Absolutely the best car I have ever owned. I bought this car in 2002 with 73,000 miles on it. It has been a great driver with low maintenance costs. I have too many cars with another on the way. I need to make room. The local Recycle Yard will give me $400 for the car.
Interested ??? Send me a message and I'll post more pics and details.
Ok, Roadie fans. Messages received, more info...
Engine - Runs great. Quiet, no leaks. It's the 5.7 throttle body engine... very reliable (more so, than the LT1).
Transmission - Shifts fine, no leaks. It's the 4L60. The lock-up torque converter began to shudder a few thousand miles ago. I disconnected it.
Rear axle - No issues.
I installed a Class 3 hitch and an electric Brake Controller many years ago before I bought my Chevy Suburban. I towed a car trailer maybe a dozen times or so.
Power EVERYTHING on this car WORKS........Windows, Locks, Mirrors, Seats, Cruise, Trunk Release........even the Power Antenna.
Heat is HOT.........AC is COLD.
I've stayed with UNIROYAL tires... same as the factory. I don't think the spare tire has ever been on the ground.
........before I forget... I have ALL the side moldings from car. They are cleaned up and I have a roll of 3M tape to reinstall.
I will post more PICS as soon as possible.
What would make me give up my Roadie.........a pampered 2004 Buick Park Avenue from my older Brother. Love my Buicks.
05-22-13 Outside pics added.......
After 21 years, the paint is going away. The right rear quarter panel has rust issues. The power antenna water drains here... so, what a surprise. Just recently, the paint on the hood has started to peel.
05-23-13 Interior pics added.......
Interior - The factory velour interior is very soft. It does need a good cleaning. There are no rips, tears or holes in the seats... only light wear. The material around the rear glass is deteriorating from sunlight and moisture. I think the rear glass needs to be resealed.
Trunk - Water leaks into the trunk. I think it is from around the rear glass. Note the rust spots in the trunk pic. When I first noticed water in the trunk, I took out the trunk liner and spare cover. They are in great shape. I never got around to fixing the leak.
Also included with the car is the GM Service Manual.
Thanks for looking.

GM recalls 500K Chevy Camaros for ignition-switch defect
Fri, 13 Jun 2014General Motors issued a recall for more than a half million Chevrolet Camaros on Friday morning because of an ignition-switch safety hazard that mirrors the one at the center of the company's current crisis.
The problem affects Camaro models from the 2010 to 2014 model years. Approximately 464,712 cars are impacted in the United States, and 511,528 overall in North America. GM will alter the Camaro key to a more standard design, and will notify car owners with a recall notice in the mail.
In an announcement, the company said the ignition switches on the Camaros are fundamentally different parts than the older ignition switches found on defective cars that are responsible for killing at least 13 people and causing 54 crashes.
The new Opel Insignia might be a great Buick, but it's a sad Holden Commodore
Thu, Dec 8 2016Since the first shots of the uncovered Opel Insignia hit our inboxes, we've been filled with excitement for the new sedan. It looks great, it should come to America with little to no visual changes as the Buick Regal, and we might even get a wagon version. Unfortunately, there's a lead lining to this silver cloud, and it comes to us from Down Under. You see, the Opel Insignia is also undergoing a re-badging job in Australia to become the new Holden Commodore. It's replacing the beloved rear-drive Commodore (with an optional V8 and ultra-high performance HSV variants) with a front-drive-based platform offering four- or six-cylinder engines. This is depressing news considering the Zeta-platform underpinning the Commodore VF spawned the Pontiac G8, Chevrolet SS, and fifth-generation Camaro. Knowing this was going to happen doesn't help much either. What makes it all worse is that the new Commodore doesn't have a shred of unique styling in the bodywork. That's not an exaggeration. A new grille with a Holden lion badge instead of an Opel lightning bolt badge is the only change. See for yourself in the Insignia gallery below. Not only did GM erase a unique Australian model, it didn't even allow the brand to give the car a distinct shape. It's sort of like when Ford planned to replace the Mustang with the Mazda-derived Probe. The Probe wasn't that bad for the time, but it was no Mustang. At least in that case the Mustang survived. View 12 Photos Before we get ourselves too down, we should mention that there are reasons to be hopeful for the future. For one thing, the new all-wheel-drive Commodore/Insignias will come with a version of the GKN-developed rear differential found in the Focus RS and Range Rover Evoque, which is pretty neat on its own. And Opel/Vauxhall have always had wild performance versions of the Insignia and its Vectra predecessor. The last one made 325-horsepower and had all-wheel-drive. A new one would likely produce much more, since one of the available V6s makes 308 horsepower. Then imagine all of that extra hypothetical horsepower hooked up to the all-wheel-drive system that introduced us to "drift mode." Not only that, but rear-drive Holdens may not be completely dead yet. A Belgian man announced his intention to buy an old Holden factory along with the tooling and rights for the car once it was discontinued. His plan is to continue producing the old model after Holden is done with it.
Buick teases the next-gen LaCrosse
Sat, Oct 31 2015Buick continues to play coy about the next-generation LaCrosse, but the latest teaser hints at a swoopy profile for the upcoming sedan. While mostly just a silhouette, the teaser does provide a glimpse of the flowing roof and upward crease around the rear fenders – especially handsome touches. The rest of the LaCrosse remains a mystery. The only other part that we've seen is the Avenir-inspired grille, which features a more angular surround and chrome wings jutting from emblem in the center. Styling aside, the brand claims that the sedan is now more engaging behind the wheel thanks to a stronger, lighter chassis and five-link rear suspension. Powertrain rumors are rather vague but suggest the 3.6-liter V6 will be available when the model arrives at dealers in 2016. One thing we know for certain about the LaCrosse is that it debuts at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. That only leaves a few more weeks for Buick to keep this mystery going. Related Video:
