Hello everyone i have a 2011 Buick enclave with 26,964 miles,it is all wheel drive and has many very good parts left on this,I bought this car from the hurricane sandy cars at and auto auction to use some parts off of it to rebuild a 2012 Enclave, before disassembling the car i took all of the interior out of it and washed the whole car down with a anti corrosion cleaner that not only cleans the salt off but neutralizes it,then i thoroughly rinsed the car with fresh water,i changed the oil and filter even thought there was not a drop of water in the engine or transmission,i then started it and let it run for a while and then drove it up and down the street and it runs like new.I was told that the water had only gotten to the bottom of the seats and after removing the seats it was confirmed, all of the seats was shot and the electrical in the floor,i used the right side passenger side doors the r fender, hood, grill ,bumper both headlamps, the complete radiator coolers and core support, engine craddel, side curtain airbags, dash complete including passenger airbag, driver airbag, radio and miscellaneous dash parts both right interior door panels, but there is a lot of like new parts still on this car, this car can be used for parts or be rebuilt. This car was the the top of the line CXL II.You can see by the pics what is left of this car,and can hear it run as well as see it drive, this car would sell in an auto auction as is for allot more then i am asking but i have got what i need so you can save some money on your parts sell the parts or rebuild it too. Here is a parcel list of parts on this car.motor, and transmission, rear transfer case, left doors complete, rear gate complete two sunroofs, and most of the chassis, both rear qtrs, roof, floor, both center post cowl complete frame, suspension, tires are not to great but the 19" wheels are like new,and there is a lot of interior plastic parts, center console parts anyway you can see by the pictures.Buyer pays for shipping, and no you can't pay some and have a driver pick it up NO checks, money orders or wire transfers,i will except pay pal and and a bank to bank wire transfer i will except a deposit thru paypal or cash, car will not be released until paid in full.Contact me if you have any questions about the car or payment. Thanks for looking, and good luck.

2013 Buick Verano Turbo vs. 2013 Acura ILX 2.4

Answering The $30,000 Entry-Level Luxury Question
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and Acura would have matched a Skylark against an Integra.
Twenty years ago, a comparison between an entry-level Buick and its Acura equivalent would have matched a Skylark against an Integra. The unfair battle would have resulted in the compact American's defeat in nearly every measurable category, as the Japanese competitor was arguably at the height of its powers.

Buick confirms US-market Envision CUV to be built in China

Fri, Dec 4 2015

As expected, the Buick Envision will come to the US market in 2016, and as rumored, it'll be GM's first product imported from the People's Republic. Buick confirmed the news today, while also releasing a number of technical details on the mid-size CUV, which has sold nearly 130,000 units in the Chinese domestic market in the first 11 months of 2015. When it arrives in US dealers next summer, the Envision will feature a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder EcoTec four-cylinder. Good for an estimated 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, the four-pot turbo is paired to a well-received six-speed Hydra-Matic 6T70 transmission. That's the same automatic gearbox that's offered in the turbocharged Regal and Regal GS and the current six-cylinder LaCrosse. The entire affair is underpinned by torque-steer-fighting HiPer strut front suspension, a crossover first for Buick, with a four-link setup in back. According to Buick, the Envision will also get the same Active Twin Clutch all-wheel-drive system being offered on the Cadillac XT5 and the new LaCrosse. Like the Chinese-market Envision, Buick is offering the USDM model with active grille shutters, LED running lights, LED taillights, heated front/rear seats, a heated steering wheel, 19-inch wheels, and a Bose stereo as standard. Buick also lists highlights like Active Noise Cancellation and an eight-inch IntelliLink infotainment system, although it's not clear whether these are standard features. There's no word on which auto show the Envision will debut at. Considering the timing, next month's Detroit Auto Show is a strong contender, although if Buick wanted to really drum up headlines ahead of its on-sale date next summer, it'd formally introduce its newest CUV in April, at the New York Auto Show. Either way, expect to see more of this handsome, Chinese-built CUV soon. It was awarded Motor Trend SUV of the Year in China and has 127,085 sales so far this year. When it goes on sale in 2016, it will play an important role in a crossover lineup that currently represents 60 percent of Buick sales in North America. It targets customers shopping between the Encore, the best-selling Buick in eight years, and the Enclave, which has continued to grow its customer base since its 2007 introduction.

A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]

Thu, Dec 18 2014

Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
