Up for sale is a 1950 Buick Roadmaster. This car was fully restored approx. 10 years ago, I have pictures of the complete restoration also. It was purchased by a friend of mine and unfortunately sat for approx 7 years and then was placed into storage, The paint as shown has faded. The car starts easy and quick but does need a rule pump cleaning, and brakes.. therefore it is NOT drivable at all at this time. It is minimum work needed to drive the car, the fuel is clean and like i said it starts right up.
The engine was restored and rebuilt and I have pics to show. I am selling this car due to the fact that it is 17.5 feet long and does not fit in my garage and I have other projects to complete. It is the last of a breed or luxury cars from the 50's and it is BIG and ROOMY...Has "Hydraulic Lift" windows, power front seat, radio, and all the luxury items that were available. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
