the car tracks straight. The car pulls like it should under WOT, and the brakes engage with a firm pedal and no vibrations.

I am selling the car because I am moving to Atlanta at the end of July and I will no longer need two cars. I am asking $14k OBO. Please call or text at 615-579-5873. The car is located in the loop, but I work in West Chicago, so I can meet anywhere along 290, 55, or 90 between West Chicago and the loop after 5pm.

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe priced from $37,995*

Thu, 15 May 2014

Cadillac has released pricing details on its new-for-2014 ATS Coupe. The new model, which will be available with buyer's choice of a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter V6 (the ATS Sedan's base 2.5 won't be making the trip) can be had with optional all-wheel-drive in place of the standard rear-wheel setup, while customers can also snag a six-speed manual or six-speed auto.
Prices start at $37,995, which represents a $2,900 premium over the 2014 ATS Sedan (pricing on the 2015 four-door isn't available yet) with the same 2.0-liter engine. Still, the ATS Coupe starts at just over $2,500 less than a base BMW 428i, which is also less powerful and offers less standard equipment. The Caddy is also less costly than the Mercedes-Benz C250 Coupe, although only by about $200. It's even cheaper than the Audi A5, which starts at $38,105, but that model includes all-wheel drive as standard. It should be noted that these prices are without their respective destination charges (*$995 for the Caddy, $925 each for the BMW and the Mercedes and $895 for the Audi).
Unfortunately, Cadillac hasn't released any additional pricing information beyond what we have here, so we can't tell you how much things like all-wheel drive, an automatic transmission or the 321-horsepower V6 will cost. That makes it difficult to figure out just how reasonable the ATS Coupe will be relative to its challengers, but so far, the value equation looks to be in the car's favor. When those full details roll in, though, you know where to look. Scroll down for the official press release from Cadillac.

Cadillac XT3 caught covered in copious camouflage

Wed, Feb 15 2017

While a bit difficult to tell thanks to the impressive camouflage used, what we're looking at here is likely the upcoming Cadillac XT3. There are a few details that stand out to lend credence to this prediction. There are a handful of sharp angles scattered throughout that are in line with Cadillac's modern design language. Specifically in the LED running lights and on the side mirrors. The rear profile also is reminiscent of the current, and slightly larger XT5. The rear lights extend into the D-pillars, which would match the current Escalade. We get a pretty clear picture of the rear suspension on this XT3. It's clearly an independent rear suspension using coil springs. While General Motors uses independent suspension on some of its crossovers, we can't quite match it to a particular model. We believe that if the XT3 is based on an existing model (which it almost certainly is), the platform and suspension have been substantially modified. The XT3 could use a version of the D2XX platform that underpins the Buick Envision. However, we know from a previous report that the XT3 will likely be built at the factory that produces the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Malibu. The XT5 uses a modified version of the LaCrosse/Malibu platform, so it's possible the XT3 could use a shorter version of the XT5 chassis. Depending on how small the XT3 ends up being, it might even share a platform with the Chevy Trax and Buick Encore. However, considering their economy car roots and torsion-bar rear suspension, we think that's the least likely. Regardless of what chassis is underneath its crisp bodywork, we expect the XT3 to be released sometime next year. Related Video:

All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
