Here is a 1984 Buick Regal project car for sale. The frame is solid all the way back. The body is is solid with the exception of the bottom corners of the driver door, one spot behind the driver side rear wheel well, and some surface rust which can all be seen in the pictures. There are some small dents here and there also. The driver side floor has been patched. Tires are in great shape and are mounted on the Buick 14" chrome rally rims. All glass is intact. The interior is from a 1981 Buick Regal and is in good condition. The ductwork for the HVAC has been removed from the dash as well the underhood portion of the climate control. The underhood climate control assembly is included, but the interior ductwork is missing. The instrument cluster is from a 1984 Regal and is currently partially functional. (The odometer is not correct) The fabric has separated from the headliner and is drooping. Gas tank had been replaced with a brand new one. The engine is from a 1981 Regal and has had significant modifications done to it. Lists of these modifications are shown in the pictures. Some of these mods include; high compression pistons, high rise intake, Holley 650 carb, high lift cam, custom dual exhaust, Richmond 3.42 ratio rear end gearing, TH-350 transmission with shift kit, and many others. The trunk is filled with many extra parts including, misc. nuts and bolts, wiring harnesses, taillights, ram air parts, intake manifolds, distributor parts, and more. I also am including two extra bumpers, an extra hood, extra left front fender, extra grille, and some other small parts. The car does run and move, but it is not road ready and it does need work. Will have to be trailered out. Can drive it onto a trailer (if the battery has survived the winter). I have the clear title in my posession. I offer no warranty on this car and please keep in mind that it is a project car and not a daily driver. Could be made into whatever you'd like. I have no interest in continuing this car, which is why I'm selling it. I have far too many other projects going on. If you cannot pick it up right away, we can talk about a timeline for pickup and I can hold it for a reasonable amount of time if payment is received in full. (Such as until the snow melts enough to get to it) Car is currently covered for the winter, so I cannot offer additional pictures at this time. SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS Thanks for looking and reading. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.

Buick shows US dealers 2016 Cascada convertible
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The affordable four-seat convertible has become a largely forgotten genre in the States, especially with the death of the Chrysler 200 Convertible. Of course, there are still premium options from Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz - not to mention more overtly performance-oriented droptop pony cars from Chevrolet and Ford - but if you want an affordable cruiser, you're kind of out of luck. That may be about to change, however, with renewed rumors of the Opel Cascada (pictured above) making it across the Atlantic wearing a Buick badge.
According to GM Inside News, Buick showed off the Cascada to US dealers last week, with renewed word that the company plans to bring it over from Europe for the 2016 model year. The US version will reportedly be practically identical to its German cousin in terms of styling, but the powertrain underneath is less certain. According to GMI, it may use the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that is available in Europe with either 168 horsepower or 197 hp.
The Cascada rides on GM's Delta II platform, which also underpins the Verano, and the latest rumor certainly provides even more evidence that the convertible is probably on the way. Speculation about the droptop started when GM CEO Dan Akerson said last year that the car was on his wish list to bring over. Then, the US trademark on the name was reserved earlier this year, and the release was speculated for sometime in early 2016.
Buick envisioning a refreshed Envision crossover
Tue, Sep 19 2017Buick's first fully Chinese-built vehicle in the U.S., the Envision crossover, is now getting its very first refresh. Cars grow up so fast, don't they? There's no time to be wistful, though, so we need to take a look at this prototype. It looks like the Envision refresh is going to be very mild and focuses on strengthening the family resemblance between it and other Buicks. The waterfall grille now has a horizontal bar that intersects with the badge, as seen on every new and updated Buick since the latest LaCrosse. And although that badge is covered, we wouldn't be surprised if it changes from the all-silver design to the classic red, white and blue version that was reintroduced on the LaCrosse. The lower grilles have been changed, too. The outboard grilles that house the fog lights look smaller and less pronounced than on the current model, and the center piece appears to be thinner and wider. It also more naturally merges into the plastic air dam. The tail of this Envision, though more heavily camouflaged, also shows some minor updates. The most significant of them are the new taillights. They appear to have a similar boomerang shape as those on the LaCrosse, a distinct change from the ovular units of the current model. The lower edge of the bumper seems to have more of a faux diffuser look, and the exhaust tips now blend into the shape of the bumper, rather than ending in simple round shapes. Since this update is clearly a mild one, we would expect to see the new Envision on sale sometime next year, probably as a 2019 model. It will join a rather fresh Buick lineup alongside the new Regal and Enclave. GM program sees dealers taking on way more loaner cars
Wed, Dec 17 2014Given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. Bring your car into the dealership for service, and you may need a loaner car in exchange. And with so many recalls being carried out, that means a lot of loaners – especially at General Motors dealerships. That could be one of the reasons why GM is massively expanding its loaner fleet program. While many Chevrolet and Buick-GMC dealerships have an on-site rental car location operated by a third party like Enterprise (which may or may not provide a GM vehicle), others manage their own loaner fleets. But while the range of dealerships operating such fleets was once small, reports Automotive News, the number has been growing rapidly: from the locations responsible for only 20 percent of those brands' sales two years ago to about 90 percent today. The impetus for that growth comes down to a massive expansion of GM's Courtesy Transportation Program. The initiative encourages dealers to ramp up their loaner fleet to a maximum size determined by GM, with a mix determined by the dealer itself, so that a showroom in Texas can be bolstered with a fleet of pickup trucks and a dealer in California can employ more Volt and Camaro Convertible loaners. The dealership gets a $500 credit for each vehicle its puts in its fleet, and can use those vehicles as loaners for service customers, as multi-day test drivers or to rent out separately. The vehicles remain in the dealer's fleet for 90 days or 7,500 miles, then they can be sold as used, but with new-car incentives. The dealer gets a fleet of loaners, customers get to use the loaners, try out a new car overnight or buy a barely used car with attractive incentives, and GM gets to clock more sales. But therein lies the kicker: the automaker counts the dispatch of the loaner new vehicle to the dealership as a new-car sale, which could end up distorting its sales figures. Counting loaner vehicles as sold vehicles is something of an industry-standard practice, but given the volume of vehicles we're talking about, this is a significant development for GM's bottom line. One dealership - Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY, for example - had no loaner fleet two years ago, but now runs a fleet of 50 vehicles. Multiply that by the 4,000 or so dealers GM has across America and you're talking about the potential for hundreds of thousands of these sorts of sales.
