Hellro, I'm Dickie. I started in the car business the year I graduated from college. ( 1974 ). I started using Ebay motors about ten years ago. Now I buy cars one at a time, thoroughly inspect them and if they meet my standards I'll buy them to sell here and locally. ( I don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of ). I also don't exaggerate about the condition of my cars. Words like: pristine, "like new" showroom condition etc. I very seldom use. This car is the exception. It was bought new on 6 - 9 - 2000, for over $24,000.00. ( one owner, non smoker ) The original window sticker was placed in a zip lock bag and put with the owner's manual in the glove compartment. The interior shows no wear, even the floor mats. I bought this car in the condition you see in the pictures. The engine compartment is as clean as the interior and the original paint is as glossy as it was when new. This car should be driven to really appreciate it's condition. My wife and I drive every one of our cars, so we are very familiar with every aspect of their condition. Simply put: This car is about the closest you can get to " new " that I have seen in the hundreds of cars I've sold in the last forty years. I truly mean that. Please read the window sticker to see what this car has. Too much to list here. This car needs absolutely nothing. Tires are like new as well as the four wheel disc brakes. It has had impeccable maintenance over the years. If you are near enough to me, you won't be disappointed if you come and take it for a drive. It's that nice. By the way, I only sell cars on this site,so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car. No exceptions. So if you are in the market for a like new, pristine car under $4000.00, I don't think you will find a nicer one anywhere. GM to offer 2 years free maintance on most 2014 models
Thu, 06 Jun 2013A day after Ford announced it was scaling back the complimentary maintenance program for its Lincoln brand, General Motors has gone in the completely opposite direction, offering most of its 2014 lineup with free maintenance. Since 2011, Cadillac models have all come with a four-year/50,000-mile complimentary maintenance program, but Chevrolet, Buick and GMC vehicles will now come standard with free maintenance for two years or 24,000 miles for the 2014 model year.
The program will give vehicle owners and lessees free oil changes, tire rotations and 27-point inspections following the recommended maintenance schedule laid out in each vehicle's owner's manual. We contacted GM to see which vehicles were eligible for the program, and a spokesperson got back to us with the following comment:
"All 2014 models are eligible, it's just that the included services vary by model, e.g., Spark EV would not need oil changes, Corvettes don't recommend tire rotations."
Buick boss shuts down idea of importing Opel Adam
Wed, Mar 30 2016Anyone hoping for Buick to sell small city cars in America, you're not going to like this story. Buick boss Duncan Aldred has effectively ruled out importing the stylish Opel Adam city car for US drivers. Yep, this is us being bummed. Admittedly, the business case for Adam is not as strong as it used to be. Gas is cheap and consumers have fallen back in love with the idea of high-riding crossovers instead of efficient cars. That's why Buick sold twice as many teeny, tiny Encore CUVs in 2015 as it did its smallest car, the Verano. With that in mind, slotting in another car, let alone one below the Verano, isn't a great idea. Of course, Aldred didn't come out and say as much, even though he campaigned for a US-market Adam in the past. "I very much did feel when I came over that that could really help accelerate the Buick brand story," the executive told Automotive News at last week's New York Auto Show. "I don't see that as much. Whether the market shifted or the fashion nature of those cars has changed, I don't know. But I wouldn't be looking for a small, B-segment car today." That, friends, is a real bummer. Adding a car like the Adam, even in a small, captive-import capacity would add a real dose of fun to Buick showrooms and (we're guessing) would bring in younger foot traffic. Related Video:
2017 Buick Encore freshens up for the New York Auto Show
Thu, Feb 25 2016Buick is dressing up the 2017 Encore for spring – specifically the New York Auto Show – where the compact crossover is expected to strut its stuff. The freshening follows the playbook of the Chevy Trax, which was also updated with a light hand. Though it keeps its familiar shape, sort of like an oversized Pontiac Vibe, the Encore gets Buick's new grille. It's a simple look with the wings bisecting the brand's tri-shield, and it calls to mind Buick's iconic front ends from yesteryear. You might remember it from the Avenir and Avista concepts. There are also new headlights. They look stolen from Audi, and it's an attention-getting gaze for the new face of the Encore. There will likely be new wheel packages, too. We can't see inside the Encore. Spy photographers couldn't get close enough to this Buick shoot in Southern California. But, we expect the interior to also mirror the Trax enhancements, which included a new instrument panel, gauges, materials, and infotainment. The Encore shares underpinnings with the Trax and Opel Mokka. We expect the Encore to arrive in late summer.
