CLEAR/CLEAN TITLE

I will be honest and list all of the problems that I see as I have driven the car multiple times along with all of the cosmetic defects.

I have for sale my 2001 Buick Regal GS Supercharged. It is a 4-door sedan with black exterior and gray interior. It is an automatic transmission and currently has 135,800 miles. The vehicle is in overall good condition considering age and mileage. The vehicle has brand new wheels with tires that have great tread. An oil change was performed less than 10 miles ago. The vehicle runs great with no problems whatsoever. There are no check engine or airbag lights on the dash. The transmission and engine are in great condition. The transmission shifts correctly and the engine is still running strong. After preforming the oil change, the undercarriage is very clean with no signs of oil leakage ever. Also, the gas gauge fluctuates erratically and the passengers side rear window does not work.

Cosmetically the vehicle is in decent shape. The interior of the vehicle is in excellent condition. It was a non-smoker, well kept vehicle. There are no tears or rips in the vehicle. The carpet is in good condition with no stains. The exterior of the vehicle could use some work. There is rust on both of the rear wheel wells. There is a dent by the passengers side rear door and wheel well. There is also a scrape on the drivers side front bumper. There is also some paint chipping on the passengers side mirror. The vehicle may have a few small dings but there are no major dents that I have not already listed.   photo 2_zps7309f918.jpg photo 5_zps757f9457.jpg photo 8_zps1dfeefef.jpg photo 10_zps5bf5d1d2.jpg photo 14_zpsda1961c6.jpg photo 16_zpseaaf4fad.jpg photo 19_zps75e26c28.jpg photo 23_zpsf47e4a2e.jpg photo 25_zpscc4086bc.jpg photo 26_zps9f7d039c.jpg photo 28_zps89b07b19.jpg photo 29_zpsd5194b20.jpg photo 35_zps6c81fb31.jpg photo 37_zpsf16774c2.jpg photo 40_zpsd5d19f07.jpg photo 41_zps3f9b3430.jpg photo 45_zps16ebe0dc.jpg photo 47_zpsdf35dab7.jpg photo 50_zps7ffa6443.jpg photo 53_zpse0c9bc57.jpg photo 55_zps6a779f27.jpg photo 59_zps3247e9ed.jpg photo 62_zps5190e238.jpg photo 65_zpsee30c548.jpg photo 68_zps60d729f7.jpg photo 70_zpsa2200616.jpg photo 73_zpsbf198c5d.jpg photo 75_zps61d812dd.jpg photo 78_zps252eac49.jpg photo 80_zpsbaded8b2.jpg photo BuickRegalAuto_zps8e147760.png photo buickregalauto1_zps6a6775fc.png photo buickregalauto2_zpsf7965398.png photo buickregalauto3_zps75ce7659.png photo buickregalauto4_zpsf0c68005.png photo buickregalauto5_zps0c00f9fb.png

Vehicles come with books and/or manuals only if pictured in photo gallery and/or if stated in the ad.

SHIPPING:

You are responsible for Shipping. You may hire a shipping company to pick up the vehicle. I will meet with them. You may also pick up the vehicle yourself. I have to enforce a 14 day grace period because of previous customers leaving the vehicles on my lot for weeks. 10 business days, 14 days from the end of the auction is an acceptable time period for you to arrange picking up the vehicle. If you do not comply, I will charge a daily $20 after the 14 day grace period has ended.

DEPOSIT/PAYMENT:

There will be a $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due within 24 hours of the auction. You can make this payment easily at the end of the auction via PayPal. The non-refundable deposit is put in place due to many people not completing the transaction. $100.00 is fair considering I have to pay eBay listing fees, and also the time wasted on the deal falling through.

The remaining amount is due within three days of auction close. I accept cashier's check, money order, and cash. I do not accept PayPal, unless you wish to pay the 3% Fee. If I do not receive the money within three days, it is understandable, as long as you have given me a tracking number for the shipment (check). If I do not receive the remaining payment or a tracking number within three days, I will charge a daily $10 after the three days.

The title is in my hand, it will be signed over and mailed to you once your payment has cleared.

