NO RESERVE auction absolute sale sold to highest bidder

2002 Buick Rendezvous showing 181,300 on odometer with mileage subject to vary with test drives and inspections.

This a very good running SUV that achieves outstanding gas mileage for its size and capacity.

This small SUV packs a punch with its 3rd row of seating allowing you to fit 7 people in the vehicle.  I am 6' 200 lbs and while it isn't the best of comforts I am able to get in and sit in the 3rd row.  It's more designed for smaller people but I could make a short trip in the 3rd row.

I have driven this vehicle and it drives very well.  The ac blows cold the heat blows hot.  It drives straight down the road and the cruise control works.  During our inspections we have replaced the brakes on all 4 wheels.  So you have new rotors and pads all the way around!  No brake worries for a long time.  Through my driving I did notice a few minor things that were not bothersome to me and would be very minor repairs should they be an issue to you.  The drivers side rear window is not functioning.  Power locks not functioning, doors do lock manually. The rear seat is a 50/50 split, the pass side doesn't lock into the upright position it's is either folded flat or it is in a reclined position while sitting in that spot.  This side also has a paint stain as you can see in the photo.  As with any used car it has its scratches and surface blemishes,mi ask that you refer to the pictures for those.

Mechanically the vehicle seems to be very sound and operational.  Tires are in good shape I'd say around 60%.  Brakes are 100% brand new.  Engine runs very strong and transmission drives and shifts smoothly throughout all of its gears.  At highway speeds 70 mph set the cruise and relax.  It doesn't have any abnormal shakes or vibrations.

I am offering this at absolutely no reserve and I will sell to the highest bidder so please bid early and don't miss out!

If you would like to test drive or inspect please do so before the auction ends as if you are the high bidder you will be the Proud new owner.  My name is Breeze and I can be reached at 262-721-8191 with any questions or to meet you for an inspection or test drive.

If you are going to have this truck shipped, I would be happy to work with your auto carrier company, I would also be happy to give you a quote on auto shipping if needed just let me know.

ATTENTION WI RESIDENTS: you are buying from a licensed WI dealer, upon arrival you will have the opportunity to look the car over and determine that it was as described. I will collect all sales tax and registration fees as required by law.  You will not receive a title on the date of pickup this will be mailed to you direct from the state of WI along with your license plates and registration.   This is a no reserve auction, your bid is your agreement to buy plus tax, title and registration fees.

ATTENTION Non WI RESIDENTS: you are buying from a licensed WI dealer, upon arrival you will have the opportunity to look the car over and determine it was as described. I will NOT collect any sales tax or registration fees for your state.  You will be provided with a complete used motor vehicle purchase contract (bill of sale) and the original title will be handed to you upon exchange for payment.  A temporary tag is your option it is $50 extra at your option.  A wisconsin temp tag is valid for 30 days.  This will allow you to legally operate this vehicle to drive home.  A valid drivers license and proof of insurance MUST be provided in order to obtain a temporary tag. This is a no reserve auction, your bid is your agreement to buy.

If you have questions or would like to see the truck in person and test drive it please contact me, my name is Breeze 262-721-8191

A couple other things regarding some questions that may come up about the pictures:

The photo of the dash shows battery light and check engine.....the key is off that is why those lights are on.  If you see rpm gauge you can see it is not running.  I just turned on key to get photo of mileage.

The last 2 pictures of air comp and jack.  The covers are there I just took covers off so you could view that the jack was in place and that there was an air compressor and power outlet behind the other one.

Again if you have any questions call me Breeze 262-721-8191 thanks

Buick's new logo ditches the ring, levels the shields

Tue, Mar 29 2022

Buick's logo is about to receive a relatively major update. The new-look emblem appeared in a trademark filing in March 2022, and a leaked image posted on social media has given us a better look at the design that should appear on production cars in the not-too-distant future. Published on Instagram by an account called Buick_Saudi_Arabia, the photo shows what seems to be Buick's new logo on the middle of a steering wheel. The changes made aren't groundbreaking, but they're certainly noticeable. The ring is gone, and the red, white, and blue shields are separated from each other and positioned on the same level. As of writing, the shields are staggered and surrounded by a ring.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Buick Saudi Arabia (@buick_saudi_arabia) One question that comes to mind is: why now? Buick has used its current logo for decades without significantly updating it, so what prompted the company to give the design a makeover? Several factors undoubtedly influenced this decision, but one that's worth shining light on is that the brand is no longer twinned with Germany-based Opel. For many years, some Opel-designed models made their way to the United States with Buick emblems on both ends. No one in Europe has heard of a Buick Regal; folks there know the sedan as the Opel Insignia. And, since the visual differences between these cars were often minor, using a Buick logo whose basic silhouette was similar to Opel's logo simplified the design process. Neatly integrating, say, Chevrolet's bowtie-shaped emblem into the Insignia's grille would have been harder, though more improbable acts of badge-engineering have been committed (the Ford Maverick was once a Nissan). General Motors sold Opel to PSA Peugeot-Citroen in 2017, and both carmakers are now part of Stellantis, so Buick's trans-Atlantic design ties have been cut. Losing the Opel connection gives Buick's design team more leeway to experiment with new ideas, like a revamped logo. Keep in mind that nothing is official yet. Full details and an explanation of what the new logo means should emerge soon. Why the shields? Buick isn't rooted in sword-fighting, so why have shields appeared on its cars for over 60 years? The answer, according to Buick, is relatively vague. What's certain is that the tri-shield logo didn't appear on Buick's early cars.

