You are bidding on a 1987 Buick Regal T type. This vehicle has the well known and respected 3.8l turbo engine. Car has only 82k original miles. Vehicle is garage kept. I purchased it from the original owner. It also has the factory astroroof and G80 8.5 posi rear. It is cosmetically stock with some tasteful performance modifications. All modifications were done professionally. They include
-TA49 turbo (fresh no in/out shaft play.. No smoke)
-9/11 Billet converter 3200 L/U
-3" terry Houston downpipe
-Scanmaster
-Autometer gauges (boost,oil psi,coolant temp)
-Razors alky control alky kit
-40lb injectors
-Walbro fuel pump with Racetronix hotwire
-Racetronix Dual fan harness
-F Body radiator
-Dual electric fans
-New kirban wires
-CASV4 stretched intercooler
-ATR stainless catback
-11 sec. car with time slips to prove it. Car is built and ready to go. All the supporting mods are done. Very stock appearing street strip vehicle. Coolant temp never raises above 175..
Now for the bad.
Car runs but runs poorly at this time(watch video) will need passenger side or both head gaskets replaced before its drivable. I have spent thousands of dollars tastefully modding this vehicle. Its time for me to move on to complete my other build.
Sunroof motor needs to be replaced. Sunroof will leak until this is done. I never fixed it because car was always kept in the garage and never driven in the rain.
Thanks for looking. HAPPY BIDDING. SOLD AS IS. NO RESERVE

Hyundai, Buick dealer apologize in wake of Chinese baby social media incident
Sat, 09 Mar 2013A very strange story out of China today, as Hyundai and a Chinese Buick dealer were forced to face allegations of using allusions to an infamous child murder on a social media site as a way of promoting the safety features of their respective vehicles.
The original sad tale goes something like this: On March 4, a man reported to police that he had left his infant child in a running Toyota RAV4 while he ran into a supermarket briefly. When he came back out, the vehicle and the child were gone. Later in the week a suspect turned himself in to the police; confessing to them that he had stolen a sport-utility vehicle, strangled the infant that was in it, and then buried the child in the snow.
As you might imagine, the gristly incident was covered massively in the Chinese media. (There was huge public outcry as well, as evidenced by the vigil scene, above.) "Changchun baby abduction" was very quickly amongst the highest ranking search teams of the China's Weibo social media site - an equivalent of Twitter in the English-speaking world.
GM applies to trademark Buick's Electra name in Canada
Mon, Dec 27 2021At Auto China 2020 in Beijing, Buick revealed an Electra concept with a design language called Potential Energy created by one of GM's Shanghai-based design studios. A press release about the concept said the "all-electric crossover offers a sneak peek at Buick’s vision for a new intelligent electric future." It's possible that the "intelligent electric future" could include the Electra name, as the Rivian Owners Forum discovered Buick applied to trademark that model name in Canada on December 20. Buick isn't new to the name, having put it on a luxury sedan it produced from 1959 to 1990. What better way to resurrect history with electricity using the name Electra and a design language called Potential Energy? As the Rivian forum also noted, Buick snuck a concept car into General Motors' promotional video for the Ultifi software platform that will connect owners' digital lives across vehicles and locations. For less than two seconds at the end of the vid, a seriously chic fastback sedan speeds through a digital landscape, a Buick tri-shield logo set into what looks like an active rear spoiler. We don't see Buick building this car, but we'd love it if Buick did. What we imagine more likely is a more production-possible evolution of the Electra concept shown in Beijing last year that had Ultium batteries powering two electric motors that shared a combined 583 horsepower among both axles. The sprint to 60 miles per hour was said to take 4.3 seconds, range estimated at about 410 miles. The dihedral doors enclosed a buttonless cockpit with a rectangular, retracting steering wheel, huge curved screen, eConnect software, and an AI-powered assistant for feature control. There was also a skateboard tucked into the rear bumper for last-mile travel to the destination or the half-pipe. We expect Buick to launch at least one crossover in 2024, and another in 2025. One of them will likely compete with the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the production version of the Chrysler Airflow concept. Related video:
Experience the New York Auto Show by drone
Fri, Apr 10 2015The Autoblog team recently returned from wildly running around the Javits Center to cover all the news and debuts at the New York Auto Show. Sometimes, it's nice to take a more serene look at the exhibition floor, though, and the event's organizers are providing that exact opportunity by flying a drone through the hall. Combined with the down-tempo music, this clip feels like a form of automotive meditation. If you're going to miss the show in the Big Apple, the drone also provides a good overview at the exhibition floor, especially at the stands from Lexus, Buick, Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and BMW. Plus, it's a fun way to see some vehicles from a completely different angle than they ever appear on the road.