May 2016: FCA wins, Ford and GM stumble on weak car volumes

Wed, Jun 1 2016

The May 2016 sales numbers are in, and it looks as though FCA is getting some vindication for boldly cancelling two slow-selling car models. Meanwhile, Ford saw overall sales dip and GM's May volume took a big dive versus the same month in 2015. While Marchionne's decision to axe the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Dart has drawn criticism as being short-sighted, it's working for FCA so far. Although the Dart and 200 aren't out of production yet and no capacity has been shifted to crossover or trucks, May's numbers show that the emphasis on Jeep and Ram models makes sense right now. FCA's US sales rose 1 percent last month compared to May 2015, putting the year-to-date total at 955,186 vehicles, an increase of 6 percent compared to the same period last year. Standouts included the Jeep Renegade, Compass, and Patriot, and the Fiat 500X. Ram pickup sales were down 3 percent. And your fun fact is that Alfa Romeo sales were up precisely 10 percent, for a total of 44 4Cs sold versus 40 in the same month last year. At FoMoCo, the Ford brand took a hit to the tune of 6.4 percent from May 2015 to 2016, registering 226,190 sales last month. Lincoln showed improvement on its modest numbers, going from 9,174 to 9,807, a 6.9 percent increase. Overall, Ford was down 5.9 percent for the month to 235,997; despite the slump, year-to-date total Ford sales are up 4.2 percent to 1,112,939. Strong sellers included Escape, Expedition, F-Series, and Transit - big stuff. Most small and/or efficient models (Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, C-Max) saw sales slides. Fusion sales were also down, likely due to effects of model changeover to the freshened 2017 model. Ford has promised four new crossovers and SUVs by 2020 and if things keep trending this way the company will be able to sell them, but things could change in the next four years. GM saw the worst of it for domestic brands. Retail and fleet sales were down for each of the four divisions, with the May 2016 total dropping 18 percent to 240,450 vehicles. GM's year-to-date sales are down 5.0 percent in 2016 to 1,183,705. Both the Sierra and Silverado were down significantly, and the majority of Chevy, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac nameplates saw sales decreases, with both small cars and larger utilities included. Not even big stuff could help GM this month, it seems. We'll have more on the rest of the industry's May sales as those figures trickle in.

NHTSA, IIHS, and 20 automakers to make auto braking standard by 2022

Thu, Mar 17 2016

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and virtually every automaker in the US domestic market have announced a pact to make automatic emergency braking standard by 2022. Here's the full rundown of companies involved: BMW, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo (not to mention the brands that fall under each automaker's respective umbrella). Like we reported yesterday, AEB will be as ubiquitous in the future as traction and stability control are today. But the thing to note here is that this is not a governmental mandate. It's truly an agreement between automakers and the government, a fact that NHTSA claims will lead to widespread adoption three years sooner than a formal rule. That fact in itself should prevent up to 28,000 crashes and 12,000 injuries. The agreement will come into effect in two waves. For the majority of vehicles on the road – those with gross vehicle weights below 8,500 pounds – AEB will need to be standard equipment by September 1, 2022. Vehicles between 8,501 and 10,000 pounds will have an extra three years to offer AEB. "It's an exciting time for vehicle safety. By proactively making emergency braking systems standard equipment on their vehicles, these 20 automakers will help prevent thousands of crashes and save lives," said Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx said in an official statement. "It's a win for safety and a win for consumers." Read on for the official press release from NHTSA. Automakers making the commitment are Audi, BMW, FCA US LLC, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Porsche, Subaru, Tesla Motors Inc., Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo Car USA.

GM announces 3 new recalls affecting 1.7M vehicles in North America [w/video]

Mon, Mar 17 2014

Still embroiled in the ongoing ignition switch recall, General Motors announced today three more discrete recalls, affecting a grand total of 1,546,900 vehicles in the US. The Detroit News reports that some 1.7 million vehicles are affected overall in North America. The first and largest of the trio of new recalls concerns some 1.18-million Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia crossovers from the 2008-2013 model years, Chevrolet Traverse from 2009-2013 (pictured above) and Saturn Outlook vehicles from 2008-2010. All of the crossover utilities may have an issue with the wiring harness for their seat-mounted side airbags. Apparently, the vehicles are equipped with a Service Air Bag warning light that, if ignored, "will eventually result in the non-deployment of the side impact restraints." Those restraints include the side airbags, a front-center airbag if the vehicle is so equipped and seatbelt pretensioners. Dealers of affected vehicles will be instructed to remove driver and passenger side airbag wiring harness connectors, and then "splice and solder the wires together." The second recall affects 303,000 Chevrolet Express (pictured right) and GMC Savana vans from model years 2009-2014, and with gross vehicle weights under 10,000 pounds. Said vehicles do not comply with a head impact requirement for unrestrained occupants, and will need a reworking of the instrument panel material to be sent back on the road. It doesn't sound as though there's a quick fix for this one, as the GM press release states: "Unsold vehicles have been placed on a stop delivery until development of the solution has been completed and parts are available." Finally, the third recall affects 63,900 Cadillac XTS luxury sedans from model years 2013 and 2014. A brake booster pump may be susceptible to corrosion by way of the relay, potentially causing and electrical short, overheating, melting of plastic components and even engine fires. GM says it is aware of two engine fires in unsold XTS models and two cases of melted parts. Repairs for the issues affecting the XTS have not not mentioned by GM in the release. The Detroit News is also reporting that along with news of the triple-recall, GM is taking a $300-million credit to help pay for the repair costs, and to deal with the ongoing costs associated with the ignition switch recall. In an attempt to explain just what GM has been doing in the face of these very serious issues, newly minted CEO Mary Barra has addressed the issues in a new video.
