This is a 1971 Buick Skylark GS Clone. I have been building the car for about a year and found another car so I have no use for this one anymore. Run, drives perfect and is inspected and on the road.
Specs:
350 with a 3 speed automatic
What's been done:
Motor is rebuilt and has about 2,000 miles on it
Car has been sandblasted down to bare metal removing all previous bondo and paint. Car has been primed and needs some bondo work to fix small dents and imperfections.
Brand new flowmaster exhaust
New gauges
New Battery
Has brand new wheels and tires with 50 miles on them
New break lines and sway bar arms
Newer carpet and brand new headliner (not installed)
What needs to be done:
Needs to be put back together (fenders, hood and passenger door)
Finish bondo
Paint
Very complete car with no rust on the frame, wouldn't take to much to finish if you're a body/paint person.
Please e-mail if interested or have questions.
Thanks!

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
