Probe forged pistons 4.155 bore 10 1/2 compression. Comp Cams # XE284H-10. Roller rockers 1.6 ratio. AFR 210 cylinder heads 72cc. Crosswind air gap dual plane intake and Holley 4779 750 carb. Hooker 1 5/8 headers 2 1/2" exhaust. TCI th350 Street Fighter trans with TCI 3000 stall convertor. Starter, radiator, alternator, battery all new Delco parts. Gforce cross member. Hurst Promatic shifter. Grand National 8.5 rear 3.73 posi. Mickey Thompson et streets 275/60/15. Hotchkis rear lower control arms. Southside uppers. Drive shaft safety loop. Factory rear sway bar. New shocks & coil springs front and rear. Engine done 2008. Drive train has less then 5,000 miles. Paint and body done 2007 with new bumper fillers front and rear installed at that time. I put on 6100miles since owning this car. Have brought it to the track and ran a 11.8 right off the trailer. Pump gas no tuning full exhaust just to see what it will do. Nice solid car. Thu, Jan 29 2015Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). Opel Cascada is Europe's Buick convertible [w/video]
Wed, 17 Oct 2012As we reported earlier, there has been much speculation regarding a Buick convertible of sorts. The most ringing endorsement of this conjecture comes today from General Motors Europe, as the new Opel Cascada has debuted on the interwebs. Opel calls the four-passenger Cascada an "athletic, glamorous midsize convertible." With a length of 4,697mm (185 in.), the Cascada is as long as an Audi A5, to which GM has said it would be slightly larger.
The Cascada, which is Spanish for waterfall, features a cloth convertible top that retracts in 17 seconds and at speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). The Cascada features a 1.4-liter turbo gas engine, 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 165 horsepower and a range-topping 1.6-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine that puts out 170 horsepower and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft). Power is sent through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
According to GM, the Cascada will also come rife with luxury and tech features. In addition to adaptive forward lighting and ergonomic heated front seats, the convertible will feature Opel Eye, which is a front camera that can recognize traffic signs and incorporates lane departure warning and forward collision alert.

We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out.
Typically, after driving a new car or truck, we come away prepared to hazard a guess as to whether said model has a good chance of being a sales success. We've amassed enough time watching the industry, scrutinizing the competitors, and so on, to make a reasonably educated bet. Yet here we are, days removed from driving the new 2013 Buick Encore, and we still have no bloody idea.
