"One family" owner handed down 3 generations. The car was purchased in Oak Park Illinois in 1979 by my wife's Grandparents and driven to the palm springs, california area. They passed away 10 years ago; thats when my father in law took possession and had the car brought back to Illinois in 2008-2009. The father-in-law moved to California 4 years ago and the car has been in my/our possession, and it is for sale. We get stopped all the time asking if we want to sell her, and always say No; we are now saying yes. This car is garage kept From Oct-Nov through March-April depending on the weather. AC works, cruise control works, clock works/radio works. The car has 79,500 +- miles on it and she's getting ready to be put up for the winter. This price is firm; no low balls will be accepted; I am ok keeping the car. The issues the car has are cosmetic i.e. bumper fillers have deteriorated due to the Hot desert sun. the interior door/arm rest are cracking due to the desert sun. The drivers side has a good piece of vinyl missing. There are some pinhole chips on the body and it drives me crazy. . .but to everyone else she is whistle clean. Paypal account is needed to consumate this transaction.

J.D. Power: Mini, Lexus again offer most satisfying sales experience
Thu, 29 Nov 2012JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
MotorWeek remembers the nearly forgotten Buick Reatta
Thu, Feb 18 2016The Reatta was Buick's failed experiment to take on European competitors with its own two-seat luxury coupe and convertible. The model only lasted a few years, and US customers didn't see another droptop from the brand until the Cascada. The latest MotorWeek Retro Review takes a look back at the short-lived roadster and remembers it quite fondly. Host John Davis calls the 1990 Reatta droptop "one of the best looking convertibles ever." His sentiment seems a little hyperbolic, but the roadster is definitely an attractive machine by the standards of the time. The smooth front end and pop-up headlights are reminiscent of Japanese sports cars of era, and the profile with the top down is elegant. There are weaknesses, though. The manual roof mechanism appears cumbersome to operate, and the crude digital instruments, which simulate physical dials, make the cabin look too dated. Other than a complaint about over-boosted power steering, MotorWeek enjoys how the Reatta drives, too. Buick's roadster is largely forgotten today, but such glowing praise suggests it deserves to be better remembered. Check out this Retro Review to look back on this interesting experiment from the early '90s. Related Video:
