1973 Buick Electra 225 Limited Hardtop 4-door 7.5l-15,000 Original Miles on 2040-cars
Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, United States
This is an original vehicle with 15,000 documented miles as per Georgia title. This vehicle rides and handles like a brand new car, it is a pleasure to drive or ride in. This car has a beautiful green brocade interior, not the usual vinyl. It was sold new in Dalton, Georgia and remained there until I purchased it in 2010. The car was manufactured in June, 1973 and shipped to Dorsey Buick Olds in Dalton. It is the LIMITED model which is the most expensive Electra made, has every major option available except a sun roof. Everything works fine except cruise control. Has am/fm stereo radio with working 8 track tape player, power steering, brakes, door locks, windows, 60/40 split front seat, both sides power, trunk release in the glove compartment, tilt wheel, lamp monitors on the front fenders and six new matching radial white wall tires. The body has no rust and interior is perfect. I have driven the car 2,000 miles in the four years that I have owned it. My reserve is very reasonable for a car of this quality and provenance. Please call Marshall with any questions or to discuss a "buy it now", 508-353-8884

Buick Regal GS and troupe of basketball dribblers make great beats
Wed, 02 Apr 2014The 166 videos posted by YouTube music video maestro Kurt Hugo Schneider have been watched almost half a billion times. When Coke wanted to do something musically inclined and a little different, it called KHS, and the result was the video Little Talks.
Buick appears to be the next blue chip in line, and KHS' melodic celebration of the 259-horsepower Regal GS is called Epic Basketball + Car Beat. In it, a red Regal sits at center court in Venice Beach, California while a cast of ridiculous dribblers make music with and around the sedan.
We'll let the music speak for itself, which it does quite well in the video below.
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
Opel Cascada close to getting green light for US
Fri, 13 Sep 2013For a company with a long tradition of grand touring convertibles, it's almost unseemly that General Motors doesn't offer a properly relaxed four-seat convertible in North America. There's the Chevrolet Camaro, of course, but it's not big on rear-seat space and it doesn't offer that sort of serene demeanor that many open-air buyers crave. We're thinking of something more refined and, dare we say, elegant. Something a bit closer to the Opel Cascada.
The General's front-wheel drive convertible went on sale in Europe this year, and while it seemed like a natural fit for its Buick brand in America, it's never been sold here. That may be about to change, however. Back in June, CEO Dan Akerson hinted he'd like to see the Cascada available in the US, and now there's word from Edmunds that importation "could happen soon." That's according to an unnamed insider at the company.
