1985 T-type , car is an original WH1 color code but previous owner reprayed it in metallic black about 8 yrs ago. WH1's are the rarest of all the Turbo regals. there were only 525 produced in 1985 vs 2102 GN's and 1575 T-types
The engine is from a 1987 Grand National and was rebuilt in 2004, it has about 12,000 miles on it right now.

the front end was rebuilt using a kit from PST that came with all tie rod ends, ball joints, center link, idler arm, and control arm bushings.
I changed the steering shaft to a jeep steering shaft due to the rag joint being shot. (the jeep shaft used needle bearing u-joints)
I converted to vacuum brakes
the tranny is stock but has an external cooler
the rear end is a stock 8.5 open diff.
has aluminum drums in rear.
Centerline wheels, skinnies up front and fatboys in back
the Fuel pump, MAF and Crank sensor were replaced about a year ago.
the power steering pump and K&N filter changed about a year or so ago. The hi torque starter and the batt are about 2 years old.
Steering Column was rebuilt 6 months ago with new bearings and all 3 bolts torqued with loctite.
New Grant steering wheel but original is included
new stereo and speakers installed.
Trunk redone, rust free and coated with Kevlar Duraliner coating. New trunk seal installed.
I will include the scanmaster and sun shroud as well.
Brand New Hooker Aerochamber exhaust from the downpipe back, all mandrel 2.5" twin factory exits behind wheels.
Driver's side door has all new seals, door and jamb stripped and resprayed. Have all seals for passenger side but it's not in bad shape
The car is complete and would make a great project for someone to finish up the minor cosmetics.

Next Opel Insignia to adopt sleeker looks
Fri, Aug 21 2015The very first set of spy photos of the next-generation Opel Insignia have dropped, giving us a look at the more svelte, aggressive, and stylish look of the popular sedan. As a reminder, the Insignia is sold here in the United States as the Buick Regal. There's only so much we can discern from these photos, thanks to the very heavy camouflage. But we can get a look at the new Audi A7-like roofline, which our spies citing similarities to the Opel Monza concept car from the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Monza link fits with our previous reports, which claimed the gullwinged wagon would serve as a prime source of inspiration for both the Insignia and US-market Regal. Aside from the significantly redesigned sheetmetal, Opel is also increasing the size of its flagship sedan, adding nearly four inches between the axles. According to our spies, the goal is to build a vehicle comparable in size to the Skoda Superb, a roughly Volkswagen Passat-sized sedan based on the VW Group's MQB platform. What's most interesting for US customers, though, is the body style shown here. Like the aforementioned A7, the next Insignia will be offered as a five-door model, rather than a traditional sedan. The five-door hatch would later be joined by a traditional wagon. It's unclear whether the US market Buick will take a similar route, or whether General Motors will demand a four-door variant exclusive to North America. Check out the spy photos above, and keep an eye open for more on the next Insignia/Regal. Don't plan on seeing it at an auto show any time soon, though. It's not slated to debut until the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Buick Adam a reality after all... but only in China
Mon, 03 Mar 2014General Motors may have parred down its brand portfolio, but it still has more under its umbrella than most. That's why, while a company like Ford might market the same vehicle under its own name in markets around the world, GM uses different brands in different markets. But no two are aligned quite as closely as Opel in Europe and Buick in the United States and China.
What we know here as the Buick Regal is sold overseas as the Opel Insignia. Our Encore is their Mokka. Verano? Astra sedan. But one thing we don't get here is the Opel Adam. The diminutive city car is GM's take on the Mini Cooper, Fiat 500, Citroën DS3 et al. Launched at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Opel Adam is named after the company's founder (like an ironic thumbing of the nose to the Ferrari Enzo). But while it's sold, like most Opels, in the UK as a Vauxhall, the prospect of it porting over to Buick seems slim to none. Right?
Sorta. While the Adam isn't likely to come Stateside, the latest reports (as yet unconfirmed by GM) suggest that The General is planning to sell the Adam in China where the Buick brand is also a strong seller. Local production could ensue, with prices targeting the Fiat 500 and engines - according to CarNewsChina.com - to include inline-fours displacing 1.2 and 1.4 liters with 69 and 100 horsepower, respectively.
Buick shows off new Ultra Luxury Interior for LaCrosse
Sun, 27 Apr 2014The options sheet of the 2014 Buick LaCrosse gets all kinds of fancy with the addition of the Ultra Luxury Interior. Pointing its Tri-Shield logo at the world of haute luxury, the cabin treatment combines sangria leather with ebony accents, shadow tamo ash wood trim and a microsuede headliner to "drive fashion forward."
You'll need to start with LaCrosse models with the 3.6-liter V6 and either the Leather, Premium or Premium II trims to go all Brioni and Buckingham on the cabin, and the privilege package will run you $2,495. We're told that you won't find such contrasting hues anywhere else in the class, though, and that kind of exclusivity might make any price a bargain.
