New Baby forces sell of my Buick Skylark Convertible. I've only owned it for 2 years and have had some real good times in this car, now she's just sitting in storage in San Diego collecting dust, so I'm considering selling it if the price is right! (I'm using pictures that were taken on my mobile phone during some of the fun adventures, please don't ask for more pics, car is in San Diego and I can't take specific pictures but hope these give you a good idea of the vehicle condition)

Description:
This Buick has the original matching numbers 4.9L 300 cubic inch V-8 in it, RUNS GREAT, gets 17+MPG! Miles are 67k Original. I have driven this car from Colorado to Vegas, Vegas to Lake Havassu to Joshua Tree to San Diego and other places in the heat of the summer with no problems ever. Car needs new exhaust system due to snagging it on a driveway and breaking it free (SHE'S LOUD NOW). Body and paint are decent and get lots of compliments but by no means is she laser straight or perfect, (NOT A SHOW CAR) one ding above drivers side tail-light, no rust on body but there is surface rust (minimal) on the frame and undercarriage of the vehicle. The interior is decent but not perfect and the original top definitely will need to be replaced! Bumpers need straightened and re-chromed. All around she's a nice car and ready to go anywhere for a good time, but will need to be restored to bring back to perfect condition!

News anchor swaps his Roadmaster for a custom Buick Enclave Woody

Wed, Jul 10 2019

Dennis House, self-proclaimed car buff and Connecticut news anchor, thinks that with the impending launch of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, woodies will make their grand return to the car scene in modern fashion. House wanted to get ahead of the potential trend and decided to create a one-of-one woody wrap for his Buick Enclave. On the rear quarter panel of the custom SUV, an aftermarket badge reads "Enclave Estate Wagon." It's a direct call back to one of the vehicles that has inspired House's love of wood-paneled family haulers, the Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. House owns two Roadmasters, a black 1996 model and a 1995 woody. In making room for the Enclave, House has decided to sell the '96, which looks spotless and only has a bit more than 71,000 miles on the clock. According to GM Authority, who spotted House's Enclave, the look was achieved with a vinyl wrap. After exploring the idea of a first-gen Enclave woody or a Regal TourX woody, House decided the application worked best on a current Enclave. The mock-ups were done on the computer, and Scranton Cadillac Buick GMC completed the work. The wrap starts just beneath the headlights and wraps around the entire vehicle. Furthering the theme, House took a photo of the woody with a surfboard. For now, the woody look is not a factory option, but House hopes General Motors takes notice and considers offering the choice on future models. If not, just take your ride to Scranton Motors, and they could probably help you out.            View this post on Instagram                   What a cool new 2019 Buick Enclave for CT’s own Dennis House! Movie Review: Black Air: The Buick Grand National Documentary

Thu, 06 Dec 2012

As Buick currently claws and scratches its way back into relevance to compete against luxury brands like Lexus and Acura, it's hard to believe that not too long ago, the brand had a car that was mentioned in the same breath as Corvette, Lamborghini and Ferrari. That car? None other than the Buick Grand National. All black with a turbocharged V6 and some of the quickest acceleration of its time, the Grand National, in today's standards, is along the lines of a 2013 Shelby GT500 with both cars essentially being a working man's supercar.
The last Grand National rolled off the assembly line in Flint, MI on December 11, 1987, and to mark the silver anniversary of that somber occasion, Black Air is a documentary of the Grand National from the perspective of the enthusiast, the collector, the media and even from those at General Motors responsible for creating such a sinister legend. Like the car itself, Andrew Filippone Jr. shoots the documentary in a raw fashion, and it definitely helps to show why a low-volume muscle car from the 1980s is still the object of obsession for many automotive enthusiasts to this day.
