This is a 1973 buick apollo odometer reads 61,655 miles car has been sitting in a garage since the early 90's with tons of upgrades including. front stub from a 1979 pontiac trans am to make it front steer, has the trans am front disc brakes tilt steering column,;sway bars ect... has a built buick 430 big block with less than 1,000 miles after being completely redone. mild cam performer edelbrock intake, large tube headers, hooker aero chamber mufflers, 850cfm holley street avenger the list goes on. transmission is a 700r4 that has the same miles as engine with a shiftkit. , has an all metal hood that has been fabricated with the ram air scoops from a 1971 buick gs steel hood and has functioning air intake for ram air. the body is in pretty good shape and is orginal no fillers, trunk pan and floors are very good, trunk pan does have surface rust has some rust on lower rear quarters that is shown in photos.. the interior is in decent condition, driver quality, new carpet and headliner, missing some small parts and front seat needs recoverd. has ion 17 inch wheels with pretty much new tires. if you have any questions please call me 515-559-7247 will take to local transporting if necessary

Buick Verano to go turbo-only for 2014?
Sat, 22 Dec 2012If VIN tags recently posted online prove accurate, the 2014 Buick Verano may be getting a new base engine. Presently the Verano makes use of GM's 2.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine in non-turbo trim; 2014 documentation appears to indicate that GM's entry-level luxury compact will instead feature a 1.6-liter turbocharged mill.
If this is the same engine seen in Europe, GM Inside News suggests it may offer 192 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque - useful improvements over the larger naturally aspirated mill's 180 hp and 171 lb-ft. More importantly, the downsized engine would likely improve on the Verano's current fuel mileage estimates of 21 city and 31 highway.
We like the Verano in both of its current iterations, but the 1.6 turbo engine sounds like a worthwhile upgrade if this reports turns out to be true. Plus, if more performance is your bag, baby, there's always the Verano's optional 2.0 turbo engine with an impressive 250 horsepower and 260 lb-ft from just 2.0 liters of displacement.

2020 Buick Encore, Encore GX set for Shanghai debut
Tue, Apr 2 2019Buick says it will debut the all-new 2020 Encore small crossover and new-for-China Encore GX compact crossover at the Buick Brand Night April 15 in Shanghai on the eve of Auto Shanghai 2019. They'll join the updated 2020 LaCrosse and LaCrosse Avenir sedans, which GM is discontinuing here in the U.S. Buick released a darkened teaser image of both vehicles in rear three-quarters view, though it's a little hard to tell which is which (we're going with the GX being the one on the right). It suggests the Encore gets more streamlined taillights that taper along the rear liftback, with some redesigned creases on the door panels and haunches. The latter don't appear to be present on the Encore GX, which Buick says is a new addition to the model series in China. Both will be offered with GM's new nine-speed Hydra-Matic and continuously variable transmissions, plus what Buick says will be "enhanced connectivity," including new technologies. They'll join the Envision and Enclave for China, which is Buick's largest market. First introduced in 2013, The Encore was last refreshed for 2017. It has been the top-selling Buick model in the U.S. for the past 3 years, with 93,073 sold last year, up 5.7% from 2017.
