I am selling a 1967 Buick Special Coupe that I bought from a friend of mind who was experiencing some financial troubles. This car has the original Buick 300 engine and 350 transmission. This is an AC car (only missing the compressor) Interior is really nice and the body is in great shape for its age. Car looks to have been restored as far as paint, interior, and vinyl top. This Car runs great. Could use a Master cylinder for the brakes, because brakes are what I call "weak". The Car stops fine it just seems like it should be a little stronger. It also has a little exhaust leak on the right side of the engine. Having said that, the car stills runs pretty good, and the transmission shifts as it should. The floors, quarters, and trunk are in great shape. Someone sprayed a black liner in the trunk that looks ok, but it could have been prepped a little better. All the panels are original and the doors and door jams are unmolested and are in great shape with no rust. All the lights work, including the dash. All the chrome and paint shines. If this car was a 67 Chevelle it would be around 12-13 grand easy. I know this because I am a Chevelle guy who has owned several of them. this Car will be sold with a GA Bill of Sale and a Tag Receipt. In the state of Georgia that is all that is needed for Cars pre-1986. I am pretty sure that if your state requires a title there are companies out there that can point you in the right direction. Buick shows US dealers 2016 Cascada convertible
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The affordable four-seat convertible has become a largely forgotten genre in the States, especially with the death of the Chrysler 200 Convertible. Of course, there are still premium options from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz - not to mention more overtly performance-oriented droptop pony cars from Chevrolet and Ford - but if you want an affordable cruiser, you're kind of out of luck. That may be about to change, however, with renewed rumors of the Opel Cascada (pictured above) making it across the Atlantic wearing a Buick badge.
According to GM Inside News, Buick showed off the Cascada to US dealers last week, with renewed word that the company plans to bring it over from Europe for the 2016 model year. The US version will reportedly be practically identical to its German cousin in terms of styling, but the powertrain underneath is less certain. According to GMI, it may use the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that is available in Europe with either 168 horsepower or 197 hp.
The Cascada rides on GM's Delta II platform, which also underpins the Verano, and the latest rumor certainly provides even more evidence that the convertible is probably on the way. Speculation about the droptop started when GM CEO Dan Akerson said last year that the car was on his wish list to bring over. Then, the US trademark on the name was reserved earlier this year, and the release was speculated for sometime in early 2016.
