This beautiful Regal is in excellent condition. It was
well maintained by it's original owner. It was garage
kept until he needed a bigger 4 door car and then it
was moved to one of his barns. He used it for trips to
his doctor in Knoxville (50 miles away) every few
months to keep it in good running condition.

It runs, rides and drives like a new car.

The mileage will go up slightly as I have scheduled an
appointment at a trim shop for a new headliner and
another appointment at a muffler shop to replace
the exhaust system.

The original owner had the bumper fillers replaced.
This is an item most Regals need after 25 or so years.
The body shop got a good fit and a good paint match.

I have a set of whitewall tires and Buick Regal wire
hubcaps that will be included. They can be seen in
one of the pictures.

I have too many cars and at least one must go.
Please see my other listings - I have a 1986
Cutlass on eBay national listing and a 1988
Cutlass listed in the eBay local Classified ads.

I will be glad to work with anyone who wants to
bid on this car, but if you have a feedback rating
of less than 10, you must contact me first or I will
cancel your bid!

A payment of $200 will be required at the end of
bidding. The remainder can be paid with cash
if picked up by the buyer. Other methods of
payment will be accepted, but the car will
not be released until my bank has confirmed
the funds. This usually takes about 10
business days.

The buyer will be responsible for delivery. I will
be glad to deliver the car for expenses paid up front.

As with all used cars, this one is being
sold "As Is" with no warranty.

Buick really wants us to know the new Cascada convertible won't leak

Thu, Apr 16 2015

Quality testing on the factory floor is nothing to joke about. Automakers need to make sure the work being done is up to snuff, and that means some extensive checks. For Buick, that means using a lot of water for each of its Cascada convertibles. Each vehicle that rolls off the floor is subject to a high-pressure, ten-minute soaking that sprays nearly 20 gallons of water from each nozzle during every bath, just to guarantee the fabric roof hasn't sprung any leaks. For some reason, Buick has chosen to show off this testing with the help of what we imagine is the Gorton's Fisherman's baby cousin. Check out the strange testing video, available up top.

Buick version of Equinox/Terrain CUV spied testing... with autonomous gear?

Wed, 12 Jun 2013

Let's get the most pressing bits of this story out of the way right off the bat: What we see here appears to be a new compact crossover from Buick. According to the spy photographer, this machine may be a little bit smaller on the outside than the current Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain 'utes, which makes sense since recent rumors suggest GM's small crossovers will migrate to a new platform that will mark a convergence between the automaker's Delta (Chevy Cruze, Buick Verano) and Theta (Equinox, Terrain) platforms. This Buick would likely use this new D2UX platform.
We've been expecting Buick to unleash a crossover to slot between the very small Encore and the very large Enclave, and various rumors have indicated that the model may be known as either the Anthem or Envision. It's worth mentioning that Buick had planned, back in 2009, to release a vehicle in the compact CUV market, but abandoned those plans after a particularly poor reception.
And now for something completely different... Take another look at the spy shots above, and pay special attention to the cylindrical device mounted to the vehicle's roof. We can't say for sure what it is, but our spy photographer opines that it looks quite a bit like the 360-degree Lidar camera equipment used by Google for its autonomous cars. Is General Motors working with Google on autonomous car technology? We don't know, but you can definitely consider us intrigued.

Buick picks top 11 highlights from first 11 decades

Sun, 21 Apr 2013

Buick has taken the time to highlight some of the company's personal points of pride from the past 110 years. Those include everything from the automaker's very first vehicle, the 1904 Model B, to what Buick claims is the world's first concept car: The 1938 Y Job (above). That one also walked away with the worst name for a design study.
All told, the automaker has sold 43 million vehicles through the end of last year, and those include the lusty 1963 Riviera. That model celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2013, and remains one of the brand's most iconic designs.
Of course, Buick is rightfully proud of its quickest model, too. The 1987 GNX managed a 4.6-second bolt to 60 mph in tests by Car and Driver, and it also took the honor of being one of the automaker's rarest creations at just 547 units. You can check out all 10 in the gallery above.