GM program sees dealers taking on way more loaner cars

Wed, Dec 17 2014

Given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. Bring your car into the dealership for service, and you may need a loaner car in exchange. And with so many recalls being carried out, that means a lot of loaners – especially at General Motors dealerships. That could be one of the reasons why GM is massively expanding its loaner fleet program. While many Chevrolet and Buick-GMC dealerships have an on-site rental car location operated by a third party like Enterprise (which may or may not provide a GM vehicle), others manage their own loaner fleets. But while the range of dealerships operating such fleets was once small, reports Automotive News, the number has been growing rapidly: from the locations responsible for only 20 percent of those brands' sales two years ago to about 90 percent today. The impetus for that growth comes down to a massive expansion of GM's Courtesy Transportation Program. The initiative encourages dealers to ramp up their loaner fleet to a maximum size determined by GM, with a mix determined by the dealer itself, so that a showroom in Texas can be bolstered with a fleet of pickup trucks and a dealer in California can employ more Volt and Camaro Convertible loaners. The dealership gets a $500 credit for each vehicle its puts in its fleet, and can use those vehicles as loaners for service customers, as multi-day test drivers or to rent out separately. The vehicles remain in the dealer's fleet for 90 days or 7,500 miles, then they can be sold as used, but with new-car incentives. The dealer gets a fleet of loaners, customers get to use the loaners, try out a new car overnight or buy a barely used car with attractive incentives, and GM gets to clock more sales. But therein lies the kicker: the automaker counts the dispatch of the loaner new vehicle to the dealership as a new-car sale, which could end up distorting its sales figures. Counting loaner vehicles as sold vehicles is something of an industry-standard practice, but given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. One dealership - Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY, for example - had no loaner fleet two years ago, but now runs a fleet of 50 vehicles. Multiply that by the 4,000 or so dealers GM has across America and you're talking about the potential for hundreds of thousands of these sorts of sales.

2019 Buick Envision First Drive Review | Still not a standout

Thu, Mar 15 2018

ATLANTA – "We're in the fashion business," executive chief engineer Rick Spina told us as he introduced the 2019 Buick Envision. "Except with a lot of technology." Spina was referring to the changing whims of new-car buyers, which have prompted Buick to give the compact Envision crossover its mid-generational update early — just 18 months into its lifecycle — and drop its prices across all trim levels. As with much of our consumer goods, the Envision is made in China. That doesn't seem to have hurt it in the market, even though it wears the badge of one of the most quintessentially American brands out there. It even aced the IIHS crash tests, putting it in league with Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus. There's good news and bad news about how the Envision is doing. It's now the third-best-selling model in the Buick portfolio, behind the three-row Enclave in second place and the surprise hit Encore subcompact crossover in first. Sam Russell, Buick's director of marketing, reported 73 percent growth in the past nine months versus the first half of its market life. A full 60 percent of Envision buyers are new to the GM family, too, and Russell says that nearly half of those are likely to buy another Buick SUV when the time comes to trade in the Envision. And yet, the Envision trails in luxury compact-crossover sales, behind mainstays such as the Audi Q5 and Acura RDX, even amid crossover demand in the U.S. that has companies like Nissan posting record sales numbers and Ford canceling a redesign of the Fusion. Our test of the 2017 Envision found it competent, but lacking that "X factor" that would send buyers of German and Japanese marques flocking. Instead, we compared it to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and deemed those both better values. Perhaps Buick feels the same, because the base 2019 Envision now starts at $32,990, a $2,000 cut from last year. The Preferred trim level sees a greater drop of $2,400, to $34,495. Rounding out the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter grades, the Essence's price falls $1,900 to $36,795. The turbocharged 2.0-liter Premium and Premium II trims get a discount of $1,600 and $1,400, respectively. With those prices come changes that Buick hopes will make the Envision a more compelling prospect. Outwardly, the Envision sports a new grille, a winged affair to replace the 2018's waterfall and bring it in line with the rest of Buick's lineup.
