2004 Buick Rainier Cxl Plus Luxery Sport Utility 4-door 4.2l 4 Wheel Drive Suv on 2040-cars
Harleysville, Pennsylvania, United States
The Buick Rainier is a spacious luxery mid-size SUV that seats 5 and
boasts a highly regarded Vortec 4200 engine, an inline six-cylinder that
provides an impressive 275 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque.
This 04' Buick Rainier CXL has a 4 Speed Automatic Transmission. Vehicle has 113,705 miles Four Wheel Drive!! 14 City, 19 Highway Miles Per Gallon Annual Safety Inspection Stickers are good through 12/14 This vehicle is in great shape inside and out. No dents or major scratches on the body and the interior is in near perfect condition. We have service history! Recent repairs include: -BRAND NEW front brakes (pads and rotors) -Battery Replacement less than a year ago -All Four New Tires done last October -Rear Brakes (Pads and Rotors) Done less than a year ago -New Encoder Motor (operates 4 wheel drive) Despite it's powerful V6 engine, the Rainier is among the quietest SUVs we've ever driven, and it rides more smoothly than other GM models Rainier features unique styling cues, including a distinct grille, hood, front quarter panels and rear hatch door. Its large, oval-shaped grille helps soften the boxy SUV architecture. The upper section of the chrome grilles provides a bold background for the Buick name, with a large Buick tri-shield badge set in the midst of the grille's vertical bars. The Rainier's face also includes wide, three-element headlamps with separate fog lights and side marker lights in the lower front fascia. The creased hood lends an elegant strength to the Rainier's appearance. Its stance is enhanced by Buick-exclusive, eight-spoke, cast-aluminum wheels. Just as the front grille alerts you to the fact that this SUV is a Buick, the rear view includes a prominent chrome eyebrow bearing the Buick name as part of the license plate holder. The instrument panel features platinum-colored gauges with turquoise-colored pointer needles that almost appear to light up against the metallic background. Not only are they very attractive, but we found them easy to read, even through polarized sunglasses, which is certainly not the case with the electroluminescent gauge clusters on many other so-called luxury vehicles. The large dot matrix on the windshield helps block the glare of direct sunlight above the rear view mirror and between the sun visors. One fantastic comfort feature of this vehicle is its 8-way Power Front Seats. The drivers seat and front passenger seat can be adjusted 8 different ways. Seats adjust forwards and backwards from the steering wheel, the seat can be raised or lowered off the floor, the angle of the seat can be adjusted, and the angle of the backrest can be adjusted, all by the touch of a button. As well, the seat has a lumbar adjustment for lower back stability, also controlled by a power switch. The driver's seat also has memory controls, allowing for 2 separate 8-way seating preferences to be remembered and brought back at the touch of a button. This makes it easy to readjust back to the way you like your seat positioned after having someone else drive your vehicle. The air conditioning system on this vehicle is very sophisticated. Dual Zone climate controls allow the driver and front passenger to have the temperature right where they want it, even if one wants a/c and the other heat. Automatic Climate Control allows for a specific temperature to be achieved and sustained; allowing you to never again have to fiddle with the air vent and hot/cold dials every couple of minutes. Set the climate controls to the temperature you want and enjoy the ride. This vehicle has an Electrochromic Rearview Mirrow, which allows for the mirror to become darker or lighter in order to get rid of annoying sun or headlight glare Feel Free To Call, Text, Or Email ANYTIME 267-718-nine four one nine |

GM puts e-commerce shopping in car dashboards
Tue, Dec 5 2017DETROIT — General Motors on Tuesday said it will equip newer cars with in-dash e-commerce technology, betting it can profit as drivers order food, find fuel or reserve hotel rooms by tapping icons on the dashboard screen, instead of using smartphones while driving. GM's Marketplace technology, developed with IBM, will be uploaded automatically to about 1.9 million model-year 2017 and later vehicles starting immediately, with about 4 million vehicles across the Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac brands equipped with the capability in the United States by the end of 2018, GM said. GM will get an undisclosed amount of revenue from merchants featured on its in-dash Marketplace, Santiago Chamorro, GM vice president for global connected customer experience, said during a briefing for reporters. Customers will not be charged for using the service or the data transmitted to and from the car while making transactions, he said. "This platform is financed by the merchants," Chamorro said. GM will get paid for placing a merchant's application on its screens, and "there's some level of revenue sharing" based on each transaction, he said. It is too soon to say how much revenue GM could realize from the Marketplace system, he said. The GM Marketplace will compete for customer clicks and revenue with hand-held smartphones, which offer a far richer array of applications than the GM system will at the outset. Amazon.com is partnering with other automakers, including Ford, to offer in-car e-commerce capability through Amazon's Alexa personal assistant system. For example, GM will launch Marketplace with just Shell and Exxon Mobil icons in the fuel category. The only restaurant available for in-car table reservations at launch is the chain TGI Fridays, GM said. In addition, there will be apps for parking, and ordering ahead at coffee shops and restaurants such as Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts and Applebee's. "We will be adding more vendors," with some coming in the first quarter of 2018, Chamorro said. In addition, he said GM plans to expand integration into its vehicles of music, news and other information services. GM also hopes to use its in-car Marketplace connections to expand purchases of products and services, such as additional access to in-car wifi, from its own replacement parts business and dealer network. Customers can "expect to see more service promotions coming through the platform," Chamorro said. Reporting by Joe WhiteRelated Video:
2014 Buick Regal GS
Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
GM recalling 1.5M cars in China for faulty bracket
Fri, 27 Dec 2013General Motors and its Chinese partners have announced their second recall in the People's Republic this year, following a 2,653-unit recall of the Cadillac SRX earlier this year. This latest recall affects nearly 1.5 million cars built between 2006 and 2012. It's not explicitly stated, but as there's no movement from the US NHTSA, we suspect that the cars in question were all Chinese-built rather than imports.
The vast majority of the affected vehicles are Buick Excelles (pictured), with 1.2 million units being recalled over a faulty bracket that's meant to secure the fuel pump. The Excelles in question were built between 2006 and 2012, while an additional 250,000 Chevrolet Sail superminis, built between April 2009 and October 2011, are being recalled for a similar reason.
According to the PRC's Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the faulty bracket could crack and potentially cause a fuel leak.
