1964 Buick LeSabre 4 door hardtop. This vehicle has been basically 1 family owned since new. This car is a project but, very complete and should be a runner without too much work. This Buick has been out of service for past 20 years. Some could call it for lack of a better term "barn find" as it did sit in a rickety wooden carport past several years.
Body is quite straight, has primer on rear quarter panel and a few small dings, a dent on front right fender (small). Some rust bubbles in some of the lower door corners but, nothing too bad. Trunk lower floor area is a bit thin in places due to poor weather stripping. Car was repainted at some point probably 25-35 years ago. Car appears to have been originally a nice shade of gold. Chrome and stainless all mostly decent except missing a quarter molding and rear bumper end is damaged.
Engine and bay area all original and complete. This car came with factory Air Conditioning. I put a battery in it and primed the carb, it started momentarily and sounded good. NO FUEL TANK, it is missing. I believe they are now being reproduced. This car is being sold as NOT RUNNING.Bring trailer or send tow truck.
Interior is all orig and very complete. It will need to be redone but, decent overall for it's age! Dash is complete down to the original radio and should clean up nice. Interior floors seem solid. Windows all roll up and down.
I have a clear California title in my name. The car is placed on NON-OP status, so no back/yearly fees due.
SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS. High bidder buys the car NOT the option to come take a look! NO FIRST TIME BIDDERS. Make sure your your funds are in order prior to bidding. $500.00 due within 24 hours, balance in full 5 DAYS. You have two weeks to remove, Buick in HEMET CA 92545. 75 miles from LA ports.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
Top-of-the-line 2018 Buick Regal TourX costs $43,795
Tue, Nov 28 2017Buick has unveiled an online configurator for the 2018 Regal TourX wagon, and it shows that picking the full suite of premium options puts the sport wagon at $43,795. That prices it under its Regal GS Sportback sibling and competitors like the Volvo V60 Cross Country and Audi A4 Allroad. The luxury hatchback starts at $29,995 and is available in three trim options: TourX 1SV, Preferred ($33,575) and Essence ($35,945). All are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque and drives an eight-speed automatic transmission. Intelligent all-wheel-drive with active twin-clutch, start-stop technology and 18-inch painted aluminum wheels are also standard. There are eight exterior color options, including Sport Red and Summit White for no extra charge, and two options for the interior at no extra charge. Driver Confidence package options come with things like LED headlamps, 4-way lumbar seat adjuster and rear park assist for $1,725, and various driver-assist technologies including adaptive cruise control and forward collision alert for an additional $1,190. A panoramic moonroof will set you back $1,200. At 73.5 cubic feet with the second-row seats folded down, Buick says the TourX boasts more overall cargo space than the Subaru Outback, Volvo V60 Cross Country, Audi A4 Allroad and BMW 3-series Sport Wagon. The rear hatch area offers 32.7 cubic feet with the seats up.Related Video:
Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
